Bart was great. Punctual, funny& made the day go very smoothly. The trip is fine to provide a brief view of the Tatras Mountains. The town itself is more touristy than expected but the mountain views were worth the trip.

Itinerary
Zakopane is the winter capital of Poland in the far south of the country, about 110 kilometers from Kraków. The resort is located at the foot of the Tatras and offers an unforgettable and spectacular view of the highest Polish peaks. Zakopane itself is an attraction with the famous Krupówki promenade, traditional buildings and ubiquitous folklore.
We provide pickup directly from your accommodation within Krakow.
The Gubałówka (1126 m asl) is a popular destination for many tourists who come to Zakopane both in summer and in winter. The lower station of the Gubałówka Railway is located in the extension of Krupówki Street. With a comfortable car with a glass roof, you can fully enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Tatras. The summit of Gubałówka towers magnificently over Zakopane.
At the Krupówki there are sophisticated premises, atmospheric highland restaurants, shops and institutions. There are also carriages and old wagons with Oscypek (smoked hard cheese from sheep's milk made in the High Tatras), Kiepe and Spitzen. A great place for tired mountain hikers. Even for those who prefer it more comfortable, Krupówki is the perfect destination.
The ski jump Wielka Krokwia in Zakopane is a well-known sports facility in Poland. It is a natural hill, located on a slope, literally between woods whose stands can hold 50,000 fans. Next to the ski jump there is a chairlift to the Wielka Krokiew.
Visit the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, one of the classic works of the Zakopane style.
Traditional Polish village with wooden houses.
After the tour, we'll drop you off at the same location where you were picked up.

I had a fabulous time on this tour and it was one of the highlights of my trip to Europe. The Tantra Mountains are absolutely stunning. I honestly could have spent hours just staring into them! It was fun riding up on the funicular to get to the top. Lots of food options and delicious soft ice cream. There is also a bathroom available as well. (Make sure to bring coins with you. I can't remember if you can tap your credit card or not.) We stopped at a cute town along the way and had delicious barbecue cheese and a shot. I wandered into the town of Zakopane a little but it was a bit too crowded for me so I ended up riding the funicular back up to the mountains! Serenity now! Our tour guide Peter was fabulous! My hotel pickup was right on time and Peter was interesting, professional and fun throughout our tour. I highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed!
What a great experience! Unfortunately it was foggy and we couldn’t see the mountains, but our guide Bart went above and beyond to salvage the day. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, professional, and friendly. When we go back hopefully the weather will be better and we will rebook with this provider! Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience with Bart as our brilliant guide! From beginning to end he provided interesting information about Poland and the region we were visiting. The trip included the funicular to view the Tatras mountains, Zakopane town centre and Shepherds Hut. We would definitely recommend.
Peter was amazing, he was really kind, really informative made the experience a whole lot better. We throughly enjoyed the trip as a whole. Would recommend!
The day was terrific! Our guide Tom was so easy going, charming and knowledgeable. Zacopane and the area are stunning and worth a visit!
Great experience. Beautiful scenery and Zakopane is adorable. Our driver David was wonderful, and provided us with a lot of information. He picked us up at our hotel exactly on time. A perfect day!
This was a fabulous trip to the mountains. Our guide, Tom, made the trip interesting and fun. The views were spectacular and the wooden town magical. Highly recommend this tour!
We had such a lovely day! Our guide was called Ivan, and he was excellent. We were picked up in a very spacious, scrupulously clean van and there were eight of us on the tour. Everything was carefully planned, and we enjoyed all of the stops very much. We felt the trip was excellent value for money. The mountains are beautiful. Thanks for a great day out!
This was a lovely tour with a very accommodating and kind tour guide. Connell? Unsure of his name but he was wonderful. Very fun experience.
Very interesting info on polish history and some great recommendations regards food and drink. Very friendly tour guide and super efficient.
Great day out at zapapane got picked up from hotel went on tour fantastic day and brought back to hotel
Tom was a fantastic guide! He was very patient with Spanish punctuality and siesta time. He always had a big smile on his face. He recommended great places to eat and was very attentive! A big hug to Tom from your Spanish friends Alejandro and company! 🎶Alejandro, Alejandro, Alejaaandro…🎶
We had a lovely trip to Zakopane! David our driver was very nice & polite. He made sure we had everything we needed and all of the information for our trip. Very clean & tidy van 👌 would definitely recommend 😊
Lovely trip all round, the pick up from the hotel was on time and communication was very clear. We had plenty of time to explore Zakopane so we didn’t feel rushed.
Very informative and enjoyable experience. we would highly Peters as your tour guide; he was reliable and a pleasure to be around. Thank you Peter
We were taken on a guided tour to Zakopane with Ivan and I highly recommend it! Ivan is full of interesting knowledge and ensured we had the best possible trip! The views of the Tatras were amazing. Definitely book this if you’re looking for a great day out with a great guide!
Quite a cramped minibus Guide was pleasant but very quiet and would have liked more details/points of interest. Zakopane worth a visit and cable car was brilliant Places we visited were great! Driver drove fast!
Tom was so passionate about sharing about the trip that make the trip event more interesting. Definitely a 6 stars for him for going beyond his call of duty
Our tour guide, Daniel, was excellent. Tour included pickup from our hotel. The stops along the way were well thought out. Daniel provided plenty of background information about the stops. The tour included 3 hours for Gubalowka and time for a walk in Zakopane. If anything, I would like a little more time there than the 3 hours allotted.
Great trip, very well worth time spent. Our driver and guide, Casper, did a great job. All of us had a great time and enjoyed the views.
This tour was very well organised, with the tour guide keeping in good contact through WhatsApp prior to the tour to confirm pick up locations, and during the tour itself. Mike the tour guide was very friendly, entertaining, kind, generous of his time, and regaled us with interesting stories about Krakow. In the mountains, it was very busy with loads of tourists. Many small stalls only accept cash so handy to bring along. Food and souvenirs are significantly cheaper up there than Krakow CBD.
Driver/guide very good and knowledgable. Interesting stops along the way and pointed out points of interest along the way.
Well organised with David who was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Cheese was good as was the vodka. Mountain View to die for. Perfect from start to finish thank you!!
A great way to explore the highland area of Poland near the Slovakia border. We enjoyed the range of activities and the free time to explore on our own. Ivan was a great guide. He shares his knowledge effectively, has great taste in music, and is fun.
I really enjoyed this experience. Our tour guide Peter was very good, nice, friendly, helpful. I recommend this trip for a quick trip to Zakopane and to see beautiful views from Gubałówka
Great trip. Peter, our driver was very knowledgeable and helpful. Lots to see and very different to Krakow.
Ivan gave us assurance and clarification before our trip to remove any doubt about pick up and timings, he remained this organised the whole day, keeping contact by wats app and giving us tips on there too! He was informative and took us to several stops and gave us enough time to explore on our own a lovely day trip and a friendly tour guide
It was a beautiful route, but it definitely wasn’t worth €75 per person!!!! We had scheduled a meeting with the driver at 9:05 AM, and we were already at the meeting point from 9:00 AM. At 9:10 AM, we contacted him, and he told us he needed four more minutes. Since I urgently needed to use the restroom, I quickly ran to my room, which was right next to the meeting point. As a result, I was three minutes late. The journey began, and while the route was scenic, the experience itself was underwhelming. Our first stop was at some wooden houses, where we only had time for a bathroom break. Then came the tasting experience, which was completely different from what we expected—just a small piece of cheese and a tiny glass of vodka in a small countryside hut. After that, we made a short stop at an old wooden church, and finally, we had three hours in Zakopane. On the way back, I unfortunately forgot a bag with some items I had purchased during the trip. I contacted the driver, but he said he couldn’t bring it to me. Instead, we could meet the next morning at 8:50 AM at a hotel near my apartment. When I woke up, I saw a message saying we actually had to meet at 8:45 AM, so I left home earlier. Unfortunately, I had GPS issues and kept losing my way. I was constantly messaging the driver to let him know that I literally needed just one more minute, but he told me he was leaving. I understand that it was my mistake to forget my bag, but I paid €75, and I find it completely unacceptable that he saw me running to catch him and still decided to leave. I feel like my money was wasted, and I could have spent it elsewhere on something far more worthwhile!
Wonderful experience. The whole area is breathtaking. Must be seen. We went when there was a lot of snow but I bet it’s just as stunning in the summer.
We had an amazing time booking this tour last minute for our last day in Krakow. The communication beforehand was brilliant and Kamil the guide was friendly, funny, informative and all around great from start to finish. We started with a visit to one of the wooden houses where I picked up a lovely handmade Christmas ornament (take cash!), then on to tasking oscypek and quince vodka (now addicted to oscypek 😂) and bought some to take home (cash needed again). Then on to Zakopane for the funicular ride which was amazing with the snow and views from the top. Perfect amount of time to go exploring, have food and explore the markets. We took Kamils suggestion of where to eat and we’re not disappointed. The views on the bus on the way to Zakopane were also amazing. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone debating it, such good value for money and you will not be disappointed. Thanks Kamil & to the lovely driver for a great day start to finish.
Our trip to zakopane was beautiful, brilliant guide, scenery fantastic, comfortable coach, excellent value for money
It was a great day starting with a stop in the quaint town of the wooden houses. The next stop at a shepherd’s hut and tasting the cheese and cherry liqueur followed by time in Zakopane to explore views from the mountain and walking through the town exploring its shops, restaurants etc. we stopped at two other highlights in the area before heading back to Krakow. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. It was a great day!
Michael was fantastic. We had a lovely day. He was very informative and provided us with great memories and experiences
We covered a lot of ground on this day trip, starting with a stop in the wooden village, visiting a wooden church, seeing the Tatra Mountains, and ending with some leisure time in Zakopane. Our guide Michael was very informative, funny, and easy to be with. I appreciate his flexibility and additional inclusion of taking the ski lift since the cable car was not working. We also lucked out with perfect sunny weather and great views of the changing fall foliage. Highly recommend.
Our tour guide Michael was friendly, funny and knowledgeable, giving us lots of recommendations in Zakopane and Krakow. Multiple things to see and do along the way. The weather was great so we had amazing views of the mountains.
Mike was amazing!!! He was personable and funny too! He made sure we were all set st each spot and was always available to answer questions. He sent us information and gave us some great ideas. 100% would book the tour again!!!!
The tour was worth taking and a good value. Our tour guide spoke great English, was friendly, and picked us up at our hotel promptly. We had just the right amount of time in each location. The only reason I did not give this five stars because I thought our destination was a bit touristy, but that is not the tour’s fault.
Our trip was focused in Krakow, with a visit to Auschwitz early in the week. This trip to Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains was an excellent way to get out of the city and see the Highlands. Enjoyed the opportunity to stretch our legs during the drive. I enjoyed the cheese (bought some to take home), and driving thru Choctow. Our guide Michal was extremely kind and patient, as I have breathing issues and was struggling a bit with the attitude, and my travel partner walks with a cane. He revommended places to eat, and we were very excited to see that one I had investigated prior was on the list. Bakowo Zohylino Niznio was an incredible place to eat. The atmosphere was rustic and traditional of the Highlands, food was excellent and portions generous. He ensured my partner and I made it to and from the restaurant. Was professional and courteous at all times, and to end the day he sent everyone additional recommendations for things to see and places to eat in Krakow as well. I would recommend this excursion. Michal made it especially great for us.
The trip, itinerary and scenery were great but our guide/driver Matthew took it up a level and made it even more memorable. Throughout the journey he would share his knowledge on the locations as well as Polish history, customs, culture and mythology. Very engaging and happy to answer all our questions. He was also very flexible with the itinerary and never rushed us, offering loads of tips and suggestions when we were off on our own exploring. Thanks Matthew for an amazing time.
Great day out, would highly recommend this trip if visiting Krakow. Mike was our tour guide, really friendly person with lots of knowledge about the areas as well as places along the way giving a bit extra information. All of the stops were really interesting, cheese and wine tasting also very nice! Lots of recommendations on ways to spend time once in Zakopane and places to go for food. I'd say 3 hours in Zakopane was plenty, lots of shops to look around and lovely little market. Would recommend the cable car also, we spent a little over an hour up here which was definitely worth the price paid. If you do go up to Gubalowka on the cable car, I'd recommend to take cash as we found a lot of the stalls don't take card. Overall, a really enjoyable day out! If you're in two minds whether to book it or not, just do it. You won't be disappointed.
Although we had some very bad weather on our Wednesday trip our guide Mathew more than made up for that and his a credit to your company. Keep hold of him as he is a winner. Polite knowledge able and with a good sense of humour too. Great day I would recommend to friends and probably do the trip again without the rain. Thank you a pleased customer. Kevin
Lovely day trip out. Everything in itinerary happens as promised. Our tour guide Mateusz was amazing, so knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had. The whole day was great and the journey from krakow to Zakopane didn’t feel that long as we had 2-3 stops along the way! Fully recommend this tour was well informative and great.
Such a fun day out and consistent with everything the ad promised. All the info before the trip was helpful and it was easy to book. The destinations we visited were lovely and Matthew our guide was great at explaining everything and answering all our questions. Cheese and quince vodka were fantastic and the restaurant Matthew recommended was a great meal. Would recommend!
The organisers reached out the day before. We were told exactly what will take place and what time the driver would be here. Dawid was our guide and he was brilliant. Informative but also let us have a walk around take pictures and! Provided us with a car seat for the little one. It was great.
Incredible experience. Our guide was Caroline and she was so so lovely and made our experience so much more straight forward than if we done it alone. This tour is 110% worth it and I would do it again in a heartbeat. My favourite day of the holiday without any hesitation! Journey from Krakow is around 2 hours however en route up to Zakopane you have a toilet break and have 2 stops (cheese tasting and Wodka) before reaching Zakopane so it flies by!
Tour guide was excellent. Information about our trip and pick up point was sent to us the day before . Pick up point was just around corner from our hotel and was on time. Zakopane is a beautiful place would definitely recommend this trip. Definitely value for money.
Picked up at the time they said. Tour guide spoke good English and was very informative. Would book with this company again.
Matthew (the guide) was a great guide and Matthew the (the driver) was also great. The guide was especially nice and informative
Communication was great ahead of the trip. We were told the cable car wasn’t working but would be driven to the view points. We were not compensated for this, and because it was closed the ‘resort’ was also closed. The travel time was very long and the minibus was uncomfortable and the driver didn’t provide a smooth ride at all. Some of the stops felt utterly pointless. The town of Zakopane was a nice stop, however I would have loved a short hike somewhere in the mountains. If you’re short in time, don’t make this a priority.
