I really enjoyed this tour! My guide, Victoria, was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly patient with all of my questions. I appreciated how she took the time to explain not just the places we visited, but the history and cultural significance behind them. I especially enjoyed learning about Bolivia's history, its wars and their lasting impact on the country, as well as Andean spiritual beliefs, the symbolism of animals such as llamas, owls, and pumas, and traditional offerings to Pachamama. I also found the customs surrounding Todos Santos, funeral traditions, and traditional healing practices fascinating. There was so much I wouldn't have understood or appreciated had I explored on my own. I was also incredibly grateful that Victoria was able to accommodate me on such short notice. It was a wonderful introduction to La Paz, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Bolivia's history, culture, and traditions. Thank you, Victoria!

Excellent in-depth tour Went everywhere and it included 4 individual Cable car rides The guide was superb
Veronica was a wonderful guide. Very informative, sweet and friendly. We loved seeing the city from the cable cars. The views were fantastic!
Great tour guide, well worth it!
Short but informative tour around the main points of interest via cable car. The tour guide was very helpful Veronica was great
Great and insightful guide! Would recommend for a first day in La Paz to understand better the city
A really informative and interesting tour of the city and cable car system. Nico was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Answered all our questions and very helpful. We had a great time, thanks.
Very happy with the itinerary
Natalia was absolutely great right from the start. Her knowledge of La Paz, El Alto, the past and current cultural highlights, architecture and more was so informative and interesting. Can't recommend more highly, don't miss this.
I had an excellent walking tour of La Paz with Natalia. She was on time, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about both the history of La Paz and Bolivia as a whole. One thing I especially appreciated was that she didn't just point out landmarks, she explained their historical and cultural significance. She also took the time to show me how to use the Mi Teleférico gondola system, which was very helpful for getting around the city afterward. The pace of the tour was perfect. Even though I was the only participant that day, Natalia never rushed through the sites and was happy to answer questions along the way.
Nico did a great job explaining some of the dynamics that have shaped La Paz. The stops at the witches market and outside San Pedro prison were particularly informative.
This tour was one of our favourite activities in La Paz! Jorge was a wonderful guide who taught us so much about La Paz and Bolvian history in a short span of time. Exploring La Paz by foot and cable car was a great way to learn about the city as it can be quite overwhelming.
This tour was a bit lack luster. Learning about the spirituality and rituals in Bolivia in the Witches Market was interesting, but other than that I don't know that doing this tour gained us much beyond what we could have gained from a self-guided exploration other than maybe a bit of convenience and safety. The price is quite cheap so I guess it's fine, but then you need to factor in tipping the guide. I think I would have preferred to do a more expensive tour that incorporated more of the city and had possibly a more lively and interested guide.
We went on the La Paz walking and cable car tour with Nikko, our guide. The tour was excellent and we highly recommend it. Nikko spoke excellent English, was very clear and he told us so many interesting things about the history of La Paz, the architecture, culture and politics in Bolivia, past and present. He also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations and after the tour we felt confident to explore the city by ourselves. The cable car ride was exciting and we travelled on several of the lines. Thank you Nikko.
Given this was my first time in Bolivia, I was looking for an interesting history/walking tour the day after arriving. This was a great experience, everything went as planned from the group meetup to exploring the markets, learning the history and culture, and navigating the cable cars. Nikko was a great guide and offered additional tips getting around and learning about La Paz on my own and other attractions in Bolivia to visit.
This city walk is highly recommended. Our guide Nico showed us important landmarks while explained the Bolivian society and culture and some historic highlights. Hearing about how indigenous traditions and habits affect daily life was particularly interesting. Nico took good care of the group and guided us safely through the sometimes hectic traffic. The ride in the cable-car systen was another highlight which gave us an excellent overview of the city and some amazing views. We also visited a gallery with original pieces of art that you don't find in the usual tourist outlets.
Nice way to see La Paz. Guide could be more enthusiastic.
Saw places l wouldn't have known about. Gave great stories about the history of people and buildings. The rides on the gondolas were fun
It was a good tour, seeing lots of sights of La Paz and El Alto, from both the ground and the air (in the cable cars). The views from the cable cars were great - snow capped mountains and we were lucky to have beautiful sun on the afternoon tour on the cable car down from El Alto. The guide was generally good, with interesting information. The tour started quite abruptly without much friendly introduction or personal touches, but we got to know each other better later on. It was great that they sorted the cable car tickets and helped guide you through the stations. The TripAdvisor description / 'What to expect' sections could be updated or made clearer that they may be example routes, as we didn't use a minibus through El Alto, the yellow or green lines or visit the stylish south. Maybe the minibus would only be on El Alto market days (Thur and Sun) but I didn't understand this from the description. I was looking forward to these parts as we had already ridden many of the lines we took on a separate experience. Overall, it was a good tour. You feel safe and looked after and we learnt lots more about La Paz.
Natalia was a great guide! She was very informative, pleasant, and helpful. La Paz is such a unique city, and the teleferico cable car system is amazing, so experiencing it with a guide just makes sense. Half the time was walking and half the time was riding the cars. It gave me the assurance I needed to follow up the next day and do all of the colors on my own, which was so much fun! Highly recommended!
Nikko was an exceptional guide! He provided so much education on Bolivians culture, history and politics. He did so in such an engaging way where I never felt bored (like other tours i have done). He also helped us purchase things in the market and showed us how to navigate the cable cars. He even passed on more information for our visit to La paz after the tour in a what's app group. 10/10 tour i would recommend anybody choose this company and ask for Nikko! Best guide I've ever had.
Natalie was very helpful and had good knowledge on the city's history. The cable ride had some great views of the city.
Great way to get introduced to La Paz. combination cable car tour and walking tour is a great way to get oriented with the city, geographically and historically. Jorge was a terrific guide. Def recommended esp if it’s your first day in la paz
A great way to get a feel for the city. Witches market and the cable cars. Natalia was great, very friendly and knowledgeable.
Our tour of La Paz city was excellent, we learnt so much about the history and culture and really enjoyed seeing the city from the cable cars. Natalia, our guide was lovely and so helpful.
Really good guide. Made sure we all got onto the Cable Car together. We went all over the city including seated info at the witches market. The tour included the Cable car fees. For us the highlight of La Paz. Thank you.
This tour is bilingual. The guide repeated the same thing in Spanish and then English. It doubled the time of tour without doubling sightseeing. We took 4 cable rides, but 2 would suffice to see the city. Overall, the tour is unnecessarily long.
Guide was very good at explaining the history and culture of La Paz and the people that live here. We started in the city center at St Francis Basilica, toured the area and viewed the city from the gondola’s.
Excellent overall sites of the city! I saw a variety of sights with interesting and informational dialog. I would recommend to everyone!
Exactly as advertised. Walked around to see some of the sights including the Witches Market and then went on 4 of the 10 cable car lines to get an overview of La Paz.
Veronika was a delight, very knowledgeable and patient. We were a group of 9, half kids. I have to keep writing to make the 100 word minimum. That’s a weird requirement, TripAdvisor
Natalia, the guide is very knowledgeable and gave a great tour. A great way to see the entire city and ride different cable cars.
The guide was nice and really sweet, and trying her best but she didn't give us much information - just walked us around different areas. Also asked for tips at the end which was weird.
A mix of urban tour, politics, socio-economics of the city, as we traversed above the various neighbourhoods, in what's now the largest teleferico system in the world. It gave us a glimpse of how connectivity plays a great role in bridging the wealth gap. To be able to see the panorama of La Paz surrounded by the snow capped guardian mountains, is an added perk. Please bring layers as it does get windy in some of the stations at a higher altitude. The guides were with us in the cars on all rides
We went on this tour with Luis, and absolutely loved it. You get a very good taste of the city, by looking from a perspective. Luis is very professional, we didn't notice how time flew even though we were tired. Keep doing what you are doing, you are the best!
Very informative and extensive tour for three hours. We discussed a lot of history and covered a lot of landmarks. It was very efficient and engaging.
Great Tour! Great way to view the city from the sky! Consider doing the whole grid probably a day long but worth it! Must do in La Paz
We really enjoyed our walking tour experience. Luis was a great guide, very enthusiastic and he was happy to answer people's questions. The tour who was very informative and a great way to see the city. The cable car ride was great, amazing views. Would highly recommend this as a walking tour.
Great way to see get familiar with La Paz, and get around on the cable car network. Marcia was knowledgeable and friendly.
Luis was an excellent guide and gave us lots of insights into Bolivia’s history, culture and politics. It was not easy to climb some of the uphill streets but that’s the nature of La Paz.
Marcia was fantastic and very cool person. She shows us every part of la paz city and we feel very confortable and safe. Thank you again for that special day!
We had a great tour with Luis we would highly recommend this tour as an excellent and safe way to explore La Paz when you first arrive.
We had a great tour with a great guide: Marcia took us to different spots in the city and to el Alto, riding the cable car. During the the trip and at the witch marquet, we got insights in the Bolivian culture and in the recent history. We had great conversations and really enjoyed the tour and presence of Marcia. The tour is great for everybody who wants to get an introduction to La Paz and to Bolivian culture and enjoys a good and interesting company.
An incredible tour, my guide Luis takes time to explain and care about his small group. He is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend to do that tour with him. Its been my highlight of La Paz. The Teleferico is an awesome experience too
We really enjoyed our tour with Luiz and learned a lot! It ended up being just the two of us so we were able to ask lots of questions about the places we visited and the history/politics of La Paz. Luiz was a wealth of information and super friendly. We walked around the Witches market, rode the cable cars to El Alto and then walked through the colonial area. Would highly recommend for an intro to La Paz, 10/10!
Natalia was a great guide. Cable cars were a great experience and easy to navigate. Excellent tour, highly recommend
The guide Natalie was so informative and i learnt alot about Bolivia. We also stopped in a local place for a local snack which was delicious. There were 8 of us in the group and she explained things in both English and Spanish. Riding the cable cars was great. The whole outing gave me more confidence to continue exploring La Paz independently. Thankyou very much!!!
I had a great time on the tour yesterday. I had just arrived in La Paz that morning and wanted to see some of the city. The walking tour was great, and the cable car part gave some amazing views over both La Paz and El Alto. Our guide Luis was very knowledgeable and friendly, and I had a great time! I think it’s a good value for money tour as well.
I really wanted to love this tour - normally I love female tour guides. And maybe she was having an off day. She was on her phone a lot, very inattentive, she got her backpack strap stuck on the turnstile of the teleférico - and yanked it as I was coming through - causing it to jam into my leg and case a very serious bruise - with zero apologies. Toward the end of the tour she basically said “now it’s time to give me tips, they help me a lot” and waited until we all pulled out money - extremely uncomfortable. At one point she stopped to buy a snack and I thought for sure she’d say “oh guys, try this, you’ll love it” but she just started eating in front of us. It was a nice way to see the city, the cost was low - but really left a bad overall impression sadly. .
We got in around 4 hours a very good overview about the two cities La Paz and El Alto in an excellent English. We were 18 persons with two excellent guides.
