Kyoto Chopstick Making Class With Engraving Option

Super fun, interactive experience. I did this activity with my 12yr old (his pick!) and it was a blast.

It was amazing!!! Tara, the lady helping us, made it very easy, and ( somehow) helped someone with the hardest wood! You get ALOT of options, and then you get to carve the wood, into a chopstick shape! When your done, you can choose whether you want it square or circular. If you do fully circular, ( you can just do the bottem circular and the top not, then you can.) Then you can't put the engravings on!

It was amazing. It’s fun, the cost can be cheap or expensive. It’s depends about your budget. They give us a lot of choice.

It was a really good experience. Kengo was a very kind man and helped us the whole way through. The price for adding your name and emojis to your sticks was well worth it. Overall a great time, I highly recommend it to anyone, even if you won't use them back at home.

We had a great time with Shirin who was our guide for the experience. It was for about an hour. It wasn't too costly. We chose to use the easy wood because both of us were unsure of our skill level but with her guidance they actually turned out alright! It's a fun little experience especially if you have kids. We saw a bunch and they had fun! Highly recommended!

The experience was amazing and flew by. Filip was an awesome guide and was extremely helpful and friendly! It wasn’t too loud or too quiet inside and made for the perfect summer afternoon activity for a family on vacation . This experience was perfect for tourists, locals, and everyone in between. In just one hour, we made memories and really cool chopsticks that we will be able to use forever!

We had a wonderful time making chopsticks today with Filip! It was the perfect activity for a family and you get to leave with a memorable keepsake. While we were working had a great conversation about Japan with Filip as well. You can engrave anything you would like. Kids 12 and 15 loved it too!
