Don't recommend this, not worth it, also missed our tour we had paid for as forced to leave to get extra ID as what we had wasn't enough.
Guide never showed up. Only had a phone number and no answer. Had to purchase new tickets at the venue. Will not book unlimitedkrakow.com again.
A lot of reading we should have got the Audio guide it's a good idea to skip the que as it was a very wet day in Krakow
It has very little to do with the actual Schindler factory. It’s a museum virtually totally about Jewish life in Krakov in the Second World War. Even a map of the ghetto area or a mock up of a typical room in the ghetto showing overcrowding or difficulty of life generally in the ghetto would have be illuminating. The only mention of Schindler was his desk and a glass case of pots and pans in one room. I learned more about the actual factory from the Schindlers List book and film than I did from this visit.
Really interesting history of the occupation of Poland, the persecution of Jews and Poles, the Jewish ghetto, Schindler’s factory, Eagle Pharmacy, the resistance and more. A really moving insight into the times and a poignant reminder that we have a responsibility to never be complacent about the evil side of humanity.
We booked for this when back in UK as were told that although you can queue for a ticket, it gets very crowded. We didn't have a guided tour and didn't feel we missed out on anything, in fact we probably saw more that the guided tours. The factory was very interesting and most exhibits has descriptions in English. Well worth a visit
We advise getting the skip the line tickets in advance as we walked straight in at our allocated time. Was an interesting museum although it was more about the history of nazi occupied krakow than Schindler himself which was not expected. Still enjoyable and informative though.
Very informative, more about what happened in krakow, than factory it self. Found the displays very interesting
Well organised with information about entry arriving the day before on watts app - cannot fault via tour. We should have bought a guide or headset on entry to the museum - this is a must otherwise tour is just a collection of photos - our error !
This “experience” is tickets only. You can’t get them directly from the museum because consolidators buy them up and sell them to the public at an elevated price.
Always get skip the line tickets - because you skip the line - just make sure the company books the tickets for the time you want -
Such an amazing museum., lots to see. We watched the video experience which was very informative. Lots of exhibits, and photos
Great experience, fast track allowed us to skip the Que and walk straight in. Would recommend as the Que can get rather long.
I chose to not get a guided tour and that was a mistake. I felt I missed some of the factory and a guide would have made it a better experience. Lesson learned!
Definitely worth seeing this while in Krakow. Be sure to get tickets ahead of time, people were waiting in line for hours. I was able to walk right in thanks to my time reservation. Good museum, glad I went.
A very interesting and eye opening trip to Schindlers factory. Would recommend especially to the younger generation.
We learned a lot about the war and enjoyed the pictures and explanations. However, we expected the tour to be more about Schindler and his factory and how he helped the Jewish people. I didn't like the way we received the tickets that we bought ahead online. All the tickets I bought for other sites sent the tickets as soon as my payment went through. Your way of doing that is too complicated for those not familiar with the use of whatsapp, and not knowing which way you were going to send them...at the last day. I'm grateful my husband could figure it out, because I wondered when and how we would ever get our tickets. I probably wouldn't buy from Viator again because I like to have my tickets in advance so I don't have to wonder if they will arrive on time.
This tour/museum is concentrated mostly on what happened to Krakow during ww2 and not specifically on the Schindler factory, it's workers or the man himself. The collection and display of such, is very comprehensive and certainly a deep insight into the atrocities inflicted upon the people of Krakow. Congratulations to those who have collated such an amazing display. However we would have liked to have learnt a little more about Schindler and his workers. Perhaps this needs to be more clear in the tour description?
Great museum not far from the Jewish quarter , really interesting. However, not much about Schindler in there which was a little disappointing
Must do,very informative, excellent,fast track,a must,saving time and trouble,would highly recommend
Tours really prevented us from being able to see so much of the written explanations - and there were A LOT of tour groups. Also, we checked on-line & said we could get audio tour, but was not the case. It's a great, extensive mostly WW2 museum . Be sure to watch the film in the auditorium at beginning as that is where you really learn the most about the amazing Oscar Schindler. Shout -out to the wonderful & helpful staff as 1 of us was on a mobility scooter and required some assistance which was always cheerfully & readily available.
The experience was something I’ll never forget. I went with my husband a 2 teenagers 18 and 20. We got there around 12.30 and there was a queue. Very slow moving - once we got to the front 1.5 hours later we realised that they were only letting in around 10 people at a time. Once we had paid we didn’t book a organised tour. It was really busy with organised tours which at times you had to wait to get by. And tight confined areas making it difficult to get by if you wanted. Overall well worth the visit be prepared to wait Be careful when using online sites to book your tickets the factory takes no responsibility - as you still have to queue and often using online sites you pay well over as tickets cost us around £4 each
Definitely worth visiting with skip the line tickets. Very interesting account of how Schindler helped the Jewish people during WW2.
Glad we bought skip the line tickets as a big queue was waiting outside when we arrived. Interesting musuem. We bought a pram with us and it was ok as their were lifts.
Whilst the booking process was easy and delivered what we booked, the actual experience was not what we expected. We thought we would experience Schindler and learn what he did for the Jews during the war, in fact we had a history lesson on the impact of WW II in general with almost nothing about Schindler
So worth the walking to find this place , full of history we learnt so much , it will stay In Our hearts forever
The museum was relatively quiet. February seems the best time to go. It tells the story of the Nazis in Krakow.
It was a great experience. However there was far too many guided tours at the one time and those without guides could not explore the museum. At one point my partner and I were sandwiched between two tours. I think possibly need to space the guided tours out better so it’s not so crowded.
Whilst very informative, it’s important to note that this experience focuses more on Kraków’s modern history than entirely on Schindler himself. It was extremely busy and although we booked tickets in advance we were juggling for space between group tours. Get in there early would be the best bet if you can.
A very moving experience well worth a vist best pre booked a nice restaurant opposite which we had food
It is very informative and an insight into what happened. The museum is easy to walk round on your own at your own pace.
Very worthwhile visit, was an emotional experience at times but you learn so much too, very well organised
Very good we would have liked to see part of the factory out the back which was a disappointment not to see. Some staff very rude and unhelpful. One member of staff stunk of BO the worse I have ever smelt in my life she was also very very rude. Most staff spent their time looking at their phones !
Good museum but went thinking this would be about Oscar schlinder but mainly about ww2 in Krakow. Still very interesting and informative - just not what we were expecting! Barcodes on tickets wouldn't scan as too small and lost focus when zoomed in
Good value for money tour with a lot to look at and discover, organised well and managed to get in earlier than booked time
I did not receive my tickets and I was not able to take the tour. No one was at the the museum to help me
Very moving and informative experience about this historical factory. Well laid out and easy to navigate around.
We walked to the museum and got there a little early . So we had a walk around and visited the ghetto and empty chairs in the square . Went for something to eat near the museum until it was time to go in . The museum was very good we watched a short film in the cinema . Then continued to walk around it took us roughly 1 hr 30 mins to 2 hours to go round plenty of reading to do . We enjoyed it and if visiting krakow it’s a must . Get skip line tickets because there was a large queue outside waiting to go in
It was great to skip the line! The queues outside were so long! I enjoyed touring the museum by myself without a tour as we had limited time.
Enjoyed the short film. It was very busy so not so easy to get round. Think if I went again I would do a guided tour. Lots of photos and information.
Museum great, very interesting. Only downside was it was chaotic in the entrance as it was the same way in and out. Crowds of people all going different ways. Needs better organisation.
Very interesting! Really worth the money! The line was super busy when we arrived so it was really good to walk straight to the front!
Walked right to the front of the que. So easy to use ticket and a good price 👌 Was very busy and not a lot of room but l visited over a Polish holiday so this may be why
So easy to book, great communication and gave us the opportunity for us to see and hear something very historic
Great museum! Well worth the price and could have spent much more time there reading everything. Very interactive
The temp exhibition was very interesting Done the self guided tour which was glad of as noticed the people on the guided tour were really rushed through and would have missed alot
Excellent museum but would've liked a display or more how the factory worked a production liñe or something instead of alot of reading as too much people with guides so couldn't get to read everything
very well done museum, worth visiting to learn more about ww2 in Krakow. It's important to buy tickets beforehand, the line is never ending!
The museum was a reminder of what happened. It made me aware of the suffering that people endured before and during the war.
