My family and I spend a wonderful day with Juko driving around i the historical part of Kyoto. Since we are from Denmark and are used to bike a lot, we had plenty of time at very site, and we even had time to some little extra. Juko is a great guide :)
Akira was a fantastic guide - so friendly and knowledgeable. We had the best morning exploring Kyoto by bike topped off with a tasty lunch!
This experience was great! Akira was awesome and showed us some great sites and biking through the city was so much fun. Highly recommend if you want a fun outdoors day
Yuka was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, tailored the tour to suit me as it was a solo trip and her English is excellent.
We have had a perfect half day trip by bike. See a lot of beautiful temples and shrines. We got a lot of very helpful and interesting information about Kyoto, culture and religions from our guide Akira. It was very great pleasure to spent time with him . We want to recommend Akira to everyone to learn something more about this beautiful city!
Great experience, very interesting spots throughout Kyoto and great lunch. Would definitely recommend when in Kyoto.
Our tour with Yuka was an absolute delight. We love the way that she made us all feel at ease and was so passionate about everything she shared with us. She also allowed us to ask as many questions as we liked, and we have many. The bike tour was the best tour we’ve taken so far during our two week vacation in Japan and we can’t recommend Yuka enough. If you want a truly magical experience with a bike tour and even finding a hidden gem for lunch, you should book this tour!
Very lovely views. Well guided areas and well made traveling. They support well for safety on the roads and help taking pictures. Very amazing experience
Great morning tour on bike with a most helpfull, kind and experienced guide! Yuka had a lot of knowledge and humor! Great to do this on bike so we could see several remote locations and end with a tranquille lunch!
Wonderful and chill fay with super cool guide Ayaka. We went biking near the river, visited the shrines and Nanzenji temple, really nice area. We also passed through Gion in the morning and picked up a coffee at the convenience store. Super cool bike tour in Kyoto, highly recommend Ayaka!

This bicycle tour in Kyoto was really fantastic! Our guide Yuka was such a nice person. The tour was well organized and enjoyable from start to finish. Yuka is friendly with a very good sense of humour and shared a lot of interesting insights without overwhelming us. We had a good mix of popular sights and less crowded spots, which made the experience feel more authentic. Everything ran smoothly, and we always felt well taken care of. The route we took with the bikes was so beautiful and the restaurant at the end was also delicious. Overall, a great way to explore Kyoto—definitely recommended.
Our guide Akira was intrepid showing us the sites around Gion, temples & shrines. Worth spending the time to get to see the sites in a unique way
This was such a fun way to take a break from walking yet see so much of the city. Emi was our biking tour guide and she did a great job sharing information on the history of Kyoto -and answering our many questions! Emi also took us to a lovely traditional restaurant for an excellent lunch and to a local candy/mochi shop.
We had an amazing day with Akira. He was a very warm, enthusiastic and funny host who obviously has a great passion for showing people all that is wonderful about Kyoto. The tour was well-paced, with plenty of quick stops along the way where Akira would point out and explain key things - we found all of the history and information he shared with us very interesting and it is all things you wouldn’t know unless you were a local. We enjoyed delicious udon noodles for lunch with the locals in a beautiful little establishment. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and spending time with Akira learning about Kyoto, it was a great way to experience the city.
Woohee was amazing!! She was so kind, considerate, and informative. We had a wonderful time and saw and learned about some very cool temples and shrines! We also went to an adorable tea house and had some delicious food. Woohee was also kind enough to take our photo at each location (she was also the one who kept reminding us to take our picture! We were so in awe we would’ve forgotten and been sad later!) I would absolutely do this tour again! Thank you Woohee!!! 💚
We had an amazing time with Yuka! She was friendly and polite. She provided us with great information and always made sure we were doing well on bikes. It’s a great way to see Kyoto and where we went for a meal was very hidden away, very local. Highly recommend this tour.

I had a great day biking around Kyoto with Yusuke! I wasn’t expecting it to be a private tour but that was a nice surprise because I could go at my own pace. Yusuke was a super friendly and knowledgeable guide - he made sure I was comfortable throughout the tour. I got to see some beautiful temples, shrines, and river views, followed by a comforting lunch. It was nice learning about the local culture and biking around the city was a really cool experience. A beautiful yet intimate experience of Kyoto that included an education in its history, culture, and cuisines. Thank you to our amazing and knowledgeable tour guide, Yuka, for making this another unforgettable memory after visiting Japan!
This morning our English speaking guide Yukari took us on a bicycletour through Kyoto. We had a very good time. She told us about several shrines and temples and we finished with a very nice lunch: cold noodles. Which was very refreshing on this very hot day. If you plan a cycletour, ask for Yukari!
Amazing way to experience the city. Yukari was a fantastic guide; very knowledgeable about the area. We had a delicious lunch.
A great way to discover Kyoto! The best way to cover a lot of distance. We had a really sweet and friendly guide (Yukari) with excellent command of English. Starting out in Gion and the Kenninji, then along athmospheric backstreets to Nanzenji and finally the Heian Jingu Shrine. Beautiful! Remember to apply sunscreen and bring water!! Highly recommended!

Naru was a fantastic and very knowledgeable guide. He gave a lot of insights not only about the tour but about Japan and the culture in general.
Yuka, otherwise known as “Cycling by Yuka”, was amazing! Although there was a lot of cherry blossom traffic, Yuka kept our group focused on the UNESCO zen temples and provided us insight along the way. I would highly recommend this bike tour!
Yuka was AMAZING! She is very knowledgeable about Kyoto and the culture and made sure everybody enjoyed the beautiful day out. The lunch spot was incredible and the best was saved for last. Thank you!
