Got there and was told they have no space, we told them we had a reservation. We were sat on the side of the stage where we could not see anything. Then the table which was really for 1 person was pulled out and we were made to sit on short poofs with no back. I am 62 AND DISABLED! The best part of it was the performers who engaged us all. The food sucked!

Itinerary
Begin your evening at Michalik's Cave in central Krakow. Once a bustling hub for the city’s bohemian crowd, you'll see that the venue has preserved its artsy atmosphere, as you sit among paintings and caricatures of Krakow artists, writers and journalists. Relax and enjoy as the concert and dance performance begins. Learn about Polish traditions and folklore as you watch performers dressed in regional costumes tell their stories through dance and folk music. If you feel like getting up on your feet, you’ll be invited to join in with the dancing, too. Afterward, savor a 3-course dinner of traditional Polish fare amid the lively atmosphere. With appetites sated, your dinner show will conclude after the meal.

Very subdued atmosphere. Food was very average and my main dish was a non vegetarian but no meat on the plate at all just potatoes cabbage and a bread dish. Dancers and singers were great though but only 2 dancers and 3 instrument players. Convenient if you don’t want to be bused out somewhere but you will also need to pay for your drinks.
Had such a great night, the Polish Folk dancers and band were really good. I was one of the people who got pulled up to dance and it was so much fun. Only down side is that it's a set menu, the soup was delicious but the meat in the main course wasn't that appetising, the potatoes were perfect though as was the salad. I wasn't fond of the dessert but everyone's different, others might love it. Still had the best time ever so it's definitely worth it.
The dancing and single were very enjoyable. They also seem to get everyone involved dancing and clapping. It was a nice evening.
The folk group themselves were 5 out 5, but were let down by the poor service of the restaurant. Service was slow and drinks were expensive.
The only saving grace was the entertainment. The food was inedible apart from the dessert and the drinks were extortionate. We even had to pay for water. Don't waste your money.
My wife Loved this tour. The best tour of our vacation! My wife came into this tour in a terrible mood and left so happy I was amazed. I had a great time dancing around too. Some of the reviews said the food was not good, but my wife, who loves good Polish food, said the food was great. You must do this tour if you are in Krakow, Poland. You will not be disappointed!
I was a bit worried about booking this show with kids (based on the food reviews) but this was VERY family friendly! The kids had tomato soup with pasta, and cheese blintz for dinner, they were very very happy. The dancers and singers were excellent, very engaging for the whole group and the kids got up and joined in! Great location (and easy to find) this would be a “can’t miss” for me!
Nice folk-sy show with a dinner you might expect at a dinner show. Drinks extra. If you have time and can get a reservation, you should go!
The show was great. Live music with dancing and singing. The three course meal was 1. Soup. 2. Meat, vegetable and salad. 3. Dessert. We enjoyed everything.
We enjoyed it. We would recommend it for anyone looking for entertainment and a good meal. Be prepared to join in the dancing
The atmosphere from start to finish was absolutely amazing. The dancers included everyone. The whole entertainment was brilliant in a beautiful setting. Food not for me but I'm picky but there is something for everyone. They cater for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. I'd definitely do it again if I ever visit Krakow.
The entertainment was good - average - and they seek audience to dance and participate. The food was not. The three course meal was sub par at best. Not fresh, crazy salty. No drink is included so you end up paying more.
Show was great but food was bland and we were given no choice. The venue was good. Staff were ok. The food let it down for us though.
The meal was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed the folk dancing but the price of the drinks was expensive. £85 for a jug of water, 1x lager and 2x wine.
Me and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed ourselves 😊 the soup was lovely, main was turkey with potato and salad it was delicious! Dessert was an apple pie cake which was also delicious 😊 the act was incredible, great singing and dancing and they involve the guests too which is great fun! I honestly can’t understand why this has such bad reviews, I think it’s just people being miserable and fussy 🙄
Not impressed with the show or food. Show consisted of 3 people and 2 musicians, not entertaining at all. Food was processed turkey, mash potato and cabbage . Cake- we didn’t touch it. Not traditional polish food at all- as it was promised. Waste of money in my opinion. Left hungry and disappointed.
The Polish Folk Show was fun. The dancers and band got everyone involved and we all became a part of the show. The food was just ok in my opinion. Overall it was a nice and entertaining evening.
We enjoyed the show, very entertaining. The atmosphere in one of the oldest restaurants in Krakow was great along with the location in Old Town. The service staff was friendly and exceptional. We knew going in that the food wouldn't be terrific, but this disappointingly exceeded our expectations. Glad the drinks were good!
It would be nice to have had advanced information on the menu and any alternatives. Also it should be noted they do not sell wine by the glass.
the dancing was good, not great. the food left a lot to be desired. i was, perhaps, not well informed as to what to expect. i would not recommend this.
Not good at all The dance was ok, the soup was great but when it came to main plate, it was really bad, turkey meatloaf cold and no taste on top of a tomatoes sauce , boiled potatoes and coleslaw , the price that I paid is extremely high for what they give you. And you need to pay for tap water 17.00 sloths Over price for service and food.
It is a typical local Polish experience of culture and food. I expected a bit more. The venue is quite old and the show guests share the area with normal visitors. So nog very exclusive. The staff were very efficient given the size of the group. Some improvements required.
We had a lovely evening, folk show was good, people joined in, very friendly staff food good too , worth the cost to go
There was a lot of audience participation in the folk dancing, which the others appeared to enjoy but the food was atrocious and the drinks massively over priced. The Polish wine was undrinkable. We would not recommend this activity at all!
Fun night with a lovely folk show and great musicians. It would have been useful to understand the stories behind the music/dances and also have sight of a menu beforehand though
This was such a fun and engaging evening. Music, dancing, and food of Poland. The venue was in a great location and everyone inside was kind and helpful. 100% recommend.
It is important to understand that you are paying to see and possibly participate in an entertaining musical performance by skilled musicians, singers, and dancers. The restaurant serves a meal with the show, but the food was not the highlight. If you're okay with that, then you will likely have a fine evening. If, however, you go for the dinner, you may be left disappointed. The soup was outstanding, but the main course was quite underwhelming, mostly slice of a crustless bread with a coin-sized center of meat-flavored something. Dessert was okay, but we can't even remember what it was. The show, however, was spectacular! Two musicians played lively tunes while a young blond lady with a beautiful soprano voice sang in Polish and danced with other performers. At some points in the performance, the dancers/singers invited audience members to join them for the dances, and that was a lot of fun! We loved the show and had a blast joining in with the performers. So, if you consider this a musical performance with a bit of food, you may like it better than if you consider it a restaurant with live music and entertainment. There is no choice of food items unless you have some allergies (they may accommodate that) so you eat what you are served. We had an entertaining evening, but we were disappointed about the food quality.
Something out of the ordinary to do in Kracow, this was a great experience. The dancing to an accordian and violin was very enjoyable and customers were able to join in at times. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The decor of the restaurant was very interesting pure art nouveau which had been there sine the late 19th century. The ambience was very good.
The show was fun. The atmosphere was great. I enjoyed it. The food was too authentic for me. I wish instead of turkey we had pierogies or pork.
Very nice and interactive music and dances! Loved the experience and food although I wished they told us what we were eating.
First off, this is my first ever one star review. This is simply a tourist trap that is not honest. Your "authentic" Polish meal consists of pressed turkey patties with mashed potatoes and salad. The service is extremely slow. No drinks are included with the meal. Even tap water costs $5 per carafe. The dancers were ok but it was a strange setup. Short show, then a break while appetizers were served, than a second part. Better options are available.
Enjoyable night. Some nice traditional dancing and signing. Highly recommend . Lovely traditional polish food served during performance
Outstanding show and delicious meal ! Certainly a fun experience for all ages that gives you an authentic feel of Poland.
Show and setting 10/10! Great venue good drinks ( all extra). Food was sub par. Read reviews that you are going for the show only- they were spot on. Glad we ate ahead of time. If you go with no expectation to enjoy dinner - you will have a great time.
The dancers were amazing. Food was OK but I was expecting schnitzel we were given 2 medallions of I don't know what with a very strange texture!
Myself and my friends really enjoyed the show encouraged people to get up and dance and have fun with them . Food wasn’t the best but we still enjoyed ourselves
Don’t bother going as the food was worse than canteen food. Minced rolled turkey!! Were charged £3 for a carafe of water plus 10% service charge!! Could not hear what the entertainer was saying. All in all a complete waste of money
We had a wonderful experience here The history of the restaurant is interesting , the staff were so kind and friendly , there is a huge selection of drinks available , the two shows were entertaining and they engage really well with all the diners , they even had my husband up dancing , we had a really lovely experience here , the food was plentiful and the only reason I left some was in trying to be good on a diet ! 🤣 but not unpleasant at all , it was our last night in krakow and it totally summed up our little holiday we loved it ! The music was superb and the traditional costumes were beautiful . The decor and fixtures in the restaurant were museum pieces and I was looking at all the artwork on display lovely to see the real heritage of such buildings still present
We had a lot of fun! The performers were interactive and engaging. The food was good and served hot. Enjoyed the whole experience.
I had to wait for a hostess to seat me, when she finally appeared she took the couple behind me first, as they began speaking Polish to her. I felt that was very rude. The musicians and singers (3) were talented, the two dancers were okay. They did encourage audience participation and since mostly everyone joined in, it was fun. It was kind of boring and a little "cheesy" as far as the performance. The food wasn't really very good. We were served a sour soup with pieces of maybe kielbasa type bits in it, a dish with turkey or maybe chicken roll, mashed potatoes, and a cabbage slaw with a sour dressing, and an apple filled cake that wasn't baked properly. I don't recommend this activity if you want to see a more professional show and you can find much better food elsewhere.
Brilliant venue, fantastic atmosphere, lovely food, and wonderful traditional polish folk songs, singing, dancing, folk legends and audience participation. The night is just brilliant and great value for the money. I fully recommend anyone visiting Krakow to book this trip
Such a fun great night !! Food was really nice and good size courses. I wouldn’t normally get up and dance, but you can’t help yourself. The Polish dancers and musicians were amazing and really got the audience to participate. Would highly recommend.
Wow what a great night this was amazing polish dancing and singing with some unbelievable local food. Loved everything about this night
Excellent experience, great restaurant, food and people . Would definitely recommend. A must for all visitors in Krakow.
We really enjoyed this show and the wonderful meal. When we travel we love to get an idea of the traditional celebrations of locals. This certainly provided that! The music was so uplifting and they even had some on the group join in the dances. So much fun!
The food was superb, the staff were so friendly and it was incredible value. Would recommend this restaurant for you stay in Krakow.
Show was great good not so much. The food was bland not too much flavor it could be better more colors
This was a lovely night. The show was great and they interacted with the crowd. The food was lovely and they gave me a beautiful alternative as I don’t eat red meat or pork.i would strongly recommend this trip if you want to experience the polish culture. The venue is easy to find just off the main square.
We did not enjoy this experience. The meal was very poor and the entertainment was mediocre. We felt it was not good value for money and a poor representation of Polish food and culture. We left feeling hungry and disappointed!
