By far the most memorable ande enjoyable day of our Japan holiday. Daiki is a great guy, we loved hearing everything he had to say. So very knowledgeable, kind and funny. The day was comfortable, the pace was perfect and the tailored choice of areas to view really makes for a great experience for anyone taking the trip. The cost is more than worth it. We cannot recommend this enough to anyone who is thinking of doing this. This is guaranteed a perfect day. Thank you so much Daiki. It has been an honour meeting you.

The sanctuary of wild deer! You will be amazed to see so many wild deer relaxing in nature, in the temples, on roads and almost everywhere, not scared of people at all. What's interesting is that this park has been a national park of Japan for 1400 years, designated by the emperor. So even though it's right next to the downtown area of Nara, nature is primeval and the atmosphere brings you to ancient periods. You'll be guided with many information about Japanese deer and also with enough safety guidance to hang out with the wild and sacred animal.
Osaka Castle has been the most iconic symbol of Osaka for more than 400 years. The truth of the samurais, the founder Shogun's story and history behind the castle counted as one of the 3 most beautiful castles of Japan. The castle around is a park loved by local Japanese people, especially on cherry blossom seasons. Don’t forget to bring your camera! *Not going inside of the castle tower because it's just a museum now
A beautiful Japanese garden composed of a few distinctive areas covered by seasonal flowers and trees, and Japanese representative mosses which shines all seasons. You'll be also guided to the traditional style buildings harmonising with the garden and learn the unique philosophy of Japanese art style, Wabi-sabi, explained from the knowledgeable guide.
American village!? But this is not for Americans but for Osakan Youngs. The atmosphere is like "Shibuya" and "Harajuku" of Tokyo got combined, so cooler! All the good nightclubs and gigs are here!
Todai-ji Temple, the biggest historical wooden architecture in the world with also the biggest Buddha statue sitting inside, is the most important Buddhist temple to Japanese people to 1400 years. You'll be explained so well about its dramatic history and all the meanings of each statue with deep insights into Buddhism and Japanese culture. You will touch the essence of Buddhism with your eyes and ears by visiting here on this tour!
"Akihabara" of Osaka, a town of electronics and animes! More concentrated than Akiba'
Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi area, is the most famous, iconic and crowded of all Osaka, known for the "running man" sign, the riverside with full of fancy neons and the longest shopping street of Japan The energy of Osaka is here
This is Osaka! The symbolic street of Osaka with unique shops and friendly (drunken) people where you can taste famous Osaka street foods. Try Takoyaki (Octopus balls) and walk the lively street with fancy billboards.
The most crowded shopping arcade in Japan where you can see "the river of people", comparative to Shibuya Crossing
This is the deepest spot in Osaka, the so-called "red-line district". You will be so surprised by the prostitutes with school-uniform costumes on, waving hands from very traditional Japanese houses. The area's history will be well explained by the guide NO PHOTOGRAPHS if you don't want to get killed by Yakuzas protecting this area!
The top 3 greatest bells of Japan, the loudest bell of Japan, 1300-year-old bronze bell located in the middle of Nara park has been rang by a monk every 8 pm, but never gets hit on target because it will sound for 3 days!

We had a wonderful experience on our Nara and Osaka tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. He shared so many interesting facts and stories, making the entire experience both fun and informative. We really enjoyed our conversations with him, and he made the day even more memorable. Highly recommend
We had an incredible day with Daika! This was the tour to really be able to authentically experience Nara and Osaka. We enjoyed the beautiful sights, interacting with the deer, Osaka nightlife, delicious local food, and conversation that really put us in touch with the cities and everything we saw and experienced.
Excellent value to cover highlights of Nara and Osaka. Comfortable and clean van. Daiki was excellent, friendly and talking about life in Japan. He took us to a meal with Japanese curry that was out of this world. I strongly recommend for folks with little time in the region.
We had a great time with Daiki! He tailored the tour according to our needs and we enjoyed exploring Osaka and Nara deer park with him!
Although we didnt have the best weather, we had a wonderful tour with Daiki. He kept in constant communication with us before and during the tour. Explained the culture and history of the area thoroughly. He was very patient with our questions and has an awesome personality! Would recommend it 100%¡
We were amazed at how many sites we saw in just 7 hours: Nara deer, a fish art museum, Osaka skyline, Osaka Castle, Dotonbori street, dinner, and more. Daiki was an informative guide, and customized the trip to what we wanted.
Daiki is an excellent tour guide! I booked a solo tour and truly appreciated the accommodations for vegan dinner option, and tailoring the tour to my preferences. The BMW Mini Convertible was comfortable and perfect for a solo tour. Daiki is very friendly, and made me feel comfortable as a woman solo traveler. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed the places that we were showed. Unfortunately, the guide continued to vape while outside the vehicle. Also, the ten hour tour ended in a little over seven hours.
Our tour with Daiki was absolutely fantastic! The cost of the tour was a deal for the level of flexibility and customization he offered us - Daiki was happy to work with me on which areas I wanted to see with my family, and how long we spent at certain places. He's also a fabulous, funny, and friendly tour guide who provided tons of interesting facts about the various spots we visited that felt way beyond the generic "tour guide" experience. I know I'm really talking this tour up, but it was truly one of my favorite experiences in Japan. Highly recommended!
We have traveled all over the world and Daiki was the best guide we have ever had. He is very knowledgeable and made sure we understood what we were seeing and its relevance to Japanese history and culture. He was also very pleasant to be with and I will highly recommend this tour.
Had a really lovely day overall. Everything was well organized, and we managed to see all the main spots without feeling rushed. Daiki was very easy to talk to and shared interesting bits about Japan along the way, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It just felt like a relaxed, well-paced day with good company. Would definitely recommend this tour
I booked this tour because I wanted someone who would be able to show us around Nara and Osaka with a pickup/dropoff from our hotel in Kyoto. We enjoyed the customizability and were able to do a lot on our trip including feeding the deer in Nara deer park (+ summit visit), taking pictures of the Osaka castle, visiting Dotonbori and Shinsekai in Osaka. The Sakura season was a great time to visit! We enjoyed sampling different types of takoyaki and kushikatsu. Our tour guide Daiki was knowledgeable about many topics (Sakura trees, landmarks/temples, modern Japanese culture). I enjoyed talking about Japanese food and I think my husband enjoyed talking to Daiki about Japanese politics and policy making. This tour is perfect for those who might find the streets of Osaka too overwhelming on their own, or those who might not want to deal with figuring out the train/bus from Kyoto. I found the tour to be very relaxing and peaceful which is what I wanted out of an Osaka/Nara trip. Thank you!
Request Somei. His English is great and he is very laid back. I took hundreds of photos and he rolled with it. He also knows the best places for food and photo spots. I highly recommend the tour with this tour guide.
Daiki is a bloody legend, very knowledgeable about his city and its hidden gems especially if you ask for a good Japanese curry as we did. He’s a good laugh, friendly, punctual and chatty Fantastic tour, the deer were amazing, Ōsaka castle stunning and Daiki being very flexible was able to cater for what we wanted
We had an absolute blast with Daike. He was punctual to picking us up, led us on a great tour with lots of good info, and was just overall fun to be with. Would definitely recommend
Daiki is super knowledgeable about Nara and Osaka! My guest and I managed to see places we probably wouldn’t have found ourselves. Definitely recommend booking this tour if you’re trying to get a full day tour of Osaka, Nara, and/or Kyoto.
Daikin was a friendly and informative guide. He is accommodative to our revised itinerary. Gave good explanations of sights. Suggested the best ramen , chicken broth or seafood -chicken broth. Both were so delicious. Highly recommended.
We had a great day yesterday with Daiki, he was funny and knowledgeable, We got to choice were we went for dinner and a few interchangeable options to select from for the actual tour depending on your interests, we would definitely recommend.
Daiki did an amazing job of showing us all around Osaka and Nara. He made it so enjoyable. His knowledge is great, and his ability to show us his city made for a great day!
Excellent! Really good guide - with understandable English. A very good recommended itinerary, and tailors it as requested. Did keep up a quick pace which was perfect for us. We were two couples. The van was clean and comfortable.
It was one of my best tour guide. Daiki has explained every aspects of this tour so profoundly and passionately that we could picture up the ancient Japanese culture and traditions. I would recommend 100% to everyone else who seeing my review. He time management and flexibility are the key component of this tour. Thanks Daiki and surely we will book you again.
Daiki was a really excellent and knowlegable guide. He is punctual and reliable. As he is a local, he knows the area very well, including the back streets of Osaka! I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with Daiki and can recommend him to others spending time in beautiful Japan, wholeheartedly.
The tour great. Our guide Daiki was very knowledgeable about Japanese history and culture. The activities are flexible, informative and fun.
Daiki is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend the tour. The tour covers a lot of attractions and very flexible.
We had a great day and a lot of fun on this tour. We were staying in Kyoto. We were able to see the deer in Nara, the Great Buddha, and highlights of Osaka. As we traveled the guide provided us to many insights about life in Japan. He took us to a local restaurant in Osaka for the best ramen of our trip.
We had another awesome experience with our tour guide, Daiki! He did a great job explaining the cultural and historical significance of attractions in the area. Our trip to Nara was so cool getting to pet and feed the deer! We enjoyed visiting the shrines and temples. Highly recommend.
Daiki did a great job providing commentary and explaining all that I was seeing. He was flexible in customising the day to cover what I wanted to see. Had a vast knowledge of Osaka and Japan. I would recommend Daiki for all of your Osaka/Kyoto tours. It was a wonderful day and finished it off with a fantastic dinner of eel.
Our guide Daiki was the best and showed us a wonderful time. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would suggest this tour to anyone visiting the area
*A little late on the review but still wanted to write it* This was definitely one of the most enjoyable experiences I had while in Japan. Daiki is an awesome tour guide and very knowledgeable on a variety of pieces within Osaka and Nara. From the beautiful views of temples and shrines to the stunning sightline of the castle and walls lining the Osaka Castle, Daiki provided insight and historical information to make the trip that much more enjoyable! Ending the time with a nice dinner, this was an incredible experience and genuinely enjoyed the time spent, even solo, talking and learning about the Culture that Daiki loves so much. I absolutely recommend his services and tours for anyone going, regardless if you're solo or with a family.
Our tour guide was great. He was on time, and worked with us on our own itinerary. Was very knowledgeable on history of Osaka.
We booked a day trip to Nara with Daiki Fukashi (WadaFTours) and he was amazing. He customized our entire trip to our interests. He provided enormous insight and was extremely knowledgeable about shrines/temples, customs, architecture, and culture. He was very professional and polite. He even recommended a local sushi spot, that turned out to be one of our most authentic meals. Overall do not hesitate to book with Daiki Fukashi (WadaFTours) it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
This is the best tour for covering Nara and Osaka in a day. The Nara experience was just right without being rushed or too long and boring. Next was Osaka which made a lot of sense as it is a short drive away. I would have preferred 2 hours more at Osaka just to have a wholesome experience. Felt a bit rushed but no regrets as the convenience and quality of the tour was worth it. Daiki is an awesome tour operator and guide and we had a pleasant experience with him. We wish him good luck.
It was a wonderfully memorable trip to Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto! Daiki, with his deep knowledge of the area, showed us hidden gems that made the experience truly amazing.
I would highly recommend this tour. Daiki was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable about Nara and Osaka. The Deer Park in Nara was excellent.
Very good tour with a very informative guide who speaks fluent English. The tour will take you to all the key sites, and you will try local food too. We recommend this tour .
.......... Daiki is a great tour guide. Highly recommend this tour in Osaka & Nara. Well worth the price. .............
We were picked up by our guide Mr Daiki Fukashi nearby the Nishiki market Kyoto, he was very prompt on time, then we went back to our hotel in the Gion district to pick up our 2 big sized luggages and hand carry. The 7 seater van was very comfortable. We could immediately immerse into conversation about the characters depicted in the Shogun drama series. It's remarkable how Mr. Daiki could engage in deep conversation and navigate the roads between Kyoto to Nara and Osaka. We visited the Deer Park, Todaiji Temple and Giant Buddha and instead opted to drive up to the mountain top for a city view. We then drove towards Osaka and talked about the various industries of Japan. We made a stop to visit the grounds of the Osaka Castle , was introduced to Dotonbori and American Village with a brief stop and he introduced us to several other We were given 7 dinner options and chose the Japanese Wagyu self grilled beef which was absolutely delicious and cheap. We took the option of the dark tour to drive by the red light district. We were dropped off at our Osaka Hotel in the evening at 9pm. It was wonderful to have a warm car to return to because it seemed to be freezing that day even in Osaka. Mr. Daiki is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and able to organize tour to walking ability of some members of the party. We enjoyed having in depth discussions, conversations about Japanese culture, history, economics, outlooks, habits. Even before we started our tour, Mr Daiki introduced several restaurant recommendations for what I was interested in eating, in Kyoto and Osaka. He gave a tour that made my trip to Nara and Osaka memorable. Thank you, Mr. Daiki
Daiki was a great tour guide and had a lot of knowledge about Nara and Osaka. Before taking us back to our hotel, he took us to a ramen place which was delicious. Would highly recommend if you want to see these places from the inside of a car
Most personable and flexible tour guide. Knew the areas better than any other locals I have talked to, and definitely a fun person to be around. Understood what we wanted and asked us what we preferred.
Brilliant day spent with Daiki, he was a great host and really looked after us all. A wealth of knowledge shared in a fun and easy to enjoy atmosphere from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone.
Great driver and guide. Had a fantastic trip. The driver was on time and knew his way at all of the locations. Had a great experience and a really good suggestion for dinner and we arrived back to our hotel on time. We would highly recommend the trip and driver.
I had my doubts about being able to do justice to Nara and Osaka in one day. But my wife and I had only one day free left on our itinerary. But we decided to give it a try. And we got everything done that we wanted. This was our second day with Daiki. The day before we did a great private tour of Kyoto with him. During the Kyoto tour, I began to relax because I had every confidence that we had found the right guide to make Nara & Osaka happen together. I simply described what kind of experience we wanted and left it to him to fulfill the details. We wanted a minimal walking overview that would give us a feel for the country. And that’s exactly what we got.
Fantastic afternoon / evening with Daiki. Lots of communication before we met and we were able to tailor our day to what we wanted to do… if you want a day that covers what you want to do, this is the tour for you! I cannot fault the day at all and we would like to thank Daiki again for a great day with lots of recommendations.
Had a fantastic day with Daiki, he was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to take us to many great locations and explained the historical significance of each area. Would highly recommended this tour to anyone who is looking to explore Nara.
We had an amazing tour of Nara and the deer park. It was relaxing although quite busy. The deer are very tame and friendly. As well as an extensive tour of Osaka we viewed the city from the council building viewing area. Osaka castle was magnificent.
We had a brilliant day. Daiki our driver listened to all our preferences and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable with the tour. Car was spacious enough for tall guy like me.
Enjoyed our afternoon with Daiki. His English was excellent and he explained the history and context of the sights during the drive to the sights. He accompanied us to all the locations and made sure that we purchased the correct entrance tickets. He was punctual and professional and the car was spacious with good A/C ( a must during the summer!). We spent most of the day in Nara at the deer park and Todai-ji temple. Then we drove to the park near Osaka Castle (didn't go into the castle though cause it was quite a trek) and then to Dotonbori, the heart of Osaka's hustle & bustle. Highly recommend!
Daiki, our tour guide, is a highly responsible person who always responded to my questions promptly. The tour was well-planned and thoroughly enjoyable. Daiki is very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and provided clear and comprehensive explanations that enhanced our understanding. The tour was both fun and enriching, making the experience truly memorable. I strongly recommend this tour—it’s well worth the money and time.
I’m sorry for the lateness! Daiki Fukashi was an excellent tour guide of Osaka. He drove a very nice van and drove us to numerous spots. I especially liked Nara Park and the friendly deer. His choice of restaurants was on the money! Everything was reasonably priced. Thank you!
