Very smooth experience, with our driver Kate picking us up and dropping us off right at our hotel. It is a good idea to go earlier when it is less crowded, thank you!

Itinerary
Start your tour in the center of Kraków, admiring the beauty of the city along the way.
Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the most precious and fascinating Polish monuments. The first tourist trail in Wieliczka was established as early as the beginning of the 19th century. A couple of centuries later the salt mine was designated as one of the first UNESCO World Heritage Sites (1978). The underground path leads through numerous drifts, galleries, and chambers, where traces of mining activity have been preserved, as well as examples of art, and theme compositions relating to the history of the mine and its legends. Wieliczka is the world's largest mining heritage museum... Moreover, the microclimate of the mine has a beneficial impact on visitors who suffer from asthma and allergies. The tour starts with a descent of 64 meters by stairs. You are then led through a number of chambers and shown underground lakes, shrines, and salt monuments. The trip finishes at the level of 135 meters below the surface and the return to the surface is by lift.
St. Kinga’s Chapel is a breathtaking underground sanctuary carved entirely from salt, located deep within the historic Wieliczka Salt Mine. Dedicated to Saint Kinga, this extraordinary space features intricate salt sculptures, crystal chandeliers, and detailed reliefs depicting biblical scenes. Both a place of worship and a masterpiece of craftsmanship, the chapel is considered one of the most remarkable highlights of the mine and a symbol of centuries-old mining heritage.
After you visit the Salt Mine and a day full of excitement, your driver will take you back to the center of Kraków (of course, if you’ve chosen the transport option ).

Lucas was great guy and guide very good man with great jokes
Beware this is not a guided tour of the Salt Mines despite the title of this trip. This is very misleading. This is simply transport to the Salt Mines with no guided tour. You have to pay for your Salt Mine tickets on the coach after it has departed. I have asked Viator to amend this misleading title and also asked for a partial refund. The title has not been changed and the refund was declined.
Guide was great sis not rush is too much as was with 79 year old mum Steps were bit much but she did it and was great experience from start to finish thank you Lukia done very well answered all our questions
Great trip and definitely worth visiting.
Bus guide was very knowledgeable very friendly and made us all feel comfortable.
Beautiful mine and Catholic heritage but the change in environment such as higher pressure and lower oxygen level caused my family members to feel heavy and dizzy.
They did not show up, changed the time and place for the pick up last minute after we paid £6 each for a hotel pick up. I spent £125 for this tour that never happened. The customer service does not reply, the app does not reply and impossible to have assistance. Refrain from booking. Utterly unprofessional. I want full refund
Just a note that when booking with viator be careful that your tickets for the tour are included . I booked 2 trips and both times despite it saying entry tickets were included this was not the case !!! very unclear in the booking system.. be careful !
I recommend this service, the cost are right for the service and our driver, Paula, has been super professional and kind and give us some advice to visit Wielinzca and krakow
There are an awful a lot of steps but very manageable just take it steady then you come back up in a lift shaft.
Really enjoyed my trip to the Saltmines. Lukasz our tour guide was very informative on the journey to the Saltmines and the guide at the Saltmines explained everything very well. I would certainly recommend this trip.
The transfer is vastly overpriced for 2 x half hour journeys on a bus. Very disappointed as could have arranged the same journey for less than £10 for two people instead of over £40 Salt mines were amazing which made up for over priced transfers
YUSUF got us there, and made sure everything went as it should, nice guy very sweet Great expereience
Fantastic sculptures. Interesting history behind it. Amazing gift shop.
The whole experience was awesome! Our tour guide Lucas was very helpful and kind, totally recommended experience!

Well organised everything on time and super efficient - Lucasz was great. Very interesting tour of the mines with a local guide that was well paced and had some amazing sights. Highly recommended.
Well organised kept well up-to-date with plenty of information would recommend this trip to other wanting too go too the salt mines.
Tour was good organized by Kate. She was lovely and friendly guide and profesional driver. Definitely recommend
Very interesting experience made better by our tour guide Jona who kept us updated on times and meeting points .
Had a brilliant day at the salt mines. Would highly recommend doing this trip. Lukasa was great fun new all his history, great tour guide.
Great tour with guide Lukasz; Arak was our guide in the mines and he was fantastic, very knowledgable and funny.
Great experience touring the salt mines, our guide (Lukas) was great, very informative! Would definitely recommend. Thank you!!
Lucas was terrific. Highly recommend.
I will never use this company again felt very let down and would not recommend you to any of my family and friends
Lovely guide Natalia on the bus, great guide around the Salt mine. Felt really looked after and had a great time 😁
Definitely go to the Salt Mines when in Krakow. Different than caves, the salt mines are a unique experience. The miners who sculpted beautiful works were true artisans. Jona our guide handled all the logistics wonderfully.
Great experience for the trip of salt mine
We paid £54 to be collected from the hotel. It wasn't explained that this was only transfers. This did not include tickets to the trip!! Not clear at all. Three different platforms were used to message myself on. Still not clear information. On TripAdvisor it stated salt mine trip with guide. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable .
We had a great experience it was around 4 and a half hours for the whole tour and our guide Natalia was amazing and told us lots of information. There was around 38 of us in the group and it was well organised. There was a separate fee that we were aware of to get in to the mines which was 143 pln each but we were able to pay this before even getting on the site of the salt mines through Natalia to make entrance even quicker!
Wonderful informative day, learnt some interesting facts
Natalia was friendly and informative. The detections for the pickup location were clear and the WhatsApp group helped with additional queries and instructions.
Amazing tour, we had a great time. Natalia was super friendly and helpful. Pick up and drop off was easy and on time
Excellent day? Thanks Natalia
Natalia was great and the tour was a beautiful display of Catholic history.
Amazing experience, such a fantastic guide too. Its was breathtaking. A must if you’re visiting Poland.
Great experience overall! Everything was handled great!
Lucas from Viator was great, really knowledgeable and helpful throughout. Made it a very enjoyable experience for our first time in Krakow!
Really good tour. Very impressive. My guide Kate was lovely and very attentive and helpful.
Love the whole tour, the attention, the energy. Lukasz was very friendly and super nice. A red grain of group and logistics.
Lucas was super friendly and helpful - highly recommend!
Really good trip thoroughly enjoyable
Would recommend the trip to see the salt mines but check first on the transfers and payments for the mine as I was conned payed of this site but it only covered the transfers and not dropped off at the bus station which was a 20 minute walk back to my hotel ,then had to pay separately for the tour ,which was amazing
Amazing place to see and the guides were very good and helpful. Definitely recommend this for others
Excellent tour! Well Done Jake n Team
A good tour and worth going. The actual tour of the mine felt rushed at points. Guides who transported us to and from the mine were very friendly and helpful.
everything was great! we really enjoyed Jake's guidance and interesting information.
The tour operator was very nice and the guide was great. However, Viator did not provide accurate instructions as we needed to pay prior and not at gate. The quoted price was also wrong for the entrance fee.
Olivia was a brillant tour guide very helpful and so friendly . Thank you Olivia ❤️
