My husband and I were fortunate enough to have a private wine tasting! We had 5 different polish wines, predominantly white, all of which were lovely. Everything was explained in great detail by very knowledgeable staff. We stayed and had a couple of glasses of sparkly wine at the end-absolutely lovely. Highly recommend 🥂👍

We were a group of 9 guys doing the wine tasting, and had a great experience. Tomasz was an excellent sommelier/guide with lots of knowledge and great energy throughout the visit. The wines and finger food included in the package, and drinks after were all very good. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Krakow 🍷 Only small downside was that it’s a bit of a walk from the Old Town, and the Tripadvisor address was slightly incorrect.
Lovely experience which was just for the two of us. Really enjoyed it. Great knowledge and really warm ang engaging conversation.
What a selection of whiskies and wines! The wine snacks were very tasty, and the sommelier was very helpful. We tried some unusual Polish wines and an excellent cheese board with pear salsa. The place is a bit off the beaten path, but it is absolutely worth visiting. Great value for money. This wine bar in Kraków is mostly visited by locals, and you can really feel that it’s a place run with passion and an enormous selection of wines! 🍷
Absolutely phenomenal experience, we were really impressed with Robert's knowledge and friendliness. The experience was a part of our honeymoon, and it's a cute idea for a date, or if you have friends coming over from abroad. It was our first time attending a wine tasting, and we had 0 prior knowledge, but Robert made us feel very comfortable, and his descriptions were down to earth, so it was easy to enjoy! We were the only ones in the bar, so it felt very VIP. The wine was delicious, we purchased a bottle of one of the wines we tasted, and the place itself was very modern, and elegant. Thank you!
Robert was very informative and selected some great wines for me to try. A good chance to try Polish wines and learn about the vineyards.
Our tour was absolutely amazing. We felt like we were allowed to ask questions and were given a lot of information about the different wines. We ended up buying three different bottles, one of which we didn’t even try, just off of the recommendation of our wine somm. I felt very informed about the different varieties of Polish wines, the history, the style of wines that were produced, and the types of wines that might be best for my palette. A beautiful event that I am very much looking forward to attending again!
Fantastic introduction to Polish wine. 100% recommended. Great food accompaniment and knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my partner and we were both very much looking forward to it. However, it turned out to be very disappointing and a waste of money! We turned up at this lovely looking wine bar, to find 2 men stood talking. We explained the reason for the visit and were told to sit down. After a few minutes one of the men left and the other came up to us and said he wasn’t expecting a wine tasting today, and is very hungover! We found this shocking. Especially as on the trip advisor website, it states that if there is not enough people to participate, they will reschedule or refund the ticket, so we thought there would be a group of us, however we were the only people there. The man then begins to ring someone on the phone as he is bringing over bottles of wine. He is then swapping them over as he clearly doesn’t know which ones to use and is being told what to do on the phone. He then goes to put a couple on the fridge as they are clearly for the tasting but haven’t been chilled as we were unexpected guests! After 20 minutes of him talking to someone on the phone, he then brings a laptop over and goes through an outdated (his words) PowerPoint presentation with us as we try 5 wines. I felt sorry for the man as he clearly wasn’t informed that this was happening and was trying his best, however for the price we paid, it was absolutely not worth the money at all and I would strongly suggest that people didn’t buy tickets for this.
The wine tasting was excellent and our sommelier was very knowledgeable and the wines were terrific. I would recommend this to anyone.
Alex was a fantastic host who shared so much with us about the growth of the Polish wine culture. We had the opportunity to try 3 white wines, an orange wine, and a red wine. We had plenty of time to enjoy the wine, as well as the charcuterie board. This wine bar has a very modern and cozy vibe, and it features a fantastically curated selection of European wines. We ended up buying a bottle to further enjoy at the wine bar, as well as some wine to bring home to friends.
Very educational and enjoyable session learning about the evolving world of Polish wine. Tomaz was very engaging and knowledgeable and adapted the tasting to our preferences.
Nice and proffesional expert. He told much interesting about polish wines, and about the wines we tastes. Interesting.
Enormous thanks to Alex for an engaging wine introduction and tasting session of Polish wine. Alex's open approach and detailed yet easy-to-understand narrative of polish wine evolution made the experience both fun and instructive. I highly recommend to follow Alex for this exploration and interaction with polish wine.
It was great to try wines we hadn't had before and the guy doing the tasting was very interesting and informative. A good way to spend a couple of hours. Recommended.
Delicious Polish Wines…….who knew🤣? We spent a very enjoyable 2 hours at Ferment, tasting a sparkling, several white and a red wine all from Poland. We found out about the history of Polish winemaking. With a couple of shots thrown in at the end and an accompanying board of cheese, meat and bread, this was a very satisfying afternoon. Highly recommended.
I absolutely loved this wine tasting session with Tomasz. As a beginner he made me feel very comfortable and I learn lots of interesting things about the Polish wine making scene and wine in general! I found it all very fascinating and I would very much recommend this tasting session / class to anyone visiting Krakow. Tomasz's wine shop is a beautiful and stylish premises located within easy reach of the city centre (I walked from the Jewish Quarter). During the session we sampled various lovely Polish wines alongside some delicious cheeses. All this with a knowledgeable and friendly wine professional in a down to earth setting. I couldn't have asked for much more. Thanks Tomasz and hopefully see you again one day in the future. Tom
Fabulous afternoon with Tomasz, learning about Polish wines and how they differ from other wines. Very informative, lots of wine tastings and nibbles too.
Arrived at a lovely bar/shop, close to the galeria. The owner Tomasz was so friendly and relaxed, he knew so much about wines in general,, we were educated in the wines and hybrid grages of New Polish winery , throughout the long period tasting and chatting about wines and history we were given delicious cheeses. As the climates of the world changed Polish wine especially the white wines will become more prominent, we throughly recommend this experience, it was fun, and Tomasz made us feel at ease explaining the technical details in a really informative way. If in Krakow, and you like wines, this is not to be missed.
Are you a wine enthusiast but not acquainted with Polish wines or didn't know that they exist in the first place? Then Tomasz is your go-to guy when it comes to learning of the still rather fledgling wine growing and production scene in Southern Poland, which has been taking off in the 2000's. The tasting with cheeses and ham took place in a show room/bar with Tomasz telling about the Polish wine growing regions and of the grapes used in Polish wines. The small group tasting was both pleasant and informative. One does not have to be a wine buff to attend the tasting but I think a person with prior knowledge of various kinds of wines gets the most out of it.
Bardzo dobre miejsce do przetestowania win i whisky przed zakupem, pracownicy znają się na temacie i bardzo chętnie pomagają podjąć decyzję co sprawia że można się poczuć zaopiekowanym w pełni
Great experience and skilled sommelier. Exciting wines. You are served cheese, cured meats and olives. Pleasant atmosphere.
Thomas was een uitstekende gastheer met een grote expertise over wijnen uit Polen! Fantastische middag gehad.
Educational and cosy! We cost ourselves. Very good wine, incredibly interesting information about wine production in general and good mood🙂
What a tasting! Amazing wines and a magical sommelier. Encourages everyone to book this as an activity when visiting Krakow. If you are happy in wines, you will appreciate this tasting. If you are not so experienced with tasting wines, you will also appreciate this tasting. Charging!
Tomasz is very interested in, and skilled to convey his knowledge of wine, very nice and good! If you are going to Krakow and want to learn about/taste Polish wine, we recommend FERMENT and Thomasz.
