Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour With Hotel Transfers

The tour was fantastic and interesting. Our transfer to and from our hotel with Peter was also enjoyable as he was very knowledgeable and pleasant company

Maciek was a very good driver and shared his knowledge before we got to the Salt Mines. He looked after us very well when we got there and collected us promptly after the tour. He kindly dropped us off at the Jewish Quarter on our return. No complaints at all

Pickup instructions before trip were perfect and our driver Stephan was chatty, fun and very informative. He even took time to show us some additional sights on the way back to Krackow. The visit to the Salt Mines was wonderful, even if the walk back to the exit lift was rather long 😉

It was an amazing experience with loads of information about the Wieliczka salt mine for 700 years now. It’s a lot of long walk (up and down) the salt mine, out tour guides are really knowledgable, even our driver Szczepan has shared his knowledge in our tour

We booked this trip in advance of our arrival in Krakow and booked it via Hotel Jan, with Thousand Miles. I was contacted via WhatsApp the afternoon before our trip by the driver and guide Olaf who explained he would meet us outside the hotel at 8am. Olaf drove us to Wieliczka and explained what to expect during the tour and also the history of how that Saltmines began in Poland. He also advised us to stay close to our guide within the mines to hear the commentary via the head phones. The actual guide within the salt mines was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. After the trip Olaf met us outside and drove us back to Krakow. He gave us a running commentary as we drove through the city explaining the history of the areas we drove through. This was an added bonus to a very nice trip. I would recommend the trip and also Thousand Miles Tours to take you there

Excellent experience. Our driver picked us up on time and showed us a few places of interest on the way their, Magic also took us to the entry queue and waited with us until we entered the Salt Mine. magic showed us another place of interest on the way back to the hotel.

We booked a trip to the salt mines with pickup at 10am, and from the moment Olaf arrived bang on time, the whole experience was fantastic. Olaf was an absolute pleasure to have as our driver and guide. On the journey there, he chatted with us throughout, recommended other places we could visit during our free time, and gave us plenty of helpful advice about what to expect once we arrived at the salt mines. Any questions we had, Olaf was more than happy to answer, explaining everything clearly and in perfect detail. The customer service was spot on, and the driving was smooth and comfortable throughout. When we finished at the salt mines, Olaf was already waiting for us with a big smile on his face. Unfortunately, three ladies who were travelling with us were around half an hour late. We really didn’t mind waiting, and in that time my family and Olaf had a great laugh and a general chat. It really showed what a genuinely friendly and caring person he is. Honestly, I don’t think we could have asked for a more polite, caring, funny and knowledgeable guide/driver. Olaf went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and he made the whole day even more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend Olaf to anyone visiting the area. Margaret our driver to the salt mine was very friendly. She pointed out several places of interest and gave us some great suggestions that have been very helpful. The tour guide at the salt mine did an excellent job.

We booked our trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mines through 1000 Miles and were absolutely satisfied with the entire experience. We had originally booked the tour with another company, but unfortunately, it was cancelled due to organizational issues. Luckily, we then booked with 1000 Miles, and everything worked perfectly from start to finish. We were picked up on time from our accommodation in a comfortable minivan. The entire organization was very reliable and straightforward. Our driver, Haroune, was extremely friendly, helpful, and drove very safely and comfortably. The salt mines themselves were absolutely beautiful. For me, this was already my second visit, as I had visited the salt mines in April last year. Since a new part of the site has recently opened, we really wanted to see it as well. We spontaneously asked our driver if there would still be enough time to visit the new section, and he immediately helped make it possible. We were therefore able to extend our tour and visit the new part as well. Afterwards, Haroune drove us safely and on time back to our accommodation. We especially appreciated his flexibility, friendliness, and the excellent organization throughout the entire trip. Overall, everything was perfectly organized from the booking and pick-up to the tour and the return journey. We can definitely recommend 1000 Miles and would happily book another tour with them in the future!

Ludwik was a very good driver who solved difficult situations

Hariun picked us up from our hotel, smiley friendly cheeky chaps that was brilliant. Totally made us feel at ease and nothing was too much trouble. Great journey to the mine and was chatting to us throughout our journey with other guest. Totally knew what he was doing and post visit, which was great was very quickly on hand to collect us. Would highly recommend him as a tour guide and Thousand Miles was brilliant. Thank you and well done on an enjoyable visit 😁

The pick up and experience was great, the driver was sweet and wholesome, on the way to the destination the driver pointed out some tourist spots and their backstory. 😊
