I booked this trip with trip advisor prior to arriving in Poland. Mirek was our tour guide and was brilliant from start to finish. He sent regular whats app messages regarding pick up location, food choices and general information prior to the trip. On the trip Mirek was friendly, informative and funny. He made the trip for my son and I. We would highly recommend.

A fantastic tour. We enjoyed the vodka and cheese tasting and found Haroune an excellent guide and very knowledgeable and polite.

A great day seeing a different part of Poland. Niko was interesting and did an excellent commentary, not too much information at any one time. He was so friendly and approachable. Our driver was also excellent - I even fell asleep which I don't usually do as I don't relax. Top score all round, thank you.

We came. We rode. We ate. We swam. 😎 ATVs, mountain views, good food and hot baths — basically a full day of making questionable decisions in the best possible way. 😂 Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Would 100% do it again! #askforPeter

This was a fabulous experience, from the time we got picked up by Pawel, he was such a friendly, kind caring man, made us feel so comfortable, explain everything from start to finish. Kept up-to-date via WhatsApp from meet ups and arrangements throughout the day. Vodka and cheese tasting experience was brilliant. The open House to see culture and ways of living amazing, the thermal baths was a truely amazing experience the tatra mountains with cable Car was brilliant. Definitely advise to try the toboggan ride. we loved it had so much fun. Guide and driver, were very friendly full of information and nothing was too much trouble

Kris and haroune were fabulous. So friendly and really went above and beyond especially for me. I left my bag in the thermal bath changing room and when I realised,I had a meltdown. Haroune calmed me down and my bag was located. He really helped. I would gladly book for excursions again because of kris and haroune. They really were a credit to the company. Absolutely brilliant day, for starters the guide haroune was both informative and kept us in the loop night before the tour. On the day we felt cared about and our experience was great because of it. Lots of humour in the bus to keep the journey time feel like it was quick. All the stops were well worthwhile to see old poland and experience some local culture (cheese and vodka too) thermal baths are not quite what expected, they are all heated pools rather than natural springs but still great and quite cheap for drinks as well

Fun and comfortable trip to a mountainous city with a great resourceful guide, Marek. Enjoyed the vodka and cheese tasting pitstop before getting to explore the town and enjoy the gorgeous views.

Excellent tour of Zakopane, Simon was a very enthusiastic and entertaining guide. We had an appropriate time at each of the destinations we were taken to. We feel the admission fee was reasonable for the experience we got. All in all a very good whole day out.

The experience was great. I thought 2.5 hours as Zakopane would have been enough but it wasn’t. I’m definitely thinking about going back and doing the trip when I’m next in Krakow. Haroune was great. Very informative, making sure we heard what he said and he had the confidence to speak to those that were that bit more loud on the bus but still had the ability to have banter. Kept to the schedule. Bus driver was great, kept the bus as cool as he could and always said hello when getting on the bus

Our tour guide, Haroune, is a living saint turned away from heaven and sent somewhere just about similar: Poland. This wonderful angel accommodated everyone wonderfully and made the experience worthwhile with his angelically comedic versatility and wonderful people skills. Drunk passengers? Piece of cake! Skipping cues? Easy! This archangel of Poland is a one-man crew and needs recognition for how wonderful he is, a billion stars if I could

Had a good day with the company however towards the end everything, changed I left my full review on the actual trip provided from company. But when dropping off we wasn't informed that we would be getting off the bus and into a mini bus just randomly pulling into a petrol station and saying this is your stop. And we left our phone on the bus, and Magde made little attempt to help us that we was to collect tomorrow... collect the phone tomorrow despite telling her through WhatsApp. That we flew home early tomorrow but no no no just we will leave your phone in a petrol station, somewhere heres the address, best of luck to you! Would i recommend this company, everything has been fine but the customer service provided from Magde... shows their true feelings and image. That they've got the money, provided the tour end of story!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY stay well away from Thousand Miles Tour Company booked through Get Your Guide. My friend & I (both ladies over 60) were left completely stranded by Thousand Miles when they left us behind about two & half hours from our hotel in the pitch black, taking all of our personal belongings including money, credit cards, passports, medication, our hotel room key & many other things with them in our bags on their bus, We didn’t know if we would retrieve our property & were due to fly home the next day. Whilst the company responded to my complaint saying I signed an agreement regarding wait times they have not been able to provide a copy of this. Claiming they had a time schedule to keep to meaning they could not wait for us or try to find us & yet they had time on the home journey to stop for the driver to have a cigarette! Being completely abandoned & stranded was an horrendous & terrible experience which will stay with us forever & considering the world we live in, is so very frightening to think of what could’ve happened. I am posting this so women stay safe in this world & do not find themselves in such a dangerous & vulnerable position because of this company. Please, please use an alternative. STAY AWAY,!

Our trip from Krakow to Zakopane, the traditional villages, and the thermal baths was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our visit. Everything was perfectly organized, from the hotel pick-up to the return, making the day completely stress-free. Our driver and guide, Mirek, was exceptional. He was punctual, friendly, and very professional, while also being warm and easy to talk to. He shared interesting information about the area and made the journey enjoyable from start to finish. Zakopane and the surrounding villages are incredibly beautiful, with stunning mountain views and a unique atmosphere. The thermal baths were the perfect way to relax and end the day. This trip is not just about transportation, but about the whole experience. I highly recommend this tour and especially Mirek to anyone visiting Krakow. It was a memorable and truly beautiful day.

Appalling treatment by this company. I have screenshots to show their “pilot” as they called him messaged me the night before adjusting the pickup time from 9 am to 8.05 am. I messaged him back twice to advise that I could not make 8.05 (prior commitment) and would be at hotel for pickup at 9 am. No further contact from him apart from message at 07.29 this morning. I didn’t pick the message up til 08.00 (prior commitment) and got to the hotel pickup point at 08.20 by which time they had left without me. Contacted the office to rearrange trip and they WOULD NOT rearrange NOR give me a refund. Beware! I have the messages on my phone to prove what happened and when but they pretty much said I was lying!

What a fantastic experience! Fabian exuded professionalism and was incredibly composed. The whole thing was well considered. the mood of the music, the temperature of the vehicle—which was, incidentally, driven by Konrad, a skilled driver—and the timing of each spot. I will unquestionably suggest Fabian and Konrad together as a tandem for the tour.

We really enjoyed our trip with Kaya & Michael. Well thought out and ran smoothly, but did not feel rushed. I felt we had a great personal experience and Kaya spoke excellent English with humour 😀

Beware! if not choosing the baths option... it means you sit for 3 hours doing nothing at the resort while the other people go to the pools. I thought that it would a separate tour so the people going to the pools would go there, and others would go back to Krakow.. no... The guide Simon was lovely and did everything he could to make our tour great. He tried to get us back to avoid sitting around for 3 hours but it was not in his control. I loved the little village and the cheese and "vodka" tasting and Zapone was amazing.. shame it wasn't great weather when I was there but I loved it anyway.

Thank to Lukas bus driver, I feel he is the best in all Krakov!!! 7 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, and our guide Fabian was very nice and interesting. Overall we got more than we expected.

Kaja was fabulous, very friendly, bubbly and always smiling, She was so informative during the journey to each of our destinations When we arrived at the shepherds hut she made me feel extra special as it was my birthday and I got all dressed up as a highlander and got lots of pictures taken We couldn’t of asked for a better guide On the return back to Krakow she also shared with us her top tips for excursions, pubs and good restaurants xx

I decided to visit the Thermal Spa in Katowice, Poland, and it turned out to be an absolutely brilliant trip! Everything was so well organised, and I have to say a big thank you to Marco and Lucas, who run the trips — they were fantastic hosts. They got Everyone involved & was full of high spirits, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Excellent value for money & well worth the travel.

Kaja our guide was lovely, we had a really nice day out she was very knowledgeable and good humoured. We packed a lot in to one day but enjoyed seeing traditional homes and learning about highlander culture.

Olaf picked us up right on time. Fabian was an excellent tour guide,helpfully speaking in Polish and English. He had a laid back manner and was helpful and patient when we had questions.

Our trip to Zakopane with Olaf of a thousandmiles.pl was a beautiful scenic trip and Olaf so informative and knowledgeable a total pleasure.

Olaf was our guide for this wonderful trip to Zakopane, it was a very special day seeing some of the beautiful countryside and highlands of Poland. We stopped for a smoked cheese tasting with some delicious Polish vodka chasers, then to a traditional village. We then went to Zakopane where we had time to explore, included in the price was the funicular railway to the top of the mountain. During the journey Olaf talked to us about the very interesting history of Poland, he also told us about the places we were passing through and visiting. He created a WhatsApp group with the other people on the trip and gave us recommendations on where to eat and what to see in Zakopane. This trip is really worth doing if you want to see the mountains and countryside, if you are lucky enough to have Olaf as your guide, you will be certain to have the best time.

Excellent communication from our host Niko before and during our fabulous day.This is one experience that I will remember for a long time.There was 5 of us on this excursion and Niko made us feel that the trip was personal to us.He made us all feel comfortable and delivered an excursion that was person centred.Niko I'd definitely an asset to the company he works for and delivered a VIP first class experience.Im coming back with my family in November and will book this company based on my own experience today.
