Private Transfer Punta Cana Airport To/from Dreams La Romana

Our voucher arrived late, we were already at our hotel, so it was a little difficult at the airport. There was no one there to greet us. I didn’t get a response to my WhatsApp inquiry. We had our booking and confirmation numbers so an agent of a different company helped us call our driver who then came after a short wait. Then we had to walk several blocks and wait on a street corner while he got the car. It was very hot! Once we were in the car everything went smoothly.

We booked a one-way transfer from PUJ airport to our Bayahibe/La Romana Resort. Before pick up we received a WhatsApp message about our pick up. The driver was at the airport exit (before the parking lot) with our name on a clipboard. The driver was friendly, spoke English perfectly and gave us some tips for our week here. The drive was smooth and comfortable. We appreciated that the air conditioning was on full blast as it was a heat wave that day. We would happily book with them again.

On time, put all our luggage in van, driver was great!

This was the worst airport transfer I’ve ever experienced. I was told ahead of time that the terminal we were arriving to was under construction and that the driver would meet us right outside. Perfect, he was there with a sign. What I did not expect was to have him speed walk us a quarter mile away from the terminal, dragging our luggage the whole way, to a shady looking spot of a slight driveway with a gate blocking it. We then had to wait until he went and got the car and drove back to pick us up. While I understand the terminal was under construction, plenty of other transport companies were actively picking passengers up at the terminal. The only reason I could come up with for why it was handled in this way was that it must be some sort of unofficial transfer service and they wanted to avoid the terminal. They had no business shirts or logos identifying them as a legit company. He also had what I assume to be his wife with him, which made the whole thing seem even less legit. All in all, a very uncomfortable start to vacation. I would never recommend this and am shocked by the high rating they currently hold.

Caribbean Airport Transfers was top notch! They got in contact from the time we reserved the transportation and remained in contact prior to our trip. The day before travel, they sent a very detailed message via WhatsApp to explain how we would identify our driver, how to avoid interacting with the wrong transportation service, and how long they would wait once our flight landed. The gave us a head's up about construction at the airport and the alternative plan to reach the driver. The sent a photo of my name on the tablet we should be looking for and to let me know our driver was ready to receive us. As far as our departure, communication was great. They texted the day before to confirm transportation (date, time, and location). The driver was going to be delayed by 5 min and we were notified in plenty of time. He showed up as promised, tablet in hand with my name, and got us safely back to the airport as scheduled. They shared a link with information about other services they offered related to other tours and excursions. I appreciated that they were not too pushy with this. They provided a link and left the decision up to us. The drivers were courteous, professional, and provided great service. The vehicles were clean, spacious, and both drivers provided great music for the drive. I would highly recommend Caribbean Airport Transfers and will definitely use them again!

Same driver from airport to Dreams La Romana (45 min ride) and then return 7 days later. Driver at airport when we arrived but took a while to get van to pick up area. For return arrived 10 min before scheduled pick up time so no stress waiting for pick up. Van was clean and comfortable for 15 people and luggage

Worked great for our family of five. In addition to the email confirmation, I received a direct text message (not automated) within a few hours of booking. I asked questions via text and received quick answers. Communication via text was easy. The linkup at the airport was very easy, allowing us to avoid any hassle at all. This was such a seamless process. We had a major flight issue. It was rebooked for the next morning. Noah Transportation was flexible and greeted us upon arrival. They took care of all our bags at airport and at arrival to/from the resort so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Both drivers we had were friendly, informative, and patient. Their comfortable van had WiFi on board, great music, and bottled water. Their pricing is also very reasonable. I highly recommend them for PUJ airport transfers.

Our experience with this transport service was to a resort 45 minutes from airport. The driver was early and courteous We made a mistake on date of arrival and someone was still there immediately as we texted the correction when we landed. The ride was clean and smooth

I would recommend this company 100%. They were easy to connect with through WhatsApp, reliable and always friendly! When traveling to a new place with family and children, you’re always more precise. This company did not disappoint us in any way. They contact you soon as you schedule, answer questions/concerns immediately and connect with you prior to departure. Transfers are one way then you schedule your return for another fee. It was still more affordable (and more private) than the hotel transfers. The drivers were so kind and on time! Please don’t forget to tip them! Overall, we would recommend and use them when returning to Punta Cana!

This company is exactly what you need when traveling to a new place safe/relabel/fun. I had to choose and activity but we took Punta Cana Transfer for multiple transfers, 5 transfers as we changed resorts half way through the trip and had part of our party leave. And we also booked the Saona private excursion which I will review separately. Julio and his team are very responsive and on time, Julio would be sure to write on what’s app the day before to confirm pick up times. We never had to wait, drivers were always on time and nice air conditioned vehicles and best of all we felt safe. Best service I have received from a transport company and would recommended them 100% to anyone traveling to Punta Cana/ La Romana.

Miguel was top notch. He patiently waited for me both times for pick up with my name on a sign that was clear and legible. He had cold drinks ready for me in a cooler and drove safely to and from my hotel. I can’t wait to return back to punta cana and schedule a pickup from my friend

We used this company to get from the airport in Santo Domingo (SDQ) to the Hilton La Romana and back. I would highly recommend them. The drivers were courteous, skilled, and actually knew and obeyed traffic laws. We felt very comfortable and safe riding with them. This was important because the drive is almost 90 minutes. Most of it is along a very well maintained divided highway. Julio, our point of contact, was in touch by email and text the day before each pick up to confirm details. This operation is professional and one you can trust. We would use them again without hesitation.
