We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo. Location was excellent with easy access to shops and restaurants. Breakfast area was small but food provided was good. When checking in it took a bit of time as the front desk was always busy. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Room service was good. On the whole a good hotel to stay in Kyoto. Walking distance to lots of major attractions in Kyoto. Would stay again because of its location.
I had an excellent stay at Gracery Hotel! The rooms were very spacious, bathrooms clean, and they have free amenities and toiletries for your convenience. You also can’t beat the location, right next to loads of restaurants l, shopping and arcades. As a first time hotel booker (freshly 18 lol), the check in process was super easy. I speak very limited Japanese and communicating with them was a cake walk. If you’re looking for a stress-free spot right in the heart of Kyoto, id truly recommend!
Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo is in a fantastic location if you want to be right in the middle of Kyoto’s shopping and dining area, with easy access to Teramachi Arcade, Nishiki Market, and nearby stations. The room was clean and comfortable, and I liked the modern Japanese touches like the well-organized bathroom amenities, lounge, and efficient layout. Breakfast also looked and tasted very good, with plenty of fresh options and some nice Japanese dishes. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that a few parts of the stay felt a little inconsistent, especially around room size and front desk service at times. Overall, it was still a very convenient and enjoyable stay 👍
The location was very convenient to our family. We had an 8 year old Thats loves the 7-11 store right next to the hotel. It was convenient for us to get her snacks and food after the stores are closed. We walked everywhere in Kyoto and this location makes it easy for us. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even deliver our luggage’s to the next hotel without any problems. Would recommend this hotel.
Overall, a really pleasant stay. The location was excellent. Incredibly convenient for the train station, night markets, shopping, and convenience stores, making it easy to explore Kyoto. The room itself was great value for money. It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and surprisingly spacious. I especially loved the wet room bathroom setup. The hotel was also very quiet, and having full temperature control in the room made the stay even more comfortable. I do agree with some other reviews that the check-in process felt more complicated than necessary, but aside from that, I had a great experience overall.
