Itinerary

THIS WAS AN AWESOME TOUR!. The guide was knowledgeable about the area. Took time at all the best spots. Took us everywhere and saw everything in the area. I would give 6 STARS !
The tour is easy. Enough history, too keep it interesting but . Hugo our guide is great, open to answer all kind of questions related or not to the tour. I'm sure I'll join the tours for Osaka and Kyoto. As a solo traveler I ought my photos with the deers to him as well. ARIGATO
We had an excellent tour guide called Ayumi she was so informative explaining the history behind every place we visited . All the places we went to were so beautiful and breathtaking I can recommend Ayumi and Kyoto tour 100%
It was an amazing tour, full of authentic moments. I would highly recommend people experiencing this tour.
Our tour guide did not show up! We waited an hour at the pick up area and tried several to contact the tour operators with no response !
it was a private tour that we were informed about the day before. we really liked this. That way we could ask a lot of questions. Cem explained everything very clearly, also knew a lot to tell. Got a lot of nice information about Kyoto. About history, culture and food.
Koki was fluent in English and knowledgeable with Japanese culture and tradition. We went to a few interesting places, I wish we could avoid the most touristic spots and get to see some "off-road" real and hidden local sights. All in all a very nice tour.
Cem and Reyna did an amazing and engaging tour, they told us about the traditions and history of Kyoto. The were friendly and made everyone be involved in the tour!
Cem was a great t guide! I recommend him 100%. Ours was a free tour with only 5 people and it was totally worth it. Thank you!! 😊
We had a great walking tour with Reina & Sem. They have a lot of interesting information to share and good spots to show. Highly recommended!
Reina & Cem Thank you both for guiding 20+ Guru walkers around the sights & experiences offered here in Kyoto on a beautiful sunny 23 degree day. The group were very engaged & happy to listen & learn all about history, culture, language, the structure of society from centuries ago up to now. Thanks very much Dave & Trish from Australia.
A wonderful, relaxed tour, taking in a lot of the key areas of Kyoto. Cem was kind, thoughtful and knowledgable, and very happy to answer our questions. A perfect introduction to the city, and great route. Highly recommend to start your visit to Kyoto. Thank you.
Jordi is amazing! We took the tour in Kioto and Osaka, he did a great tour and he is so kind. It’s obvious he enjoys it. Moltes gràcies Jordi!
Im not sure if the tour was called city of dreams but it was a walking tour of Kyoto which was very good because it covered A LOT of ground from Gian to other parts of the city. The tour guide Cem (pronounced Jem) was very friendly and interactive and kept everyone in the group engaged. It was time well spent.
Great walking tour of Kyoto, Cem was very friendly and engaging and I would recommend this as part of a visit to Kyoto. Our group had a great time.
Hugo has a lot of knowledge and he’s very friendly. He is glad to answer questions and it’s all with humor We enjoyed the tour!
The tour was amazing and our tour guide, Hugo, was incredible! Very engaging, informative, and super fun. Hugo is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming!
Cem was excellent. We had a great tour. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. Because there were only three of us, it was like a private tour and we all got to know each other. He was very interesting. Would be super happy to get him as a tour guide again
We wanted to start our visit to Kyoto with a tour of the Gion area. There we had the opportunity to meet a lot of people from other nationalities, as well as our guide, Cem. Cem has been living in Japan for some time now, and it was very interesting to hear the experiences of a westerner immersed and adapted to Japanese culture! With him we were able to enjoy more than two and a half hours of visit in the streets of Gion. It was an extremely hot and difficult day, but Cem did an excellent job finding the perfect balance between explanations, time for pictures, questions, and group activities to make us feel engaged. Without any doubts, I recommend visiting Kyoto with him. Personally, if I ever return to the area, I will do my best to have him as a guide again.
Three of us ended up on a private tour with Cem, which was amazing. Not only did we learn about the sights we visited, but also got some insights into different cultures. I'm glad I followed Cem's advice on some additional sights to visit. And my personal favorite was a great food place he recommended: Sagan. Thank you!
CEM was very sound and shared tons of cool facts about the city. The excursions was around 3h. Definitely recommend when in Kyoto!
Our guide Zem was phenomenal. We had a private tour with him, and he really made it something special. Zem knows so much about Kyoto, and he kept us hooked with all these cool stories and facts. He gave us a real taste of Japanese culture and food, sharing his personal experiences that made everything feel so real. He was super patient, never rushing us and happy to go over time just to answer our endless questions. It was a blast hearing his unique take on the area. We learned a ton and had a great time thanks to Zem. We highly recommend him for any of your tours.
Cem was an amazing guide, told us a lot about Kyoto and gave us a lot of super useful advices! It was my first day in Kyoto and I was a little bit lost, it was super helpful
Michael was polite and engaging. Maybe he learned what most of their guests want to know and most of the guests don't know anything about Japanese history, but my friends and I noticed what he said wasn't true sometimes. We enjoyed the tour regardless. He took us to Chion-in first. It was beautiful and not crowded surprisingly. Going to Kiyomizu-dera was a hustle because of the heat and crowd. Anything you do in the Japanese summer heat would be a hustle.
We did the tour Geishas and Maikos with Michael. He was very kind, friendly and informative, telling us lots of interesting details about the history and life of geishas. And then he also recommended places to dine or have a drink in the area. Thanks for everything, Michael!
I joined Cem’s tour and he is so nice! He was my English teacher and my German friend came to Japan that’s why I joined his tour. His guide is great. He teach us a lot of things even I don’t know as a Japanese. And there have some conversation time with other tourists so we can share our opinions. It was a great time you should join his tour!!
Our travel guide was Cemさん It was a very entertaining and informative experience. It was definitely worth the service. We learned information from Cemさん that u cannot find on the internet and that only local people know. He is a multilingual and entertaining person It was excellent💫🗾⛩️See you next year!
I recently took a guided tour of Kyoto, and it was truly great experience. Our guide, Cem, made the tour informative with engaging storytelling, and warm personality. His insights into the history and cultural significance of each location added a rich layer of context that I would have missed exploring on my own. He pointed out subtle details as well Cem's recommendations for local rooftop bar were spot on. We enjoyed a few drinks there after the tour. The dining recommendations were very informative as well. Thank you
Great walking tour of Kyoto with Cem. Informative and involving. Would certainly recommend for an introduction to Kyoto.
Amazing tour! Learned so many interesting things about Kyoto and Japan in general! Very recommended!! The guides were super helpful and kind!!

We had a wonderful walking tour in Kyoto, thanks to Cem who started our group on a refreshing walk by the Kamo river first. We covered so many of the key landmarks in our 2.5 to 3 hour Kyoto walk. Cem was so friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining, highly recommended!
A very informative and entertaining introduction to Kyoto. Heartily recommend as the start to a trip. Thank you Cem, for the great time.
Great experience and great guide, David. So much fun. Thank you very much for this tour and your advise after. 100% recomendado!

Cem is a brilliant guide who lives in Japan for a long while. He engages with the group first and feels everyone welcomed. It’s a fun and interactive tour with pop up quizzes and surprise gifts:) I definitely recommend it 🤘🏻 Cem Japonya’da yasayan bir tür.
