Fantastic place to visit and certainly one of the highlights of our trip. Excellent service from the tour company in ensuring the trip went smoothly and supplying Damian as our guide, as he was very courteous and professional throughout, a real credit to the company. The salt mine tour takes you through the centuries of life below ground, and the mind blowing achievements of the people who work here very courageously. A must see if visiting Krakow! The tour guide allocated to us at the mine was so knowledgeable and friendly.

Great experience, our guide on the coach, Damian gave us lots of information and tips whilst on route. It was a lovely place to visit, with beautiful salt sculptures and the workings of the mine. It was a very informative 2.5hr tour with plenty to see. We were in a small group of 27 which was perfect!

We had a wonderful trip to the Salt Mines in Poland. The mines were absolutely incredible, with stunning underground chambers, fascinating history, and beautiful salt sculptures. He was friendly, professional, organised, and always happy to help with any questions. His excellent communication and positive attitude helped make the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing. Everything would be perfect except of the cheating the customers by Headout web site. The name of the product is purposely ment to confuse the customer and when the customer buys the product then at the meeting point he finds out that he needs to pay another money for the entrance fee.

He was very personable and concerned for our welfare. He responded quickly to all messages we sent and took care of all the details. This was a great trip!

The private pick up was a few minutes late from our hotel ( privately purchased as an add on ) but this was not a problem as we were in constant Wattsapp communication with Lucas. Once at the bus station it was only a short 30 minute drive to the mine. It was well organised and structured. The mine was about a 2 1/2 hours trip underground. Lots of walking and interesting facts. The guide was good and overall it was well worth seeing. Postives: Good value for money, Lucas was providing good communication and information with everyone days before the start. Negatives: I was constantly messaged and emailed multiple times to buy a packed lunch. This was not neccessary as there was food and drink available throughout the tour. We purchased 2 packed lunches for 100 ZL. They were nice but not really neccessary. Dont bother with the packed lunch.

We booked via the travel agents so so got the tour and pick up as part of a package deal - possibly cheaper than if we did it ourselves. But fair warning, the tour is popular so you should pre-book the tour before the day. We met up at the central bus station in Krakow. The journey was short but unfortunately for us it was raining on the day. The bus guide, Natalia, was informative on what would happen when we got there. We parked and walked a short way up some stairs to some gazebos and we told we would have a short break to buy some things before we entered as when we left we needed to go straight back to the coach so would not have time later. Our bus guide showed us that there were free toilets to the right of the entrance we could use before going in. My only issue was that because of the rain and the amount of visitors, I struggled to hear our guide giving the instructions on where to go. There was a bit of waiting around and standing before we entered the mine proper as they were working to a time table. Our mine guide, Olga, was very good and informative. Well worth the visit. Plenty of photo opportunities and our guide was quite funny. For info: there are a set of toilets halfway/towards the end of the tour, but you will have to wait and hour and a half depending on what tour (how fast or slow the tour) went before you. There are also toilets at the entrance. Would NOT go on this if you have bad knees, anckles, legs or backs! This tour is definitely for those who are physically able to walk a fair distance as well as go up AND down stairs. We brought raincoats as it was raining but we found the mines to be fairly warmish, especially after all the walking so make sure you take easily removable layers. You will have to walk a bit after exiting to get back to any organised coaches/buses. We ended up following the crowd to get back.

It’s a shame about the location, but the organization is a disaster—the guide was just as bad, and we had to wait there for an hour! I wonder why. And the sandwich was a disaster too—I threw it straight into the trash!!

The salt mine tour was fantastic ,, our guide Simon was one in a million I went to the wrong pick up point (1st time in Poland) but came and got me no problem ,, open to questions and I gained valuable information about public transport etc A really good day and highly recommended

Tour guide Jake is a excellent host and guide. Tour slightly delayed for reasons beyond anyone's control. We were kept informed by WhatsApp and not just stood around guessing. Safe, clean and comfortable coach journey to and from the mine. The mine itself is spectacular. Well worth the admission price. The only slight issue was at the end. Being part of a Tour meant we were rushed through the gift shop on exiting the mine so as the the mine tour guide (not Jake!!) could get us back to the start point. Didn't spoil what was a very enjoyable day. Thanks!

Highly recommended. Lucas was a great guide and kept us entertained on the journey. Our guide through the mine was fantastic (sorry, I forget his name) but was informative, knowledgeable & answered any questions. The mines are awesome, incredible to think everything crafted out of salt.

A memorable trip and definitely worth the effort. Our guide was Lucas to the salt mines and he was excellent. He looked after us from start to finish and told us exactly what to expect at each stage so we were lucky.

The salt mines was enjoyable and overall we did have a good day. However, pick up instructions was not clear. The tour set off 30minutes late after the time stated and the pack up was not worth the money, especially given how cheap everything is to purchase.
