One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything is old and has that unpleasant smell of outdated furniture. The breakfast is very poor and limited, but the worst part is the noise made by the cleaning ladies at 8 a.m. in the hotel hallway, slamming doors and shouting to each other as if they were in a jungle! A total disappointment, especially considering that a room costs €185 per night — extremely expensive for what it offers! Definitely not a 4-star hotel; maybe 2 stars at most! The reception staff, however, were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed to this amazing hotel for three nights. I was to Como for a wedding so I booked a superior single room, which included breakfast. The room was very clean and smells good. Everyday the staff of the hotel cleaned the room and changed the sheets and the towels everyday. Also the breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices. I loved that they offer the coffee that everyone order. Last but not least the receptionists were so kindful, smily and ready to help you whenever you need it. If I visit Como again I'll definitely book it again. I recommend it and I wish to return back as soon as possible. Congratulations to everyone!
We stayed 5 nights in this hotel and had a great experience. Great location to visit como old city and very friendly staff. They recommended us good restaurants in the neighborhood. Clean rooms with good working AC and daily clean-up of the room. We recommend this hotel! 👌
Weird hotel, converted from a convent. The shared spaces are neat, rooms are odd, so many stairs. My room was a split level with landing. Downstairs to bed, upstairs to tiny bathroom.
First of all, a huge shout out to Jean-Luc* for his outstanding service. I asked him for a restaurant recommendation for seafood pasta and he sent me to Il Carrettiere. It was just 2 blocks in from the waterfront, but completely packed with not with tourists but with locals. When I got there, they asked if I had a reservation. I said no, but when they asked for my name, I found out that Jean-Luc had already called ahead and asked them to prepare a table for me. Outstanding service that elevated the entire experience. * apologies for the spelling if it's off. I'm going by ear!
