Our tour guide was wonderful. Joe, he was just great. Even though it was raining all day, he managed our group effectively to get us to Miyagima and then to the Peace Park in Hiroshima. He brought a personal touch to the tour, being a lifetime resident of Hiroshima. HIS is the tour company and we had seats provided for the Shinkansen from Kyoto, the Ferry to Miyagima, and the bus transportation throughout. More time for the Peace Park museum would have been nice, but I’m not sure where to find it. We’ll have to come back…and hopefully we get Joe as our guide again.

Loved our guide Jo. Learned a lot from him.
Really enjoyed the day, very well organised
Minori, our guide, was very informative and attentive. She kept the group on time and added A lot of local color about the Hiroshima area.
She was well knowledgeable. She provided valuable information.
This was an excellent day. I didn't know anything about Miyajima Island - just saw it as an add-on to my intended trip to Hiroshima, but it was an interesting and enjoyable start to the day. The tour of Hiroshima though was moving and well laid out. Akie was an excellent guide. As a local she was very knowledgeable. But she was also engaging and personable and her personal story added to the day. A very moving trip - seeing what man's inhumanity to man can result in.
Our guide AKIE WAS AMAZING !!!! This tour is essential to a Japanese itinerary it is a must see and experience.
A well organized trip from the beginning to the end. A very impressive assistance at train station connecting points. The tour guide and the driver are very friendly and helpful. Although it was a long day but the pace was well set. For us, it’s a better decision to join the tour that eliminated the stress to do it on our own especially in a busy tourist season.
Best tour guide in Japan! Super sweet and very informative and I loved that it felt personal which made the experience more impactful and memorable.
Excellent day out and our tour guide she was brilliant, very helpfil and informative, would highly recommend this tour and company.
Tour guide was very informative and taught a lot about the culture and history of the sights we saw.
Great tour guide. Knowledgeable and well organized. Well planned day trip. I would recommend this trip to everyone
This was a FANTASTIC tour. Minori our guide was hilarious, thoughtful and very knowledgeable. We appreciated the balance of being guided and free time. This was a unique cultural experience and well worth the exhaustion at the end of the day. FYI, the directions for taking the train from Osaka were easy and flawless!! We highly recommend this tour!
Really enjoyed this tour, guide was a friendly local so very knowledgeable of the area. Inclusions were great, thankful for a lunch upgrade after the non-lunch group did not have enough people to run. Tour length was good, though unfortunately museum entry coincided with school groups and cruise tours so was very crowded and hard to navigate meaningfully. Really enjoyed Miyajima island, though the tide was out while there so the effect of the floating Tori gate was not quite as exciting. All in all a good way to quickly see the major sights.
Minori - our guide was fabulous! It was a great tour to see an overview of Hiroshima’s sites.
The tour was amazing and very thoughtful it was really good seeing the history really puts things in perspective. The only thing is the meeting point maybe having them with a sign or a plushie we can see. The actual tour guide Minori we met with later in Hiroshima was amazing very knowledgeable and welcoming!!!!
The tour was so very well organised and our guide Emiko was excellent, very knowledgeable and personable. She allowed plenty of time at each of the sites was warm and kind throughout. Highly recommend. Thank you Emiko🙂
The experience was really good and the tour guide was amazing with her knowledge. We learnt a lot from this trip and would like to visit the city again.
This was a fabulous tour! Minori was an excellent guide, very attentive to detail and full of interesting history and facts. We liked the mix of guided time and free time and especially appreciated the clear and easy to follow pick up and drop off instructions at the train stations. The itinerary was perfect.
Meeting place was very easy to find once we arrived from Shinkansen for our day trip. All entry fees to locations were included with the tour package. Miyajima was a very magical place but was very crowded as it isn't a very big place. Tour was kind for giving everyone drinking water and listening devices. Miki-san also made good recommendations for food and the island also sold interesting souvenirs. The Hiroshima Peace Memorial was very informative and well laid out for everyone to experience accounts of victims and survivors. Some things I would suggest is more frequent head counts right before entering attractions, and to have spare batteries as some of our listening devices were flat when we arrived at the peace park. All in all a very wonderful experience!
Miki was really friendly, gave us enough time to rest and she even help us collect the stamps. Totally worth it.
Our guide, Azusa, was wonderful! She shared so much great information throughout the day and made the trip special for all of us. A couple of people in our party were seniors with some mobility limitations, and she made sure that the walking pace was okay for them and went out of her way to find spots for them to sit and rest (there is a lot of walking on this tour; most of the sites had accessible ramps and some escalators/elevators, but the accessible routes were sometimes a little out of the way—our guide kindly waited for our party to use these and then rejoin the group). Visiting the Peace Memorial was powerful—it was a moving and thought-provoking experience. It was helpful to have the tour organize bullet train tickets/dropoffs, ferry rides to and from the island, and bus transportation in Hiroshima. We only had 1 day available to see Hiroshima and it would not have been possible without this tour, which made logistics and travel so simple. We did not choose the option that included lunch but did enjoy free time to grab food and explore on the island (note- there are limited options for seating at most of the food venues on the island—most are kiosks with standing space, and foot traffic is very heavy, as the island is a popular tourist destination; our tour guide kindly directed us to the visitor center in the middle of the shopping district where we were able to sit and enjoy the takeout that we picked up along the way). Overall, it was a great experience!
The tour was excellent. Micki, the guide was fantastic. The day was the highlight of our vacation. We highly recommend the tour.
the entire tour was really good & the tour guide, Azusa, was so funny, and joyous the entire time. she was super helpful, and the tour, although a bit long, but was enjoyable. the fees wise, would advise booking early to avoid paying extra on the Shinkansen.
My wife and I attended this tour on our honeymoon in Japan. Azusa was our guide, she was amazing, professional, kind and informative. Not to mention, she’s very funny. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and everyone.
Joe was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about Hiroshima and provided some personal stories about his family and the people of who were impacted. The tour easily facilitated the train to and from Osaka.
Loved the trip to Miyajima and the opportunity to reflect on the effects of the atomic bomb and nuclear proliferation. Very sobering. Would have appreciated a bit more time at the museum as there was a lot to take in. Our local guide was very informative.
Azusa was so very knowledgeable, gentle and generous in her nature when speaking about the horrors experienced by the A bomb. She managed to lighten the mood before and after visiting the Hiroshima museum and prepared us for the emotional part of the tour. She was so entertaining, we loved it! The driver was the best driver in Japan!
Azusa was an amazing guide! She shared many tips and facts along the way. She shared history respectfully at the memorial park. The tour was great and an amazing way to learn about this important part of history as well as learn about Japanese culture. Meeting point was a little difficult to find but we left with enough time to be a little confused and still arrive early. I highly recommend this tour and planning on arriving early to prevent as much of a hassle as possible
Azusa was an excellent guide. Very funny and work very hard throughout the tour. Very talkative and we enjoyed touring with her.
Azusa is a great and funny tour guide. The entire tour was well organised and very smooth. We had little trouble finding it and were entertained during the tour.
Great guide and excellent organization. Everything ran smoothly
Very good tour. Our guide speaks very good English and handled the tour professionally.
Good experience and explanation by Joe.
Hiro was our guide for the day and she was full of knowledge and a great sense of humour. The tour was well run and of appropriate length at each stop. Although lunch was included it would have been nice for an alternative meal option for picky eaters! Would absolutely recommend to family and friends
Really good experience! Everything was on time and we got to explored a lot.
A very Somber day. Thank You for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Very nice day trip to Hiroshima. Learned a lot on the monuments but also on the Japanese culture thanks to our wonderful guide. Would definitely recommend
Joe Was great he was super nice and very knowledgeable.. He was helpful when needed.. My family had a great time and learned so much
This tour provides an excellent balance of exploring Japanese culture and fostering an awareness of the sobering history of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Our guide Joe did a good job of keeping us all organized and on schedule.
Trip was awesome! Too much to see and fun things to do.
Kaori was an excellent guide and gave us interesting insight and information about each place on our tour. The day was really well run and was definitely value for money . Fast train ride was incredible. Thank you Kaori
Everything went exactly as planned. Hiroshima is a profound poignant statement on human ingenious destructive potential. And yet an equally profound statement in the resilience if the human spirit. Mickey our guide made it special.
Great experience and very organized. Anlot of beautiful scenery and history. A definitely must do.
The overall tour was greatly enhanced because of our tour guide Joe. His knowledge and personal family experience in regards to Hiroshima was indeed impactful. The visit to the island was also very interesting again due to Joe’s knowledge of the are.
Our guide Kane, was enthusiastic during the whole day,We learned a lot about Hiroshima and Miyajima ,the tour was very well planned everything went as planned. Thank you very much for this experience,We"ll keep this memories for ever.
It's an amazing tour! We got all including tour except for lunch. An agent met us at Osaka train station, very easy to find, accompanied us to the train and our full day guide Joe met us after exiting the train station in Hiroshima. The smart part of the trip was that we first went to Miyajima Island by ferry to see Torii ref gate in the water because later the water goes away and the gate will be on the sand. Unless you wanna go to restaurants and see night view, the gate shrine is definitely more impressive during the day. Lunch on the island is amazing because it's known for large pacific oysters and lots of clean restaurants and street food. We had over 2 hour free time to go around shop and eat. Later we went to Hiroshima for history
Good experience. The guides were so nice and helpful. Meeting/pick up was painless and everything was taken care of after that. There is free time built in which allows for a bit of shopping, eating, or just relaxing somewhere. The only negative would be we don’t get a whole lot of information/history, but that’s a personal preference and may be different for others. Overall good experience, worth the money, and a good way to see Itsukushina/Miyajima Island and Hiroshima.
The scenery was very beautiful, but it was hard to understand the guide. So we didn’t understand everything properly. But it was a beautiful day!
Very interesting, unfortunately very crowded due to the silver week
