Itinerary
Begin your walk in the heart of Kraków’s Old Town, where history and flavor blend seamlessly. Taste the city’s most famous street snacks — the chewy obwarzanek, the crispy zapiekanka, and handmade pierogi from a local eatery. Raise a toast with a shot of traditional Polish vodka as your guide shares stories of how these simple foods became beloved national classics. Between bites, enjoy the charm of Kraków’s historic streets, full of life, legends, and hidden gems.
Continue to Stary Kleparz, Kraków’s oldest operating food market, where tradition still thrives amid colorful stalls and local chatter. Here, sample a variety of regional delicacies — smoked sausages, highlander cheeses (oscypek and bundz), tangy pickles, and old-fashioned sweets. As you stroll between stands piled high with fresh produce and handmade goods, your guide explains how this centuries-old market remains a cornerstone of Kraków’s everyday life and culinary heritage

Olga was a super guide! Lots of info and fab food.
Karolina was so geat, she is a wonderful person and had interesting stories.
We had a fantastic tour with Aneta, as a family of 10 including a vegetarian we were all catered for and left feeling nicely full! The tour was a perfect mix of history and culture with a varied range of snacks, the last stop was our favourite!
Was a great way to see and learn about the city and authentic Polish food through time. Wasn't just about food but also learned the history.
Piotr was an excellent guide who took us to less obvious places to eat tasty food. The tour was well organised and not at all rushed so we had plenty of time to savour the samples and for a comfort break.
Great tour to introduce the history and traditions of Krakow
It was good to try local traditional dishes
We had a perfect tour with the amazing Karolina! She is a wonderful guide with extensive knowledge, and it was an absolute pleasure chatting with her throughout the tour. When we return to Krakow, we will definitely book with her again. Highly recommended!"
Alex was a great guide. So friendly, knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. Meeting up was seamless and we had a great afternoon wandering, eating and learning some food history. Highly recommend!
Piotr was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable and kind. We had a great variety of food that was staggered nicely so to not get very full, and for a good value.
Piotr was an awesome guide. Very knowledgeable and open to answering any questions you have about the area. Great guy!
Piotr treated us to a delightful food experience, but also provided context for the food we tried, with both historical and cultural background. We stayed mostly in the old town, sampling both the street food we knew, like pierogies, and some which were really local. They were all delicious! We ended at a market (my happy place) just outside old town, trying various bites from market vendors. All in all, it was a great experience, and Piotr a wonderful guide. Highly recommend.
Karolina was an amazing guide. She shared deep interesting history facts but also her own experiences growing up in Poland. There was a lot of bites so you end up feeling like you ate a full meal close to the end.
This was one of the better food tours we have ever been on. Paulina was organized and outstanding. She was very knowledgeable, sharing with us, the origins of the food in the area and quickly providing samples of the food she talked about. She was easy to understand and a wonderful guide!
Piotr was a great guide - very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was fun and representative of the street food of Krakow. I know it was just a tasting tour, but I wish there was more food for the price haha.
Brilliant guide, very knowledgeable and funny
Great way to learn more about Krakau. Our guide Aneta was very nice and knowledgeable
Nice experience, with good Polish food. Aneta was a really good guide. She gave her best and was knowledgeable and nice and sweet.
Tour was really good and worth the money, Piotr was very educated and taught us alot about the food and also the area and history which was very interesting. Pace of the tour was perfect, food was great. All in all a great activity to do whilst visiting Krakow.
This was a great tour and wonderful food, classic Polish experiences. We had a wonderful guide and it really worked with children who were nine, seven and four years old. It was the perfect amount of walking and eating.
Olga did a fantastic job explaining the history of Kraków and seamlessly weaving in how the city's food and culinary traditions were connected to that history. The tour was a great value for the money, and I enjoyed every food item we tried. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn more about Kraków while experiencing some delicious local food!
An excellent insight into real polish food and history from a polish national. Tasted many different things from zapikanki, pierogi, polish bagels, 2 types of highland cheese, 2 types of sausage, sauerkraut, pickles and a donut with rosehip jam. Oh and grass vodka! All delish!! Our tour guide, Carolina was warm, friendly and loved to hear the stories of her childhood in krakow. Totally recommend this trip, excellent value for money
Carolina was a delightful host and her stories about her childhood growing up in Poland and her knowledge of the history of her homeland gave us an amazing insight to life here. Totally recommend this tour. We were only a party of 6 (with a Dutch family), so was so intimate and felt really special. The food was awesome too. We sampled real zapikanki, polish bagels, 2 types of highland cheese, polish grass vodka, 2 types of sausage, pickle, sauerkraut, and a sweet donut with rose hip jam. Very full afterwards.
She knew a lot about all of the food and we had plenty to eat and drink during te tour. She also gave great tips and places to discover later on your own.
Lovely tour, very informative and enjoyable.

A great food tour , giving a good overview of the local delicacies. Meeting point not clearly defined- locals didn’t know either. It would be beneficial to state at the corner of Hard Rock Cafe, as sat nav sent us around the square several times !!
Matt was very thorough showing us Krakow and all its history as well as the different Polish food available. I was surprised at how much food (and vodka) we were given to try - have a small breakfast. A wonderful experience
