Sylwia was an amazing guide/host! The location was great for cooking/eating, and she did a great job staggering the cooking so everyone could make pierogi. Her English was amazing, and she engaged with everyone, asking where we were from and where we were traveling next. She gave us tips on how to make the perfect filling and dough, and how to make sure they don't come apart while boiling. Couldn't recommend this enough!

What could be more fun than to make your own perogies and get to eat them? Small group of attendees allowed for a very personal and delicious experience. Sylwia was our wonderful perogies cook and had everything coordinated perfectly. She knew exactly what to do at every step. The event was timed perfectly which included time to chat with other attendees from around the world. I strongly recommend this event to travelers looking to experience the food and culture of Poland.
We did a Pierogi Class with Magda and it was such a fantastic experience! Magda is an absolute delight and very knowledgeable about food and local history. The work stations were set up so nicely for a great class. The class was in the back room of a restaurant, very nice and cozy. It took around 1.5 hours for two people. Our pierogis turned out perfect and we can't wait to try making them at home. HIGHLY recommend!!!
The pierogi-making class was hands down one of the highlights of our entire trip through the Czech Republic and Poland!! **Magda was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!** Our kids had the best time, and honestly, so did all of the adults! We laughed, learned how to make delicious pierogi, and had so much fun along the way. If I could do this experience all over again, I absolutely would! Magda's hospitality was amazing. She made everyone feel so welcome and comfortable, especially the kids! She also gave us so many great recommendations on where to eat, what to see, and things to do around Kraków, which we really appreciated. We've done quite a few activities throughout our travels, and this was easily one of our favorites! If you're visiting Kraków, especially with kids, **DO NOT MISS THIS!** Such a fun, memorable experience, and one we'll be talking about for a long time! Thank you, Magda, for such a wonderful experience!! ❤️
An absolute must do when visiting Poland! My husband and I had so much fun learning how to make pierogi. Maria sent us the recipes after the class, and we can't wait to try them at home!
We had a wonderful time with Maria! She was friendly and skilled at cooking. She made the process feel fun and we ended up with delicious pierogis and a very memorable experience. Definitely book this class if you’re looking for an activity in Krakow!
Very friendly and quaint room to prepare foods in
Such an awesome experience! Magda F was an excellent guide! She was super knowledgeable about peirogis and polish cuisine and very kind! 10/10 experience!
Magda was amazing! So friendly & helpful. Her knowledge is very impressive & her instructions very easy to follow. We loved the whole experience & enjoyed our perogis very much. I would highly recommend.
This was such a fun class!! Olga was a great instructor and so sweet! We made savory and sweet pirogies from catch and they were delicious! It was a great evening!
We had the BEST experience learning the art of pierogi making with Magda F! It was the highlight of our trip to Poland. She took us through the process, step by step; very easy to follow. She also shared stories of Poland's history and traditions; many of which my parents had taught us as children. Magda also shared some recipes for other Polish dishes - which we are in the process of testing out upon our return to the US. I would definitely recommend this class and any others taught by Magda F. She is a delight!
Fun experience come hungry! Our guide was great and made it if dummy proof. Also met some new people in our group which was fun too!
We had a lot of fun making pierogis with Magda! She was the sweetest, explained different ways to make pierogis and made sure everyone was satisfied with their cooking class. She even gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip!
Was super fun. My mother and I took the class. It was organized, yummy, and would recommend. We made both sweet and savory
Sylwia our teacher was fantastic Lovely warm welcome Really friendly, super clear encouraging instructions. Excellent delicious experience highly recommend
This class exceeded our expectations. Sylwia taught us from start to finish in a way we can (hopefully) duplicate at home. We can't wait to try out her recipes for ourselves. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher and the best of it, we got to eat everything we made! Delicious!
Sylwia was the host for my Pierogi cooking class and it was excellent. She was very patient and guided me through each step, with very good introduction of Polish recipe Thank you Sylwia
Magda F taught our group so much about the culture, background and skills needed to make pierogis. Our group from 5 different countries created a delicious meal and gained more appreciation of the Polish culture.
If I could give this experience more than five stars, I absolutely would! The Delicious Poland cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Kraków. From the moment we arrived, everything was so well organised and welcoming. The class was held in a beautiful restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere, making it feel like much more than just a cooking lesson—it was a true celebration of Polish food and culture. A huge thank you goes to Magda, who was simply outstanding. Magda was friendly, funny, patient, and made everyone feel instantly at ease. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she created such a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere that everyone was chatting and laughing together within minutes. Magda is a wonderful teacher and a fantastic ambassador for Polish cuisine. What I loved most about Delicious Poland is how passionate they are about preserving Poland’s culinary heritage. Learning how to make traditional pierogi wasn’t just about cooking—it was about understanding the history, traditions, and pride behind these wonderful recipes. You can really tell that Delicious Poland cares deeply about sharing authentic Polish culture with visitors. The class was perfect for everyone. We took part as a family, but it would also be fantastic for couples, groups of friends, solo travellers, and children. It’s such a hands-on, interactive experience that everyone gets involved, and it’s a brilliant way to meet other people from around the world. And the best part? The pierogi were absolutely delicious! There’s something incredibly satisfying about sitting down to enjoy food that you’ve made yourself, especially when it’s guided by someone as encouraging and knowledgeable as Magda. If you’re visiting Kraków, make time for a class with Delicious Poland. It’s fun, authentic, welcoming, brilliantly organised, and leaves you with wonderful memories (and new cooking skills to take home!). Thank you, Magda, for making the experience so memorable, and thank you to Delicious Poland for doing such an amazing job of keeping Poland’s food traditions alive and sharing them with visitors from all over the world. Without a doubt, this is a five-star experience… and beyond! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
What a great fun experience, Olga was brilliant. Everything was well organized and friendly, after making the Pierogi we sat and ate them, absolutely delicious. Really recommend this cooking day.
We had the best time making pierogis with Magda. She gave very positive, helpful and clear instruction and supported us with each step. After this class, I'm excited to make pierogis at home. I definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for a unique and delicious experience during their time in Krakow.
The experience is hosted at a restaurant just northwest of Old Town. Olga was a fantastic teacher! Would recommend as a fun family activity in Krakow!
Really enjoyed the Pierogi Cooking Class: Mastering the Art of Polish Dumplings it was a great very nostalgic experience for me. I remember watching and helping my mum making pierogi when I was growing up. I'd never made them from scratch though. Our instructor, Sylvia, was wonderful taking our class through the process step by step and giving us lots of helpful hints and advice along the way. The making of the dumplings was both easy and relaxing under her expert instruction. We made both cheese and potato and fruit pierogi which we were able to eat during the workshop. I would thoroughly recommend this experience. Dziekuje bardzo Sylwia
Olga was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My family enjoyed the experience of cooking and eating the pierogi together!
Highly recommend this as an immersion in to the Polish Culture! Maria was a fantastic instructor: extremely patient! Professional but also friendly and curious about her students. It was so exciting to eat our concoction!
I did enjoy the class and will try to make the pierogis when I return home. I rated it a four because of the cost value.
We had a great time with Maria - she so nice and patient and we also enjoyed the others in our group. Such a fun 2 hour activity and it tasted good too.
Great experience with a great teacher, very informative and fun activity in a good location to the old town
This was a fantastic experience, made even better by Olga who was so knowledgeable and kind and patient!
We booked spontaneous this cooking class for lunch, cause AirBnB highlighted it. Surprisingly it wasn’t only a personalized advertisement, but such a great experience, too. My girlfriend and me were luckily the only ones attending and we had Sylwia as such a great teacher. We followed Sylwia’s calm instructions, did chat about traveling highlights, or countries and handmade our own Pierogi. So we learned that attending a local cuisine course is probably the best way to get in touch with the culture and you have lunch, too. Thanks a lot Sylwia for such a great time and experience 😘
We made pierogi with Sylvia she was really lovely and provided a fun experience for us. She gave us lots of helpful recommendations for food and attractions in Krakow
We had such a wonderful time at the pierogi-making class! Sylwia was incredibly helpful and shared meaningful stories about her family’s pierogi-making traditions. After preparing both sweet and savory varieties, we were able to sit down and enjoy everything we made. We even received the recipe and are excited to start a new tradition by adding pierogi-making to our family’s Christmas Eve preparations.
Sylwia was an amazing instructor! We made tonsssss of pierogi 🥟 and Sylwia even sent us recommendations for stuff to do and places to eat her favorite Polish dishes. Would recommend!
I highly recommend that anyone even remotely interested in Polish cuisine take this class. It was one of the highlights of our time in Krakow. Magda was incredibly kind and a pleasure to be around. This is a must do for couples visiting the city.
We had an amazing time at Sylwia's Pierogi Cooking Class! She was warm, welcoming, and a great teacher - patient with beginners and full of tips that made the whole process feel approachable and fun. We learned how to make traditional pierogi from scratch, and the results were delicious. If you're visiting Kraków and want a hands-on, authentic Polish food experience, this is it. Thank you, Sylwia!
Sylwia was a great teacher. The pierogi were amazing and we loved learning how to make them. I can’t wait to share these with my family when I return home. Great experience, thank you
Olga was very nice and made us welcomed! She walked us through all the steps of preparing pierogies and her recipe. She stayed after and chatted with us more about our trip and Poland. We made two types of pierogies.
Sylwia was absolutely amazing! The whole pierogi-making experience was so much fun, and sitting down to a delicious lunch afterward was the perfect highlight. Sylwia is incredibly open and curious, making the conversation just as good as the food. Highly recommend!
We were only the two of us so if felt like Magda gave us private cooking lesson. She shared a lot of tips with us about dumplings, her own life, Krakau,... We had the best time and the dumplings were amazing! 10/10 for Magda and her cooking class!
I love joining local cookery classes whenever I’m in a new place, and this pierogi making class with Sylwia did not disappoint. we were in a small group and Sylwia’s gentle presence made it easy for me to feel welcomed and comfortable despite attending solo. the recipe is so simple that if I were more cynical I might be thinking “I could just google the recipe or watch a Youtube video, no need to pay for a class!”, but then there were little anecdotes Sylwia shared of her family making tons of these mighty dumplings over many years, and simple, lovely chats we had as a group, that made the experience truly unique. and pierogies were of course scrumptious. what more can I ask for?
This was an excellent experience! Intimate and laid back, and genuinely informative too! Our group was led by Sylwia and she was excellent, she explained everything well and also made the class fun. I would highly recommend this experience and Sylwia as a teacher!
Sylvia was awesome! We had a great time :) Thankyou!
Was amazing!! Sylvia was super nice, told us what to do and shared her own memories and traditions with the dish we made❤️ would recommend
Absolutely great experience, we had so much fun making both savory and sweet pierogis with Olga. Highly recommend!
This was a great way to spend our first evening in Krakow! Sylwia was a fantastic host, she explained Polish traditions and gave us more recommendations for the city. Her passion made the experience engaging and a lot of fun. The food was fantastic aswell!
Overall this was a wonderful experience! We appreciated the small group size.! Sylwia did awesome job of turning us into pierogi pros!
My 20 years-old son and I attended to Magda’s Pierogi cooking lesson, and we both loved it. First of all, we were lucky enough to be alone with the Chef, like a very private lesson. Magda speaks very well English, she is patient, smiling, nice and makes her customers feel at ease and comfortable. Quantities of food ingredients are generous, so you’ll most probably take your Pierogi leftovers back to your Hotel, in a doggy bag. She was pleased to have French guests and we were happy to know more about Poland, because this cooking lesson went beyond simply “cooking”. I would recommend every tourist to experience this Pierogi Polish tradition !
Magda F. was a charming, knowledgeable and capable instructor. He stories and engagement made the class sparkle. We would not hesitate to take one of her classes in the future.
This was an amazing experience! Olga was a great teacher. Her pace was perfect to allow the session to keep moving with no downtime but still give us time to ask tons of questions. The class combined cooking with the story of pierogi and we made savory and sweet options that were both delicious. We took the leftovers home with us and cooked them on the stovetop in the apartment we rented for our stay. This was Olga's suggestion and it worked beautifully on both flavors! Probably the only thing I'd change is scheduling the class earlier in our stay as Olga gave some great ideas and tips for exploring Krakow and the food scene.
We loved it! We were a big group and our teacher Sylwia was so sweet and patient with us! I can only speak for myself but I had a great time and now feel confident enough to make my own pierogi at home. The complimentary beverage was a nice touch, and the fillings were mostly prepped in advance so that we could really focus on making and rolling the dough and shaping the pierogi correctly. We were in Poland for 2 weeks and looking back, this class was one of our trip highlights! Would definitely recommend!
