Directions for pick up location were a little confusing. The tour, once we located the rickshaw and driver was wonderful. We saw a beautiful areas of Kyoto we would never have found on our own.

Ride through the elegant Nanzenji Villa District, a quiet area lined with traditional estates and seasonal beauty, before arriving at Nanzenji Temple, one of Kyoto’s most important Zen temples.
Journey through the historic grounds of Nanzenji to the striking Suirokaku Aqueduct, a red-brick structure from the Meiji era that beautifully blends Western engineering with Kyoto’s temple scenery.

Reviews
I wasn’t sure what a rickshaw ride would be like, but it turned out to be one of the major highlights of our stay in Kyoto. We had a couple options as far as where to go and we were inclined to go to the larger temple. Our guide suggested we go to the other temple, because it’s in a nicer setting, so we took his advice. Sure enough, we saw an amazingly beautiful part of Kyoto we would have missed. Would definitely do that again!
