Make ramen from scratch, then eat the bowl you made as lunch or dinner. 1. Ramen quiz: your instructor opens with a short quiz on ramen's history and how it got its name. 2. Noodles: knead the dough by hand (it takes 100+ folds, and most guests lose count around 30), then roll it flat and cut it on a noodle machine. 3. Soup: prepare chashu and choose your soup base and oils. 4. Eat: assemble your bowl and enjoy it as a full meal. You'll leave with your bandana and a group photo with a QR code for the recipe. Vegan, gluten-free and halal versions are available at the same price: - Vegan: tofu instead of chicken, vegetable broth, spinach instead of egg and fishcake, vegan miso - Gluten-free: gluten-free soy sauce and rice-flour noodles - Halal: halal soy sauce and halal chicken broth Some versions have fewer topping choices. The master chef Sakura-san was very attentive and had fun and lively enery, along with Hero-san and Keiko-san who worked very professionally and had everything prepared. I was with my family and we all enjoyed a delicious ramen and had a wonderful experience! Even my mom who hates cooking liked making the ramen, and ofcourse eating it. Highly recommended :)

Today I learned all about Ramen. Never cared for it much until today. Iori was an excellent teacher and very enjoyable to be around. Not only did I learn about Ramen and delicious soup and spices, I also learned some important Japanese language and expected behavior in the culture. This was a very special experience for me. We heard this was a great class from other family members, so we booked it during our trip to Japan. I’m so glad we did because it was definitely a highlight. Our class guide Iori was so friendly and entertaining. Making the ramen was a lot of fun. But most importantly, it was delicious. We’d definitely recommend this class without hesitation.

One of the best create-your-own-classes I've ever taken and spoiler alert the ramen you make at the end is absolutely delicious 🤤!!! Our guide Hero was fantastic and so engaging with us by sharing the history and cooking process while also taking video and pictures of us.
Loved the entire process from learning where ramen originated from as well as Japanese phrases widely used when showing appreciation towards meals, etc. The fee was on the pricey side but I could tell that the ingredients used were of good quality. With that, I am satisfied even with the price and that I got to experience what it was like making ramen. An hour and a half didn't feel long but that was due to the expertise of the instructor making the workshop feel fun and engaging. Loved the experience overall and met some wonderful people. Thank you again for the experience~ ♡

I was sceptical of this class because I thought it would be gimmicky but it was so brilliant Sakura, our teacher was sooo good When I arrived and said I was vegetarian, alterations were made for me and everything was explained in so much detail The food was also soo yummy!
