A great spot not very far from Kyoto station. We enjoyed having a good size space to spread out and the ability to do some laundry. The facility staff is very helpful and having some amenities available if you need them is also a plus. We enjoyed our time here.

I'll be staying here again on my next trip to Kyoto! Price was fantastic, service was second to none, and the 10-minute walk to Kyoto Station is perfect! It is also a 15-minute walk to the Aeon Mall. The hotel offers a wonderful opportunity to visit a few of the spots in the area through their shuttle service. I highly recommend it in the middle of your stay to give your legs a little bit of a break. The shuttle will bring you around to some sites that’ll save you time and money. Keiko is the most wonderful person at the front and so were the others. You sense a great group of team members that work here. The rooms are perfect for a family of four, you could probably sneak a 5th in their hehe. The washer dryer worked great. The bathroom and shower were terrific. We also cooked one night using the pots and pans after purchasing food from the mall, and last but not least, it’s a 1 minute walk to Family Mart. If this doesn’t sell you, idk what will. It is the most affordable location near Kyoto for the amount of amenities you receive. Mahalo to the Monday Apart Premium Team!
This apartment style hotel stay was perfect for my family of 5! Super spacious for Japan standards, in-unit laundry, kitchenette, and dining area. Amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste, coffee, tea, etc) can be picked at the reception counter. Family mart is within arms reach. Kyoto station is an 8 min walk. Kyoto Tower Sando food hall is a 10 min walk. So many restaurant along the way. Keiko was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout our stay. We accidentally booked the wrong month, but she came to the rescue and helped us sort everything out with kindness and professionalism. We really appreciated her support and would happily stay here again. Thank you, Keiko!
The cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. I gave it 2 stars, and I have stayed in 3-star hotels before that were still much cleaner than this one. There was also a very strong cooking smell as soon as we walked into the room, which suggests that many guests cook in the room and that the kitchen has not been cleaned properly. There was dust around the edges of most areas, and the utensils were dirty, so we had to hand wash everything before using them. The beds were also very uncomfortable, which I often find to be the case with accommodations that include kitchen facilities. On the positive side, the washing machine was very useful and convenient.
My stay at MONday Hotel Kyoto Airport exceeded expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the level of service stood out—and Nakano at the front desk truly made the experience exceptional. Nakano went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, from helping with extra towels to assisting with several other requests throughout the stay. What really stood out was his attitude—professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making guests feel comfortable. It’s rare to see that level of care and consistency. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and extremely well-run, but it’s the people that elevate it—and Nakano is a perfect example of that. Every interaction felt smooth and thoughtful, which made a big difference, especially while traveling. At this point, MONday Hotels has become my go-to whenever I’m in Japan. Reliable, high-quality, and backed by a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. Highly recommend, and a special thanks again to Nakano for making the stay memorable.
