Hiroshima & Miyajima Tour From Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto, Fukuoka

Minori and yuki were great, it was a really contrasting day between the morning of real sadness and humility from the museum and tour of the main bomb site to the myiajaima island which is beautiful. Nothing was too small and they were really helpful.

Minori was delightful. She shared lots of interesting facts not only about Hiroshima but Japan in general. She had a great sense of humour. We enjoyed our day.

Good value for money. The trip was well planned out and the company provided excellent direction for meetups for tickets. The lunch was really tasty. I wish we had a little more time at the peace park and museum. I would recommend

A lot of good information and no one got lost

Great day exploring Hiroshima and Miyajima. The Peace Park and Museum were very moving. Miyajima was beautiful, would have liked more time there, but the tour was wonderful and information filled 🙂

This was a well organised tour of the Peace Dome and park and Museum, followed by the ferry to Miyajima Island and visit to the shrine and view of the Otori gate. Tour Guide Akusa was very professional and efficient and communicated well to the group the travelling instructions and the commentary as we passed by the landmarks in the bus. There was also plenty of time to self-explore on the island and to get refreshments.

I highly recommend the Hiroshima & Miyajima tour it was one of the highlights of our visit to beautiful Japan.. We were met at the Osaka Shinkansen (Bullet Train) station by the tour guide who made sure we all got to the correct platform. A 120 minutes later after seeing the Japan country side zip by at over 180 miles and hour we arrived at Hiroshima Station and met by our guide for the day Azusa. Azusa was one of the best tour guides we have ever had, so informative about what we are seeing and the history behind how Hiroshima was the chosen for the bombing. During our travels between stops she gave us insight of what it's like living in Japan and had the most amazing sense of humor that had us all laughing hysterically. A great lunch of Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki is provided before you take the ferry over to Miyajima Island to see the the famous torii gate which appears to be floating during high tide. You an also visit the nearby shrine, shop and eat in the small village and see the many Sika deer which call Miyajima home before you go back to the train station for the relaxing Shinkansen back to Osaka.

Our guide Miyuki was really good, and there was enough time at each place. A well paced tour. Would definitely recommend

The trip to zhe shrine and island was great, but we had not enough time at the peace museuem. In addition we started 1 hour later than announced when we booked . The visit to the famous garden was cancelled and we werd not informed in advance. We wanted to see the garden......

Ease of meet up from Hiroshima with local guide accompanying you to the specific train. Hiroshima meet up with guide easy as well. Local guide with Hiro and her assistant were closely available to a big group. Hiro was fun informative and so polite. Group efficiency for various activities and regrouping. Excellent day trip. Made all fun and wonderful by a wonderful guide and assistants and driver.

Great tour and guide but more time should have been allotted for the Hiroshima museum. We only spent ~45 minutes there.

Great experience with Hiro, easily to find in Kyoto station just near Starbucks. We visited Hiroshima museum and Itsukushima shrine. I got the train at 07:40 and arrived back into Kyoto at 20:20

Really lovely guide (Hiro)! Very informant moving trip, a must for anyone visiting the area. The food was great as well and accommodated for my dietary requirements (vegan)

Our guide Azusa in Hiroshima was excellent. Very good information during transportation. Transportation was a little hectic. I went to get a snack before the Shinkansen in Kyoto and when I returned my wife and a couple others had gotten on the wrong train but they were able to figure things out and eventually rejoin the correct train. There was clearly a miscommunication between the agent at the train station. Meeting point at Hiroshima station could also have been communicated more clearly. I also did not feel there was sufficient time at the museum at Hiroshima.

AZUSA was just amazing! We were skeptical going on another Viator tour because our previous tour guide in Busan was not good at all, but she was amazing. She was at the meeting point one hour before, kept the group of 45 together and explained everything in detail. We got so much information at the Peace memorial park, she answered all our questions and she is funny! Everyone on our tour agreed she is amazing! Lunch was also very good!

We had a great time on the tour. Our guide was very funny, kind and informative. We loved every moment and will definitely return next time we visit Japan. Thank you for the amazing time.

Great way to see a lot in one day. Guide was funny - very well organized. Audio devices helpful in crowded areas with a lot of noise. My only complaint was the timing - it seemed we arrived at the Hiroshima museum at exactly the wrong time - line to get into museum and main exhibit were long, many school groups arriving, and I noticed no such line on the way out. Not sure how to resolve this though.

I joined tour from Osaka so I need time transportation from there to Hiroshima, 1.5 hrs with JR pass. The time meet point is too tied so I need hurry. Tour guys introduced clearly, overall that tour is good and sightseeing is beautiful.

Our guided tour of Hiroshima Atomic Bomb site and Miyojima island was absolutely fantastic. We were given so many insights into all the areas we visited and given ample of our own time to explore and decide what to do on top of the guided tour segments. Our guide was so charismatic and friendly and made the experience one to remember. Highly recommend for a day trip to Hiroshima.

This H.I.S tour was a very enjoyable day. Our lovely guide was very knowledgeable and provided a good amount of information around the history of Hiroshima and Miyojima Island. We also appreciated being able to have our own time to explore the museum and the Island at our own pace throughout the day. It was also reasonably priced considering this cost includes lunch, transport and admission fees were included. Would definitely recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time! Chikako was a great guide who used humour and a lot of information to boot. Hiroshima and the museum are harrowing but important. Miyajima is an incredible island with a great brewery and wonderful population of deer (you should NOT feed!) The had blissful weather which aided a lot in providing us with wondrous views. Thanks!

Lunch wasn’t great but the tour was informative and enjoyable. We were able to go on our own at Miyajima which was appreciated since there were a bit of walking.

Very well paced out trip...very convenient and well organised

Trip was very smooth and timely. Guide was informative and approachable. Peace museum was packed to the brim and it became a challenge to enjoy the displays. Miyajima was breathtaking and the floating shrine was a scene not to be missed.
