It was a fascinating museum, offering a chance to view aviation from an Eastern European perspective. What a vast number of aircraft! 'MiG Alley' is truly impressive. From the very earliest machines to aircraft from World War I and II, the Cold War, and even agricultural aviation—it was all amazing. There are also some Western military aircraft on display, donated by other museums. I found the collection of aircraft engines particularly impressive.

Unbelievable array of Cold War aircraft.
Fantastic trip. Huge museum with such a massive collection of aviation material and so many aircraft!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the flight simulator and sitting in one of the planes. Really good value for money, very quiet no queues. You can easily spend a few hours here with so many aircraft on display. Look in every hangar they look closed but are not. Every one of them full of planes and helicopters. I booked through tripadvisor before we left the UK. Easy to get a taxi out to it from krakow.
I found the Polish Aviation Museum Krakov simply one of the best aviation museums I've been to, If you like Russian Cod War hard wear and have an interest in the Polish air force and aircraft industry it is a must see. Sharing space outside include notable Cold war era aircraft from the West, including a pristine example of an F-4E Phantom, a Mirage V and an extremely rare complete example of the F-105 Thunderchief. But for the outside visitor I think the biggest draw will be the row upon row of Migs and Sukhoi aircraft, from the early Mig 15 to the first supersonic Mig 19, and to the illustrious Mig 21 and brutal Mig 23. And from the Sukhoi stable we have a Su 7, 20, and 22. You also find example of unique one off experimental aircraft designed by PZL among too many gems to mention. Excellent value for money and because many of the exhibits are outdoors are easier to photograph if that's your thing.
Museum very interesting and good experience. Ticket purchase fine and downloaded successfully. However, Trip Advisor advertises Krakow Card included and skip the line and both were greeted with total blank looks at the museum.
Tickets were never emailed over and when trying to call no one answered the phone. Absolutely ridiculous service and we had to pay AGAIN as we had no other option. Never use this service to book this trip. We were left stressed and out of pocket!! The place its self is absolutely beautiful! It’s a must see place
The Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków was amazing! I loved seeing all the different aircraft and learning about aviation history. The displays were really interesting and gave a great look into Poland's role in the field. It's definitely a place worth visiting if you're into planes or history!
The I World War aircraft’s and Polish Women in Aviation. We also liked the presentation of Polish aviation pioneers
Just one word...breathtaking.. It was full of history from the start to the end..a great day out for anyone even if you're not into things like that. Which is me and I loved it..well worth a visit..
Saw planes that I hadn't seen before. Very relaxing environment. Well laid out. Good experience. Would go again.
Absolutely extraordinary museum where everyone, but especially aviation enthusiasts can take a leap through the passion, history, culture and myths surrounding the world of aviation both military and civil. The museum really has many aircraft, some absolutely unique pieces, that have somehow marked the history of the world. The museum is huge built on an old and historic airport near Krakow and has internal airspace in the hangars and externally in the perimeter of the old airport precisely. We were fortunate to have Mr. Marek O as our guide. (Which I would really like to thank sincerely), who presented us with extreme care, passion, clarity and sympathy those that are the main attractions of this fantastic museum, did so ranging from the historical to the technical side, not neglecting even those that are the curiosities and peculiarities of the aviation world, making the visit interesting and attractive even for young visitors like my daughters... What about a stop to include absolutely if you plan a visit to Krakow, museum really well set. Congratulations
Very large and interesting exhibition with a variety of flights from different eras probably over 200 different aircraft and helicopters. A minus was that everything was not available in English so hard to know what everything was. Barking inside and outside and in hangars. Even a person who is not interested in aviation enjoys this. A little difficult to get there municipal and it was a bit poorly signposted but well worth a visit.
Extraordinary museum. Never seen! An incredible number of planes and helicopters set off again in the immense park and the numerous hangars which have plenty of surprises in store for you! A must do!!!! Thank you for this great adventure,😊
Consiglio questo museo perché rimanete affascinati sia dentro che fuori.Che dire, non me lo aspettavo affatto di vedere così tanti aerei ed elicotteri
The Krakow Aviation Museum is an essential stop for history and aviation enthusiasts. With a wide range of aircraft and engines spanning the period of the First World War through to the 1990s, it offers a detailed perspective on the evolution of aviation over time. The variety of specimens on display allows visitors to completely immerse themselves in the history of aviation, from the First World War to the 1990s. Vast presence of Warsaw Pact planes. Spending four hours immersed in this museum is a satisfying experience full of interesting ideas. However, it is worth noting that some of the aircraft displayed outside require maintenance, which may be a point of concern for more experienced aviation enthusiasts. Ultimately, the Krakow Aviation Museum is a fascinating and inspiring place that is definitely worth a visit.
