This was one of the nicest things we’ve done in Tokyo. It’s just under an hour and our bowls came out so cute. If I had more time I probably would have done two! They even wrapped the bowl for transport later. Our expert was very good at explaining the process and very encouraging.
Shawn was the perfect sensei during this workshop. He explained the process clearly and went above and beyond in speaking about the history of kintsugi and wabasabi - I asked him about some other Japanese history as well and he was able to be incredibly insightful on that end too. He gave me some feedback during the process to ensure I had the most beautiful end product. I may have said “I appreciate you” at least 10 times and it’s true - I had the best experience and it was all because of him. This is a great way to come home with a beautiful and unique souvenir and with a bit more knowledge. Shawn, if you’re reading this, you’re the best!
Fantastic instructor, knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommend this experience of kintsugi making. A beautiful piece of art to take home.
Everyone was passionate about kintsuji and out instructor Mikito was friendly and willing to talk with us about his own experiences and laugh with us.
Had a wonderful experience making chopsticks and trying kintsugi! A special thanks to Megumi and Miki, who were both incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the sessions. They spoke English with us, making the instructions easy to understand and follow. They also guided us every step of the way, making the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Japan!

Very good and memorable experience
Kintsugi was an amazing experience, I would’ve never thought it would be so calming and peaceful! I had the chance to learn about wabisabi, the art of appreciating broken things, because just like in life there are scars that remains and we have to live with them not as a shame, but as an experience that should be treasured like gold! This experience is definitely one of the best experience I have this tour! Would Recommend! 5/5!

A very beautiful experience to try; fantastic staff, friendly and very good at doing their job; they involve you a lot and explain everything perfectly. Absolutely a must-try.
It was my first kintsugi experience, and I enjoyed it while chatting. It's very easy to understand and seems like anyone can do it, so I recommend it. And it was cheap!
The price was cheap, and it was my first kintsugi experience, but the staff were very kind, and it was fun and really great!!
Besides walking through the beautiful places, doing this kind of repair, it was an experience that made me feel the culture and have direct contact with something very symbolic, it was very good.
