Driver collected us at our hotel and back. Tour was approx 2 hours and very good. Would recommend if you have come that far.

Kinga was such a lovely guide! Great experience I would recommend
Good communication via WhatsApp of timings & pick up location. Two minibuses not one big bus which was nice for a more personal feel. Daniel our driver was great. Our tour guide for the Salt mine tour was knowledgeable and clear with her communication a subtle sense of humour. This is a busy tourist attraction and most of the time it felt like a good paced tour. Occasionally we felt rushed however this was not the tour guides fault as there're so many big groups going through that she did well to keep us from overlapping constantly. We were warned at the start of the Tour that it was a busy tourist attraction. Very glad we visited in off season. There were toilet breaks at a couple of points during the 2 1/2 hours underground. There is a health resort you can stay in underground if you have more time plus a wee village that supports the mine. Amazing place. We'll worth seeing.
We used head out for booking tours - Fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Was a holy day on the sun 1 nov in Krakow so couldn’t do our booked tour Gead out have been brilliant, with great communication and my refund is pending. The closure had absolutely nothing to do with headout, and they have been so great sorting refund out
If taking a trip to Krakow, I would definitely recommend a visit to the Salt Mines in Wieliczka. Easy to get to as it's not too far from the city. Plenty of steps at the start, but well worth the descent into a wonderful experience. The main cavern is incredible, such an amazing achievement by the miner's over all those years of mining. Not an expensive trip as others go. We booked with Hello Cracow to pick us all up and bring us back to our hotel. They were on time and very friendly with great communication prior to the holiday. So go on, give the mines a go, you won't be disappointed (just look at some of our photos)!
Excellent Tour. Coach driver was great and very funny. The tour guide was amazing, she was very funny and made the experience even better. 100% recommend
Fantastic day out, lots of informative history about the importance of salt over the ages. The guide was excellent and good fun. The video in the last cavern was stunning. Pick up and drop-off was very good, with Renata a great driver with good information. Very good trip.
PLEASE NOTE: WHEN YOUR BUS PARKS, PUT A PIN IN YOUR PHONE’S MAP! Don’t try to memorize your surroundings. You exit the mine far away from where you parked. To get back to your bus, you need to walk through town, turning street corners, through a park, down streets, etc. Two people from our group never made it back to the bus, so the driver left without them. It was a great tour. It’s amazing what people can carve underground during 900 years. Endless passageways, enormous underground caverns, cathedrals, lakes, sculptures, etc.
Very good experience. All well organized.
Awesome experience had a great time with the family
Incredible tour of the Salt Mines. It is in my opinion the best place to go and see in the Krakow area, simply one of a kind and just incredible. Endless passages and huge open spaces carved from salt, including a chapel/church, the tour guide gave a great historic overview of the site too as we made our way through. Great value for money, we used Uber to get there from our hotel in Krakow. 3 of us in total, the group size was maybe 20, so it was great and not too overcrowded, considering the size of the mines. Great for some good photographs too, there are many excellent shots in here. We were at the site for around 3 hours.
Very good tour, our tour was informative and funny. amazing place to visit would recommend.
An experience you must not miss!!! Maria, our guide was Great, helpful and friendly!!! Thanks Maria!!!
Excellent pace, knowledgeable guide. Beautiful underground sights and fascinating history. Don’t miss this.
Great experience. vuide good. 3xperience was breath-taking. lots of steps but not too bad. well worth the effort.
Excellent trip. Not.too long. Good history.
Really enjoyed the experience
Positive experience, guide very kind and supportive in any moment. I suggest to anticipate a little bit the departure to reach the Wieliczka Salt Mine, because of the huge traffic from the centre of Krakow.
The day was excellently organised from pick up to drop off. Text arrived the night before with the name of the taxi driver, car details and timings. The transfer to a larger bus was well coordinated. The drivers were polite and helpful. The journey to the saltmine offered a wonderful opportunity to see some beautiful Polish scenery. The saltmine was a wonderful experience. There are a lot of steps but the guide managed the pace of the walk well , and we had time to take photos. The guides English was excellent and her knowledge of the site ensured it was an informative and enjoyable experience. We have some wonderful memories of an incredible experience. Highly recommended trip.
On time, but ew have to wait until enter
What a fantastic experience! We all absolutely loved the Salt Mines tour from start to finish! We were picked up directly from our hotel by our amazing driver, Patryk, who was so friendly and welcoming. We had a great group of people on the bus, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The Salt Mines themselves were incredible, such an interesting and fascinating place to visit. The whole tour was really well organised, and everything ran so smoothly. Patryk was there to collect us afterwards and take us back to our hotel, even playing some great tunes on the journey back, which was a brilliant way to finish the day! A fantastic experience all round, made even better by Patryk. We all had such a lovely time and would highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Patryk! ❤️
We were picked up in a mini bus but it was full and we were packed in like sardines. The driver was very friendly. From the car park there's a short uphill walk to where we were corralled into groups, given electronic receivers and a guide. Obviously you should be aware there are a lot of steps and the tour begins with a 400 step descent. Sadly, after that, as my wife and I are rather slow we couldn't hear the commentary or receive any information about what we were looking at. The communication devices weren't very good at all. The actual site is extremely impressive and we took many pictures and ultimately descended another 400 steps. Then there's a lot of queuing and waiting around for the lifts to return to the surface. In all it was a worthy trip but more suited to fit and able people without hearing difficulties
Great experience featuring incredible sights and facts. Our guide was very funny and made the experience.
Excellent communication prior to the trip. Polite and helpful using WhatsApp. A friendly driver in a comfortable Ford van. Safe driving which is really important to us. Clear instructions on arrival. A superb young female guide. Outstanding place to visit. Thank you.
An interesting tour. I knew nothing about this beforehand. The only drawback was that the guide kept grabbing her microphone which created a great amount of static in our earpieces, making it very difficult to understand what she was saying.
Make sure you book well in advance, as we did it when we arrived and we were lucky to find available tickets, But a must do experience.
Close to Krakow, good for a morning/afternoon trip. Very interesting, the sculptures and chandeliers are amazing. There is a lot of walking.
Very interesting trip. The statues were amazing and the guide was knowledgeable. It involves quite a bit of walking and descending stairs.
Would highly recommend the Salt tour. The pick up on time direct from hotel, they keep you informed with messages regards the pick up time and relevant information. Your guide full of knowledge and a good pace with a great group size, not too big. Very professional and would use again without hesitation. Thank you for making my trip enjoyable.
Great service, competitive price too. Greg(driver) was great and had loads of information about the local area. I would recommend getting a guide for the tour of the salt mines as there's lots of history down there, lot more interesting than I thought it would be.
Unknown to us, the place for pick-up had been changed. We were very lucky to have our driver, Greg, with Hello Cracow. He called us, when we weren't at the location and luckily, we were able to get there in a few minutes. On the way to the Salt Mines, he filled us in on the history of the area, which was very interesting. We had an enjoyable ride to the location and Greg was right where he said he would be when we returned. The Salt Mines were awesome! 380 steps down in a square circle, lots of walking and a "sardine" ride up in the elevator. A must see and a lovely ride back to our pick-up location.
Great communication, door to door pick up and drop off - used them for two trips, Auschwitz - Birkenau and The Salt Mines. Both were obviously very different but still operated in a very efficient manner. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great experience and was well organised.
Happy with the tour. Our driver was friendly and helpful, the tour guide in the mine was also great. Knowledgeable , friendly, helpful. Couldn’t ask for more. The salt mine was also very interesting. This was my 2nd salt mine after one in Romania and it was completely different. This felt like an actual mine.
Fanatic day out ! Well worth every penny
It took a very long and unexpected walk to reach the lift back to the top, which was exhausted. For those who are physically unable, please consider not going.
What a wonderful company. We were picked up outside of where we were staying. The driver was excellent. Our trip to the salt mines was amazing and our tour guide was great. Hello Cracow couldn’t do enough for us and responded really quickly to any queries even sending us a comprehensive list of places to eat and drink with a map to help guide us. I thoroughly recommend this company and will definitely use them on our next visit
Early start but we'll worth it. Fascinating insight from the guide both to and from the mines and during the tour itself.
Krakow is very clean, some stunning buildings, very busy with a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurants are great value, good food, friendly staff. We were out walking late at night and felt very safe even walking through the park. We didn't do all we wanted so will be returning. I would encourage everyone to have a visit. There is so much to see and do.
We booked about a week before travel and were kept up to date via WhatsApp regarding meeting point and time. Our driver was prompt and everything ran smoothly. Our guide at the mine was very informative. Be prepared for a lot of walking and many many stairs. Comfortable shoes are a must. Would recommend this trip if you can manage it but not for the feint hearted.
Excellent pre excursion liaison ensuring the pick up was best suited to my hotel. A 4 to 5 hour trip including a comfortable coach transfer. I consider this to be an appropriate trip length as it could be quite tiring for some. The Salt Mines were absolutely amazing and the guide was on hand to answer questions. I had a little difficulty with my headset not working but this was replaced immediately and did not retract from the experience. The coach party split into two groups to maximise the experience. Prepare to take photos at every turn or new chamber !! Great value for money and highly recommended , a must see.
Excellent trip with fantastic tour guide ant easy transport
Seamless experience, totally professional and friendly. Trip information was given over WhatsApp, including maps of meeting places. If there was a change in itinerary I was notified immediately. Guide and driver were friendly and looked after everyone beautifully
We booked through Jet2experiences online a few weeks before our trip. We selected our hotel as pickup point. A few days before the trip we received a WhatsApp message from Hello Crakow who was the local tour guide. They confirmed our pickup time and location outside our hotel. On the day of the trip the driver was on time and the journey to the salt mines was smooth. The driver was friendly and explained that he would take us to the entrance and then where to meet us back at the minibus after the tour. The tour itself was very good, the guide was lovely. We had headsets to listen through. I was a little concerned about the number of steps however it was absolutely fine, the steps are wooden and not too steep. There was a lift to take us back up to the top. The guide was ready waiting for us after the trip and dropped us off back at our hotel. Highly recommend this trip & Jet2experiences/Hello Crakow.
An excellente experience_ a bit pricey, buy highly appreciated. Marta the guide, was very professionale and courteous. Highly recommended.
The driver was really nice . And the french guide in the mine was very interesting
Great experience, booked through get your guide and the tour was with Hello Crakow we booked with the hotel pick up and drop off which saved trying to find a pick up point. We were picked up at 9.30 and the tour started at 10.00 we surfaced from the mine a 12.35 and we were due back on the minibus at 12.45, another 30 mins to 1hr would have been handy as there is a little town there. The salt mines are definitely worth a visit.
From start to finish the whole experience was amazing. Thank you
Very good but should be warned alot of steps and alot of walking. You go very deep but well lit. Back to the surface there is a lift so steps only down.
