It was a great tour and very informative. Our tour guide Takto was great as well, he answered all our questions and even helped us take pictures along the way.
Value for money with the guide. SAYA was very polite, attentive and explained everything methodically. Great experience thanks to the guide.
Takto was amazing and very informative. He gave us a lot of the history and customs regarding shintoism and Buddhism and how both religions existed in japan as well as current information about how these practices still glow through the culture today. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience!
Amazing experience! This tour deserves a bit more credit: quite an extensive coverage of history of the temple, its symbolism, all in a small group setting (private tour for me). My tour guide Kai was also incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable and answered quite a lot of the questions I had!
I participated in this tour as a first-time visitor to Fushimi Inari Shrine and Kyoto, and it was a wonderful experience. Akiko was my guide, and since I was the only participant at the time, she was able to give me a very personalized experience and patiently answer all of my questions It was fascinating to learn about the history of Fushimi Inari shrine, as well as the stories, cultural significance, and architectural details behind the shrine. As a history lover, I really appreciated having the opportunity to learn about the shrine beyond simply visiting it as a tourist. Akiko’s knowledge and explanations made the experience much more meaningful and memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in Japanese history and culture
A wonderful and informative experience. If you want to learn some history about the shrine and culture of Kyoto please take the tour
Never deal with those people. Came twenty minutes earlier too meeting soot. Bo one came. No group no guide. Phone not answering. Trip Advisor kept us thirty minutes more onn the phone to cancel Total loss 1 hour twenty minutes under scorching sun. Never ever deal with those people.
Amazing tour and very sweet tour guide
This tour was very informative, charlie was very helpful and knew all the answers to our questions
Kazumi was a great guide and gave us a lot of insight during our tour and she did a great time leading us through the crowds
We are from Spain and were on our honey moon. We started our journey in Japan at Kyoto. We bumped up with the tour stand searching for goshuin stamp. I am very glad we did it because it was a very good way to introduce ourselves into Japan's traditions and Shinto. We felt very welcomed to participate into the rituals and had a very special place near the Kagura dance. The guide also showed us good spots for pictures and made good recommendations for eating at Fushimi Inari Tori path. Thanks a lot to the tour guide, she was really kind and instructive.
It was a revealing and learning moment.
Excellent Tour with Akiko. Very informative.
Good explanation as well as knowledge
Fantastic tour made even better by our fantastic guide, Akiko!
Very informative and insightful tour by Masako, who spoke excellent English and answered all my questions about the shrine
Akiko was a wonderful guide and knew so much about the different areas of the shrine. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
Akiko was very informative and we now have a much better understanding of the Shinto shrines and especially of Fushimi Inari shrine. We joined this tour via the desk directly at the shrine which we found well worth doing as it made the experience much more meaningful. Thanks to Akiko.
Akiko was an excellent guide, highly recommended
Kazumi was wonderful; very nice and informative.
This was an amazing tour, especially since I was the only one who signed up. It was a pretty hot day but company provided me with a cooling towel and a bottle of Pacari Sweat to stay hydrated. Masako was very knowledgeable and went out of her to way to answer any odd questions I had. We were also lucky enough to catch a Kagura while it was happening, and was able to watch it up close.
Very kindly visit, guider and amazing history for an ocidental tourists
The tour was great. Akiko was very knowledgeable and thought us so much about the shrine and culture of the area. I would recommend!
Kazumi is great guide and great experience for the money it more than worth
Great guide! Keiko showed us things we never would’ve known on our own!

It was very thrilling and serene experience. The guide was very good, it was an engaging and informative experience. Highly recommended to everyone who wishes to understand and experience the culture and traditions of Japan and the shrine in particular.
Great tour. Lot of insights into Japanese culture and history.
It was wonderful and informative!
Very good experience! Could get a feel of the culture and history of kyoto and the temple. It was crowded but not in a way to affect my experience. The guides explained the cultural and religious meaning of the different rituals, buildings and places.
Good experience, nicely guided and explained.
We visited Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrince with a group of students from India. The students had the opportunity to tour the shrine grounds while listening to the guide’s thoughtful and detailed explanations, and to attend the solemn Kagura dedication ceremony. This tour provided a deeply immersive educational experience far beyond mere sightseeing. Highly recommended to anyone looking to understand the depth of Japanese culture!
Extremely helpful guide and explanation of the temple... will take again if I return
The experience was great, I loved it. But the duration I felt was a little too short. Maybe it's because there was a communication gap between us and the guide(language or interaction wise).
It was a wonderful experience and very informative. We learned a lot about Japanese culture and associated practices as well! The tour guide along with the rest of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was overall a very fun experience and I would recommend it to anyone visiting in the future~
I felt the intense history and culture behind the Fushimi inari shrine. I got enlightened by the tour guide very well and I look forward to more trips like this. If I would rate the experience in a single sentence then it would be " Celestial sun and moon met at the shrine that day !!". I just felt that length of visit was a bit less, if I could explore more then it would have been more memorable.
Akiko San was our guide and she was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. We were very glad we ended up doing the tour - we got much more out of our visit!
It was a great experience of the Shinto ambience in the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. The guides were very experienced and knowledgeable about the shrine and all its aspects. The visit was 2 hours long and worth it! Thank you.
