Great tour! Sayo’s enthusiasm was contagious, and we learned so much!
Had an awesome experience at the samurai tour with our guide Lina. Lina was very detailed at explaining the samurai era and ways of samurai. The tour ended with a shuriken practice which was also fun. 🤩 Thank you!
Nana was a great tour guide. It was a fun and informative experience. Learned more about samurai and ninjas. Wish there was more info on Ninjas.
Nana was amazing, super fun experience
13:30 slot Yuki was an excellent tour guide. Very professional and engaging. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience
Hiro was a good and informative guide!!
Lina is a perfect sensei xxxxx
Explains Japanese history in an easily digestible way
Lina was an excellent tour guide 🥰
A very interesting museum with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend visiting!
This Samurai museum tour was great, our guide was engaging and made the whole experience a lot of fun.
Very Nice a lot of energy with our guide Sanyo. Interesting and interactive
Happy and god experience ,discovered new information of stories of samurai, great guide
Really good museum and tour, good value. Lots of items on display, very interactive, great guides ( our guide was Iwa ). Only negative thing to be aware of is the tour group sizes are much too large. We were like 30 people. 15 people would have been more reasonable. Also, be aware, the tours are not very academic, but more geared towards entertainment/kid friendly. This is not at all negative, but something to keep in mind! Over all good value and worth a visit especially for mixed groups. Not just for people with a interest in hiatory.
Mae’s explanation was great! Informative tour
This was a really fun, engaging, and informative experience with a lot of very cool relics. Our guide, Mae, was engaging and made the experience a lot of fun. We got to hold weapons, try on helmets, and throw shuriken at targets. It was great!
Expansive museum with many authentic pieces- katanas, armour, weapons, and historic pieces. Very knowledgeable tour guide.
This was a nice way to spend +/- 1hr in Kyoto. I loved seeing the armor pieces and swords of Samurai. Our tour guide, Lina was very sweet and really knowledgable. It was nice to learn about his period of history from her! At the end of the tour we even had a chat with her and she recommended some local spots to visit around Kyoto. 10/10 would recommend and when we come back to Kyoto we will surely come back to try their other experiences. Ps: The gift shop sells actual swords from the edo period!! And also replicas which I wish I would’ve been able to bring home.
Shizou was an awesome guide. Very informative, fun, and professional. All the gear and graphics were amazing. The interactive shiruken throwing experience was so much fun.
Ma ma was informative, fun, interesting and very helpful in taking us through the samurai museum, we got to hold real weapons (blunt) wear a real samurai helmet and take samurai photos. Though I will admit the shrunken toss competition was my favourite. A+ would highly recommend as a new to japan english friendly part of the itinerary.
Excellent short tour. Short but detailed and our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. She was very personable and upbeat. Fascinating displays and history.
Very fun and informative, had a great time!
Very entertaining history lesson. Ken was lovely guide.
This tour was a great experience. The guide spoke English very clearly, and moved at a good pace for such a large group. It’s a little fast to read all the plaques, but you can go back through the museum afterward to go at your own pace.
Shizu was a great tour guide, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit
Excellent guide (Rin). Very friendly and explained a lot of history.
The basic tour was perfect for kids (9 and 6), the guide was engaging and got the kids into the stories and the shuriken throwing was a great way to end.
Sayo has been incredible with her tour, storytelling and energy! I reccomend this experience!
Ryo was a lovely kind guide. Interesting hands on tour
This was such a great museum and tour! Awesome experience && a great tour guide, Aya . Aya was great and enthusiastic! I would come back with my son.
Excellent experience, Kei was very well spoken and knew her history and retold it without being boring. Kids there seemed to really enjoy it. Ninja star throwing at the end was a lot of fun.
Shizu was very informative and enthusiastic as our tour guide. There were lots of authentic items on display and the interactive experiences really surprised us. Definitely worth it.
Great experience! Aya was great!

Fun and informative experience for whole family
Our guide Mami was very informative. Enjoyed all the museum exhibits.
Our experience at the Samurai Ninja Museum was brilliant from start to finish! We came in from out of the rain and were welcomed with open arms immediately! Our guide, Lina, was fantastic… so friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very entertaining. She made the experience fun and interactive! Our family (and the rest of the people in our tour group, really enjoyed the ninja shuriken throwing, as well as the opportunity to dress up and become samurai, and pose for photos! All in all, a great wet weather activity, but to be honest, it would have been great rain, hail or shine. Thank you Samurai Ninja Museum and a big shout out to Lina, our awesome guide!
Great tour on a rainy day. Loved learning about Japan's history with our fun tour guide.
