Full Day Guided Tour In Copacabana And Isla Del Sol

I had an absolutely fantastic day. I was picked up right on time and had a great guide. Javier did a fantastic job; he was very friendly and took excellent care of his guests. He made sure that everything was clear and that everyone felt completely at ease—everything went perfectly smoothly. Furthermore, he shared a wealth of knowledge with us and told us some fascinating legends. Thank you so much, Javier—you were great!

We did a Cusco to La Paz bus tour. The booking was easy. We did an extra tour to Lake Titicaca and Isla Del Sol which we just had an amazing experience. The access from Peru to Bolivia immigration was also easy as the bus coordinators (Luis and Andres) were all kind, patient, and efficient. We arrived in La Paz on Oct 31st and the road was full of people. Andres went beyond his duty to call each traveller's hotel to help each one arrive safely. Anna, from.Bolivia Hop office also helped us get thru the crowd to our hotel on foot, as roads were closed due to the Halloween celebration.

We booked the tour as part of our overland journey from La Paz to Puno. Everything worked out smoothly. We were continuously well informed about timing, program an options. Our guide Javier was amazing. So attentive, helpful and all smiles! He shared many interesting stories and historic events. Warm recommendation!

Abner our tour guide was great. Very friendly, polite and has fluent English. He was very informative and answered all our questions. Andres his assistant was also great for organising the group.

Excellent service. Buses are comfortable. They have wifi all the time and it is fast enough, so you are never disconnected. Our guide was very good: Emerson. He gave us step by step accurate information and links (in whatsapp chat) regarding what was going on in the tour and lots of advice. We really appreciate the service provided by this tour operator. They did not let us down. Doing this tour in one day is probably too much. My recommendation is that if you have time stay in Copacabana or Isla del Sol at least one night. We only had one day available.

Isla del sol is very nice and peaceful, the water is clear like the sea. A special mention to our guide, Ivan, he is very prepared and helped us a lot with useful advices.

Great value for money and well organised, Andres was amazing, thanks so much. Only issue being the coach was freezing cold overnight from Cusco to Puno (Peru).

Had an amazing day exploring with these guys. Our guide Andres was fantastic! I speak almost no Spanish but his English was perfect, he answered all my dumb gringo questions and gave us loads of local tips. I'm in La Paz right now eating the peanut soup he recommended which is one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten :) If you do the tour, which I highly recommended you do, make sure and ask Andres for his peanut soup recommendation :)

My journey from Copacabana to La Paz was made especially pleasant because of the excellent support and hospitality of Emerson and Roxj. Emerson was an absolutely awesome guide. From the very beginning of the journey, he was warm, cordial, approachable, and extremely helpful. He shared useful information about the places we passed through and explained things in a clear and interesting manner. His knowledge, patience, and friendly personality made the journey much more than simply a transfer from one destination to another. He ensured that I was comfortable and well informed throughout the trip, and his professional yet friendly approach was truly appreciated. Roxj was equally wonderful and deserves a special mention. What impressed me most was her genuine willingness to help. After the journey, she personally accompanied me and dropped me safely at my hotel. She even helped lift and carry my bag, despite it being something she certainly did not have to do. Such small gestures speak volumes about a person's warmth, kindness, and commitment to making a traveller feel comfortable and cared for. The most fantastic bus journey. The booking was made easy and simple through wild rover hostel Cusco. The several tour guides that we had were superb but in particular Emerson who went above and beyond in helping us and giving us information and discounts for Bolivia. The bus itself was unbelievable comfy and very spacious. The tours were amazing it’s an amazing way of getting around.

We had a great trip to Copacabana ! Bolivia hop was very flexible and responsive. We were able to stay the night in Copacabana and take the bus back the next day, which I recommend doing. Ivan, our guide, was amazing. He made everything run smoothly, even with the bad weather conditions we had on the second day. I recommend you ask for him if you can.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and professional throughout the entire trip. He explained the history, culture, and landscapes so well, but what I appreciated most was how attentive they were to everyone in the group.

It was a truly adventure day, after crossing the border with Perù we had a nice lunch in Copacabana and then moving to Isla del Sol, with a nice hike and amazine viewpoints. We then headed to La Paz passing by Tiquina with the boat, a trip full of adrenaline. I really want to thank from the bottom of my hear our guide Xavier, with his energy and his passion he really brought this experience to another level! Super suggested.

Great for solo traveler's the journey is long but the guide Emerson was great at answering questions and making the journey interesting

It was a very well-organised tour, and everything ran smoothly. However, I felt there was quite a bit of downtime in Copacabana, where there isn't much to see or do. One option was to hike the Stations of the Cross, but that may not be suitable for many people, especially since the hike on Isla del Sol is already quite challenging due to the altitude. I think the itinerary could be improved by using that extra time to visit Moon Island (Isla de la Luna) or another nearby island instead of spending so long waiting in Copacabana. That would make the overall experience feel more worthwhile and allow visitors to see more of Lake Titicaca.

Andres is a great guide. Always present, giving helpful instructions, helping people, specially with an Italian gentelman that couldn't speak much English or Spanish but Andres used a translator to make sure this gentelman have the right information. Bus drive was great from La Paz to Copacabana. Such a great adventure crossing athe Strait of Tiquina with small boats amd the bus on flat floating platforms. The amazing views from the Andes Mountain range and the Titikaka lake. So beautiful colors and landscapes,I Loved this unique experience.

The guide Ivan was very attentive since the day before with important notices and tips, and especially during the tour, since when he picked us up at Airbnb and always guiding us during the trip on the bus and during the tours. Places are amazing and it's really worth the walk through the island of the Sun, but it's important to be aware of the acclimatization, because the altitude is also high. We were left at the door of Airbnb on the way back and for sure the attention, organization and kindness of the guide and his colleagues made all the difference. I recommend it for sure

I went on this one day trip to Copacabana and Isla del Sol on 29 March on my own. I booked at get your guide and the tour was with Bolivia hop. It was such an amazing day. Everything was very well organised and our tour guide Andres was very enthusiastic and he knew a lot. He was very organized and had great control over the group and made sure the whole day ran smoothly. He was very attentive and checked if we needed anything at all times. Also great that you could reserve lunch for arrival in Copacabana. Only thing that could be improved is that sometimes there was an overflow of information both in announcements in the bus and WhatsApp group. While I understand that it’s important to keep people informed, sometimes it was a lot of information so that participants were not able to see the wood for the trees. Maybe try dosing this a bit so people don’t miss the real important information in between all the other messages. But I really enjoyed and it was very well organized!! Had a great day. :-)

This tour was amazing, everyone was very kind and things were explained. Only advice: stay on Isla del Sol for a night! I wish I did after stepping foot on it. :)
