Oska was fantastic from the moment he picked us up at the hotel until he dropped us back. Travelling with the family my mum has mobility issues and he helped with finding the disabled toilets and dropping us closer to the entrance etc. He also helped and rescued mum when her mobility scooter ran out of charge! The experience of visiting Auschwitz was humbling and something we felt compelled to do. The guide was extremely informative and helpful too. I would absolutely recommend Oska for anyone looking for a supportive and friendly trip! Thanks again Oska!

Historic castle complex located on Wawel Hill, overlooking the Vistula River. It is one of the most significant cultural and architectural landmarks in Poland and a symbol of Polish national pride.
Auschwitz was the main and most famous of the six concentration and extermination camps established by Germany to implement the Final Solution policy, which aimed at the mass murder of European Jews. It was built in German-occupied Poland, initially as a concentration camp for Poles, later also for other nationalities. To get to know the place, it is necessary to visit both parts of the former camp - Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau. We have to spend about 2 hours to stay in Auschwitz and about 1 hour to Birkenau.
Located between the Auschwitz I main camp and Auschwitz II-Birkenau, the Judenramp served as the initial point of arrival from 1942 until May 1944. At this location, SS officers conducted the infamous "selections," where arriving prisoners were divided into those deemed fit for forced labor and those sent directly to the gas chambers.
The building that served as the residence of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp commandant Rudolf Höss and his family from 1940 - 1944. Höss was one of the main architects of the Holocaust. He introduced the system of mass murder using gas, initially with shower rooms filled with Zyklon B, and later systematically developing the camp's facilities, such as gas chambers and crematoria. His actions at Auschwitz led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. After the war, Höss was captured by the Allies and tried for his war crimes. In 1947, following a trial in Poland, he was sentenced to death and executed by hanging in Auschwitz, near the camp he had so brutally overseen.
Auschwitz II-Birkenau was the second, much larger camp that was part of the Auschwitz complex. It was established in 1941, about 3 kilometers west of the main Auschwitz I camp, and became one of the most well-known sites associated with the Holocaust. Birkenau was primarily a death camp, where the mass extermination of Jews, Roma, political prisoners, and other groups persecuted by the Nazi regime took place. The Birkenau camp complex consisted of numerous barracks, as well as powerful gas chambers and crematoria, where the Nazis carried out mass murders of prisoners who were transported to the camp from all over Europe. It is estimated that about 1 million people died in Birkenau, mainly Jews, but also Roma, Poles, prisoners of war, and other victims of the Nazi regime.

We had a fantastic experience with Oskar, and I would highly recommend booking with him if you're planning to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau. From the very beginning, his communication via WhatsApp was excellent. He was responsive, friendly and made sure everything was well organised. He picked us up from our accommodation at 6 am in a very comfortable vehicle and took care of everything throughout the day. He made sure we were handed over to the correct tour guide at Auschwitz, organised our lunch, transported us to Birkenau, and then drove us safely back to our accommodation. It really made the entire experience so much easier. We also had an unexpected issue with Viator accidentally cancelling our booking due to a problem with my credit card. Oskar was incredibly understanding, flexible and helpful in getting everything sorted without any fuss. What really stood out was his friendly, energetic and positive attitude. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and everything was handled professionally from start to finish. If you're visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau, I would definitely recommend booking with Oskar. He takes all the hassle out of the arrangements so you can focus on the visit itself.
Everything was very well organized from start to finish. We received clear and helpful information the day before, and were also offered the option to purchase lunch boxes. We were glad we did, as they contained plenty of food, snacks, and drinks at a reasonable price. The pick-up and transportation in both directions were smooth and efficient. Our guide at Auschwitz-Birkenau was extremely knowledgeable and presented the history with great insight, professionalism, and respect. Although it was an early departure and an early guided tour, this meant we returned to Kraków relatively early and were still able to make the most of the rest of the day. Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau is a deeply moving and important experience.
Oskar, our driver, was excellent - so helpful I even called him the next day because I was having problems getting a transfer to the airport as it was the Lisbon half-marathon.
Amazing visit to Krakow and it with this amazing company. Oskar and his team did everything and more. We booked 2 tours through them both with private transfers. The rate was very reasonable and the experience even more memorable. They were early to the pick ups, communicative, and the friendliest people. Doing the promise option albeit more pricey is the best way to save time and go see the rest of Krakow.
We used this company for our transfer from Kraków Airport to our hotel in the city centre. The day after, we also booked a private guided tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau with them. Everything went smoothly and exactly as planned. We were very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them. Five out of five!
Aleksandra was right on time and great about getting us where we needed to be, the car was really nice. Our guide was knowledgeable and with the appropriate demeanor given the setting of the tour. Overall a very good experience
Oscar, our private driver to Auschwitz provided a perfect experience. Great communication throughout, on time, even provided us with a lovely lunch during midway break in tour. We learned so much from him during drive time. What an accomplished, well-mannered young man! If you can manage it, private driver is the way to go!
Amazing, private, case, reliable, knowledgeable. The only way to visit and book with them.
Amazing guide , private and real pleasure . Very knowledgeable, great launch box provided also. Perry grade A service from start. No lines or queues to wait. All smooth and fast.
What a wonderful experience with this company. We had a private ride and tour at our own pace and with our own guide provided by the museum. 100% worth it. We could ask questions and had the tour designed to what we needed. They are professional and trustworthy and knowledgeable. Every detail was taken care of. Thank you for all you do and for making this tour memorable on so many levels.
We had a great experience here! A big thank you to Oskar for contact, Alexandria for dropping off & picking up, and especially our guide Teresa. The whole team was professional, patient, and very responsible throughout the tour. Teresa explained everything in great detail and answered our questions with care. We learned so much from this experience.
This was an absolutely fantastic tour. Our driver had a beautiful car, was so professional and personable, and the drive was so smooth. The guide was so informative, sensitive and gave so many details and stories. I cannot fault a single thing and I would 100 percent recommend. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled to because this tour was absolutely perfect. Oskar messaged prior to the tour, and the driver George messaged on the the day and was ready to pick us up straight after the tour. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience
Our driver Oskar was absolutely terrific!!! I highly recommend this booking. There were some things I didn’t understand and Oskar was extremely helpful making sure I had everything set up the way I needed for my family. My husband also had a bag leg and he was extremely helpful making sure he was able to do what was possible and went the extra mile. I can’t say enough good things about our experience.
Prior to the visit date we were kept informed of timings and transport. This also included drivers names and advice on the tour itself. We visited during a very hot spell, which not only did events organisers advise us about, but the recommendation of pre ordering a lunch/food box as time is tight between the two camps. These were great value and a fine selection. The transport was modern, air conditioned with a friendly, knowledgeable driver. The tour guide was knowledgeable on all aspects visited and with a wide range of questions asked. They were also mindful of the extreme weather conditions ensuring the group were prepared and kept in the shade where possible. A humbling and sober tour, delivered in a professional manner from start to finish.
Our operator Oskar arrived punctually in a nice minivan and regaled us with information on Poland and Auschwitz en route to the Auschwitz trip. He took care of everything and entry into the museum with our private guide was very smooth! He also arranged our linch boxes and was promptly waiting for us at pickup points. We are very happy and satisfied with the trip and his arrangements. Oskar was very responsive with queries and made all arrangements on the phone and lived up to all his promises! Thanks Oskar
Our tour exceeded our expectations! Barbara was our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the history of the Krakow Jewish quarter and Schindler's factory. She was friendly and helpful. Couldnt have asked for more. Highly recommend!!!
Wonderfully painless. Oskar picked us up right at our doorway in Krakow and delivered us safely to our guide at Auschwitz. He made sure that we had water, restrooms, etc without us having to ask. The tour experience is draining, so having a safe, comfortable ride back home was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend -Oskar is an excellent driver.
Our driver arrived timely and got us to our destination. He arranged for our tickets to the museum, and waited till our tour was over to bring us back to Krakow. It was effortless!
Everything was perfect, from the booking to the communication prior and the day itself. Oskar is wonderful and I would recommend everyone to book with him. Auschwitz is a must see, heartbreaking but eye-opening. It was drizzling when we went but the tour was efficient, well managed. Thank you, Oskar for arranging this in advance and making sure we had the chance to go.
Oscar was an excellent driver—punctual, professional, and equipped with a very comfortable vehicle. He thoughtfully organized our entire tour and was always easy to communicate with. Since we were on the first tour of the day, he even made sure to have food prepared for us during the midway break, which was a much-appreciated touch.
Oskar was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. All aspects of the trip worked perfectly. My friends and I were impressed with his service and would use his company again on any return visits to Krakow
Highly recommend. An excellent service provided by Oskar. Great communication right from booking. He picked us up and took care of us all day, getting us exactly where we needed to be with no stress. A moving tour and a must do if in Krakow. The lunch he provided was perfect. We even used him to organise our airport transfers. Truly can’t recommend Oskar enough.
Oskar was among. Highly recommend. Was on time for hotel pick up and delivered us safely and on time for our tour stayed with us until he handed fed off to the state tour guide. Recommend for professionalism and promo was. Great guy. Enjoyed our conversation on German and Polish history. Recommend you meet and work with Oskar!
We arranged a private tour to Auschwitz in early January with Oskar. He met us promptly at our hotel in a very comfortable car for the 3 of us. He went out of his way to be flexible and accommodate our tight schedule even arranging box lunches for us to eat in the car after the tour. The tour itself was very moving and a must see experience. Oskar met us when we exited with our museum-assigned guide and took us to our hotel for a quick stop an then a drop off at our next event. 5 stars for sure on this service, maybe even 6 if that was an option!
Thank you very much for the excellent organization of our Auschwitz tour. Everything was perfectly arranged, without any delays or queues. Many thanks to Oskar and Aleksandra for their professionalism and care.
Alexandra, our driver was just lovely. She was friendly, polite and really looked after us. She took us into the building and waited for our tour guide to collect us, picked us up a lovely packed lunch while we did the first part of the tour, met us in between to take us on to Birkenau. Took us back to hotel after. I can’t fault the service provided. Great value for money. Highly recommend 😊
Oscar was extremely helpful ensuring that we managed to get on a guided tour. The demand for these tours is huge. Oscar worked very hard to ensure two places. Great packed lunch and friendly driver. A very memorable experience. Thank you
Oskar provided a great service, organised everything including a sandwich during the break between the two camps, which was as welcome as it was unexpected. He was very informative and nothing too much trouble. His restaurant recommendations are also excellent! Auschwitz is an unparalleled experience. Everyone should do it if they have the opportunity.
Everything was amazing . The tour was according to plan . Next time I visit Cracóvia I Will booking everything with you and I Will recomend to my friends who visit Cracóvia 😉
The best personal tour experience we have had. Oskar made everything from booking forward easy. Our pre-arrival communications were clear and timely. On the day of our visit our pick up was smooth the ride was comfortable and quick. Oskar helped us navigate the entry and made sure we had what we needed throughout the day. He was kind and considerate. Our ride back to Krakow was great. We were so impressed with the experience and will be back!! Thank you for making our experience memorable!
Excellent service!! Oskar did his best to arrange everything to our liking. Even got some glutenfree snacks for me, since I am celiac. The ride from the hotel was wonderful with Ola. We felt so pampered! Great tour! Would definitely recommend!
Going to Auschwitz is so much easier with a driver and guide. In all the grind of our previous travels, it was nice to just have someone else take care of us and always point us in the right direction. We so appreciated Oskar and his wife Aleksandra for all their help in our Auschwitz and Birkenau tours. They are the best even with taking us for really good Polish sausage in the woods on the way back to our hotel!
Oskar was the best guide we have had on this trip. He was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We would highly recommend him and absolutely use him again. He made sure we had a smooth and enjoyable trip.
Oskar was amazing. We had an issue with a last minute booking and he went above and beyond to help me get last minute tickets. He told me it didn't happen often (so keep your expectations low), but...it did happen. Oskar called ahead and sent a team to the museum. He had great follow up and I am really grateful. This tour is sobering and tough to get through, but everyone should do it to really understand the scale of the horror. Thank you Oskar and team!
Oskar arranged everything at very short notice and the whole tour went like clock work. He also arranged a separate tour to the salt mine. It was a 5 star service all round!
We chose to splash out and have private travel for this trip. Oskar picked us up at our apartment at the given time. It was a very comfortable car. Oskar was very helpful. He was happy to answer questions regarding the trip and also about anything else. He was very kind to supply snacks and water and comfort breaks were not a problem. Oskar left nothing to chance. He ushered us through the reception of the trip and was waiting for us as it ended. He made a difficult day as easy as possible.
Oskar was fantatsic, well organised and communicating to make sure we had the best experience possible. He had a tough task of getting tickets at short notice and managed it. Then proceeded to make sure the whole day ran smoothly, addressing all out needs including low carb diet. Oskar was pivotal in making the weekend experience unique - highly recommend and will be using him again for the salt mines
Oskar was very very helpful, he went above and beyond necessary and made the day even better. We thoroughly enjoyed having a private transfer, he had a comfy and clean car for the journey. He also helped us with recommendations for the rest of our trip, would highly recommend his services to anyone interested in exploring Krakow and its sights and history!
Oskar was great during our trip to tour Auschwitz and Birkenau! He was very easy to talk to during the drive and was happy to answer any questions and provide information about the area. His car was clean and comfortable, and we arrived on time and easy to follow him to where we needed to be.
An experience everyone who visits Poland should undertake. It is heavy, it is sad, it is heartbreaking, but it is essential.
Oscar picked us up right on time at our hotel and took us to Aushwitz in a very comfortable sedan. Though a very difficult day in itself, Oscar was the perfect driver. He made sure we got to the tour on time, gave us a wonderful sack lunch (the vegan sandwich was sooo good) which we ate while driving to Berkenau (a lovely option to the shuttle) and answered all our questions. Highly recommend.
Alexandra picked us up right on time in the hotel lobby. She had water for us, and as the drive began, she gave us with an overview of our tour. She also provided some other basic information along the way and was happy to answer our questions. When we arrived at Auschwitz, she got our tickets and escorted us through the checkpoints, then waited with us to make sure we got on the correct tour. She also explained where she would be waiting after the tour with lunch boxes for us. Lunch was delicious: cheese and vegetable baguette (she arranged for a vegetarian option for us both), fruit drink, banana, nuts and a chocolate bar. After lunch, we travelled on the shuttle with the same guide to Birkenau. Alexandra was waiting for us when we returned and got us safely back to our hotel. She is an excellent and very safe driver and we greatly appreciated the service and hospitality. Our guide, Lucas, at Auschwitz-Birkenau was excellent (group of approx. 20). The tour is relatively fast paced, there is a lot to see and absorb, with lots of walking (over 10,000 steps) and standing. Lucas was extremely knowledgeable and provided the somber history and facts with the due respect warranted. We would highly recommend this tour … the private transfers were wonderful especially at the end of a tiring day, and the escorted tour meant smaller group size and less waiting for the shuttle transfer between camps.
educational but sad experience lots of walking luckily good weather felt rushed unable to hear guide at times
I highly recommend this company, Oskar is a very reliable and will go out of his way to accommodate you to his full capabilities. Oskar goes above and beyond to make your trip memorable. His expertise is by far the best I have dealt with while travelling Europe.
Our guide Oskar drove us from Krakow to Auschwitz and then back to Krakow. Although he did not do the tour at Auschwitz/Birkenau ( this was done by a museum guide), Oskar was extremely friendly and engaged us with insightful and interesting conversation during the drives, sharing information about Poland and the areas we were driving through, as well as his experiences living there. He was very polite and knowledgeable; also extremely flexible during our time with him, even stopping a couple of times along the drive to point something out to us. Highly recommend!!
Oskar was great! Good clean car, very knowledgeable of the area. Good communication for pickup and drop off times. Highly recommend!
This tour operator is accommodating and professional! We had to change our plans last minute and the operator worked with us in order to flex to our new situation.
So glad we booked this tour with Oskar. While lots of tourists had to queue for hours for tickets Oskar had us sorted and took great care of us, collecting us from our apartment bang on time, showing us exactly where to go in Auschwitz, and even bringing us water and lunch boxes so that our visit was smooth and without any unpleasant delays or hiccups. He kept our luggage for us all day and then dropped us back to the airport for our flight home. It was so nice to be looked after so well.
Our experience was better than we hoped so ! Oskar is a great guide, he made it all clear for us! We will recomend his work to the most people We can !!
