Private Tiwanaku Ruins And Puma Punku Tour

On this 5-hour tour, you will enjoy a scenic drive through the highlands and visit ancient Tiwanaku, one of the most important pre-Inca civilizations. The main constructions visited during this tour are: Kalasasaya temple and the Gate of the Sun constructed out of stone, Ponce and Fraile monoliths; Akapana pyramid and semi-underground temple. There will also be a visit to the Puma Punku temple the largest pieces of stone with carvings of high quality and a trip to the old colonial village of Tiwanaku, where the use of stones from the ruins can be seen in constructions. Two local museums to view pottery, and stonework and learn about the culture are also included on this trip.
