Biatek was our guide and he instantly felt like family. He took us through Old Town and the Jewish Quarter with the perfect mix of history, humor, and local flavor. Every stop was thoughtful, authentic, and absolutely delicious. Here were some of my favorite tastings from the night: • Pączek (pon-check) — the classic Polish doughnut • Obwarzanek krakowski (ob-vah-ZHAH-nek kra-KOFF-skee) — the iconic street bialy • Żurek — fermented rye soup with sausage and egg • Placki ziemniaczane — crispy potato pancakes, served with rich goulash (GOO-lahsh) • Zapiekanka — the beloved Soviet‑era open‑faced snack • And to top it all off: black currant–infused vodka, the perfect finish to the evening Advice: come hungry. This tour was fun, flavorful, and full of local insight. Biatek’s warmth and passion for Kraków made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend.

Aleksandra was a fantastic guide - she was so energetic and enthusiastic about sharing stories, traditions and Polish customs. We were in town for a wedding, and she let us know what to expect. She was absolutely right! The food on the tour was delicious, and there was a nice mix of a food cart, two restaurants, and a traditional bakery. We did not feel surrounded by other tourist groups, but rather felt like we were dining with a friend from Krakow who was sharing her favorite places with us. Loved the experience!

We had the food tour with Alessandra on our first full day in Krakow. She was full of key information of Polish cuisine and stories about the Polish culture, including how Poles hold their thumbs as an expression of hoping for good luck. And what good luck we had with Alexsandra as our guide! She was thoughtful to take into account a gluten intolerance of one of us, and she made each one of us feel specially included. We enjoyed the tour immensely. With her engaging personality and animated way of speaking, Alexsandra was the perfect guide to Polish food and way of life. Tomasz was very well organised and very knowledgeable about local and national history. He provided an excellent tour of traditional Polish food and was happy to answer all our questions. The pace was relaxed and we found it an excellent way to acquaint ourselves with Krakow as first time visitors.

We really enjoyed the history behind the food and as well as the food. My favorite was the soup and the vodka tasting was lots of fun. We are very thankful Tomas was patient with our 5 kids.

Great tour in the lovely Old Town of Krakow. Tomasz was flexible about time, has excellent English, and was very well informed about the food, culture and history. After our tour, he sent us a list of the places and foods we sampled, as well as the Polish words we learned. Greatly enjoyed!

Tour was great, our guide was really lovely and the food was amazing but we did not get the tour we booked. I don’t know if there was a reason why the itinerary was changed as this was not communicated to us and we did not get to try all the food listed. What we did have was great, especially the restaurant for the traditional Polish dinner.

My sister, brother in law and i did a food tour with Tomasz in Krakow. It was one of the highlights of the trip. Tomasz was very knowledgeable, personable and interesting. We loved the dinner he selected and really enjoyed learning about the country, city and food from Tomasz. Would highly recommend him.

Tomasz was a fantastic guide. He had already guided us on a tour(where he was wonderful too) and gave us so much information and so much great traditional Polish food and drink. The stories were great, his conversation was wonderful and all his food choices were superb. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a great taste of a fabulous country.

We had a great time on our tour with Tomasz in Krakow. We had asked Tomasz if we could combine food tasting with history on our walking tour of the Old Town area since we only had a couple of days in Krakow, and he did such a good job - it was perfect! He was super-knowledgeable about the history of the area, sharing lots of fun facts, stories, answering questions - he even has a laminated binder to help with the tour! And then he also had wonderful connections for food tastings and had organized everything ahead of time with the lunch restaurant so that we got to try many of the regions food highlights during our time with him from snacks to savories to desserts, including the history/significance for many of the foods! We would highly recommend working with Tomasz!

Ewa was a great host, very personable, and made for a very enjoyable tour enhanced by interesting history of the food and also some of Ewa's own memories of food growing up. Throw in some facts about the city and some personal stories and it made for a tour that I would definitely recommend.

We took a food tour of Krakow with tomasz as our guide-what a great way to see the city! Tomasz was so well informed and we learnt so much on the day about food, local culture and history which was extremely interesting. We tried lots of local food that we wouldn't have tried otherwise. We had a wonderful time on our food tour with Tomaz. We found some local bars and restaurants for some vodka, pickled herring, Pierogi, soup, polish pizza and the famous Pope cake. We were so full and ready for a relax after. Tomaz was very friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was a problem. With locals tours are so personal and they are the first tours we book if available where we are traveling.

Olena developed this tour and she was our guide. It was an amazing tour of top local foods in differing areas of the city. We enjoyed a lot. There are great places to which I might like to return some day...others I can skip. But it was good to be able to say that we've at least tried these things
