Kyoto Night Taiko Drum Show Near Gion By Expo Performers

The performance was excellent. The energy and enthusiasm of the drummers was infectious. This may not have been as large scale as the Drum Tao performance, but they made up for it with energy and excitement. Well, worth the time.

Fabulous group of drummers. Great performance. Don’t miss it.

The whole show was extremely good. Very talented young performers,.! We loved it and wholly recommend.

Absolutely must see while in this area. Fantastic show full of energy. Professional and powerful. Highly recommend.

Awesome performance. Musicians were amazing. Highly recommend this performance. Excellent value for the $$.

It’s a powerful and exciting performance that everyone can enjoy regardless of language. I especially loved that guests can participate in the activities themselves. The location is also very convenient. If you’re looking for something to do in the evening, I highly recommend checking it out!

Great show with skilled drummers. The troup was interactive with the audience and had elements for every age to enjoy.

What an amazing show, absolutely loved it. Such a shame its a small venue plus only handful of people there, they definitely deserve a bigger audience. Remember you are going to an indoor drum event, so its very loud but it was great. A must see

This is a great show! A small production with high level performance. We stop by during our last night in Kyoto. Easy access to the location via subway makes it extra convenient. The show takes place in a small setting, so no large crowds. The musical performance is wort watching and is great for all ages.

BRILLIANT! We absolutely loved the show. A highlight of our trip to Japan. Do check it out.

It was amazing drum show. I really enjoyed it. All performers were excellent.

We have just been to the 6pm show (07/07/26) and it was astounding. The musicians were excellent, and ensured a level of traditional expertise with audience interactions. The energy level was off the charts and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Thank you.

Wonderful show. Very energetic and nice play

Absolutely amazing! Cannot recommend more

Exhilarating performance by a group of talented drummers…I laughed, cried, was mesmerized by the theatricality and transported through time to the battlefields of ancient Japan simply through the power of music…this is a Kyoto must!

Best Drum Show in Kyoto. I recommend it.

Amazing Experience. Great performance! If you are in Japan Kyoto you must go and see their performance. We have an amazing time!

We loved this show - it was amazing , interactive , and super close to Nishiki market to break up the day. 6 minute walk back and forth from Nashiki. Highly recommend

Very unexpected, so great! High energy, incredible performance!

Very entertaining and kind performers

This show was Amazing!!! Must do. My teens boys said this was spectacularly!!

Fun, whimsical, a magical experience! You can tell they really love their craft and enjoyed what they do.

Amazing show. High energy. Loved it!

We found this show by accident and decided to book it on the go, needless to say it was one of the best decisions I made while staying in Kyoto; when people visit Kyoto they go to the usual places like Inari shrine and Bamboo forest, but I'd recommend adding this show to your itinerary when visiting.

We loved this experience!! The musicians are so talented and passionate. Feeling the powerful drums in such an intimate setting is an experience that will stay with us for a long time. A real highlight and highly recommended.

It was exhilarating!!!! Such an incredibly tattered group of musicians. The power, presence, passion is off the scales!!! This by far is the most genuine experience I had in Kyoto. Every seat in the theatre should be full!!! If time allows I’ll be back! Incredible!! I felt the drums move my body, it was so powerful.

Absolutely amazing! The musicians are so skilled and their drums take you away to furious Samurai Battlefield, tranquil Bamboo Woods and lively ancient markets. Their Show was simply awesome and highly recommendable!

The drummers' non-stop performance and enthusiasm were awesome! Totally recommend adding it to your Kyoto to-do list.

Very beautiful, intimate performance that showcased amazing skill and had a great energy! Loved it, would recommend and would go again!

I've seen great Taiko concerts before but none of them were as immersive and profound as this Wadaiko performance. I felt one with the drums and the rhythm. If I ever come back I will repeat the experience!!

This was a fantastic experience for family and especially kids. A wonderful show with high energy and excellent talent. Loved it.

We were so impressed by Japanese Drums Entertainment EN! They were incredible musicians! We recommend this program to everyone. You will definitely love it. This show is magical!

A perfect recommendation to experience Japanese Cultural Music through Taiko Drums! The sounds, vibrations and rhythms surround the compact space which is worth watching and feeling!

That was amazing!! You must visit here, if you are in Kyoto!!

Incredible show! The musicians blew us away with their energy and spirit. We enjoyed this from start to finish and it was perfect for a family evening together. Thank you for a great night!

A wonderful show, amazing coordination and control. Definitely worth seeing

Fantastic spirited performance. Definitely worth the show!

We have experienced Taiko in America. But, this show definitely takes it up a notch! Great fun for the whole family!

This experience was amazing! We booked it same day and so happy we did! The performance was energetic and fun! It was. Only 45 minutes but absolutely worth it

Very good show with various drumming techniques Like the flute added in Amazing choreography

Fantastic drumming from 6 drummers men and women which was a lovely extra! Great performance

Incredible Performance was really outstanding

That was Awesome! Drums Galore From a New Yorker who has seen a lot of Broadway. This was amazing.!

This was a high energy, fun show. The performers were absolute experts and amazing musicians. I highly recommend it!! We were on the fence and so glad we went!

The seats was full. Everyone excited watching the drum musical and the Humourous drama in between. My kids were really enjoyed the show and laughing alot (sorry for the noise). The band personal were also really kind during photo session. One of my favorite moments in Kyoto since living here for around 1 year now

This was super amazing! Definitely one of the best highlights in Japan. The smile of the performer just made me smile and they made my day! all the performers seems to be having so much fun and it was really really really a great experience! I hope everyone don’t miss it out! 🥁❤️

I was most happy and lucky to meet this show! Taiko drumming was incredibly energetic and inspiring, and I still remember the surge of emotion I felt. It’s exciting entertainment, but also a chance to experience genuine Japanese culture and long-established traditions. The strong rhythms seem to wrap around your whole body, and the deep drum vibrations echo through your chest. Each strike made my heart pound, and I lost track of time as I became fully immersed in the performance. Seeing the performers put their passion into every movement was stunning, and at times the audience could join in, which made it even more enjoyable. If you visit Kyoto, this is something you shouldn’t miss. Hearing taiko live is truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!

It's a wonderful and fun show set in an intimate venue. Great for the whole family! I especially enjoyed the interactive portion when audience members are invited on stage, as well as the lion dance. It's a must-see in Kyoto!

魂に響くエネルギーに溢れた演奏が良かったです！ぜひみんなに聞いて欲しいです！ Your performance was full of energy and truly resonated with my soul! I really want everyone to hear it!
