Went for the five pm trip. It was really great and we enjoyed it. Lovely boat with friendly staff. Sit at the front downstairs for best views if it is cold up top. Could have done a much longer trip tbh. Toilets on board and drinks is all you need. Really good.

Itinerary
Main castle in Krakow
A picturesque riverside sanctuary, one of the most important religious sites in Poland.
If travelers book this experience, they will enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Vistula River with stunning views of Wawel Hill, one of Krakow’s most iconic landmarks. As the boat cruises past, guests will admire the majestic Wawel Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once the residence of Polish kings. They will also see the impressive Wawel Cathedral, where many Polish monarchs were crowned and buried.
A highlight of the trip is spotting the famous Wawel Dragon, a legendary creature whose statue breathes real fire! Travelers can relax on board, take photos of the historic skyline, and soak in the beauty of Krakow from a unique riverside perspective.
During the cruise, travelers will pass by the Convent of the Norbertine Sisters, one of Krakow’s oldest and most picturesque monasteries. Founded in the 12th century, this beautifully preserved white-walled convent sits along the banks of the Vistula River, offering a stunning view from the water. Guests will admire the convent’s historic Baroque and Romanesque architecture, including its distinctive towers and fortified walls. The convent has a rich history, having survived numerous wars and invasions, and it remains an active religious site today.
As the boat cruises along the Vistula River, travelers will get a unique view of Kazimierz, Krakow’s historic Jewish quarter and one of the city's most vibrant districts. Once the heart of Jewish life in Poland, Kazimierz is now known for its rich history, beautiful synagogues, and artistic, bohemian atmosphere.
As the boat glides along the Vistula River, travelers will pass by the striking Centre for Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor – CRICOTEKA. This modern and unconventional building, suspended over a historic power station, serves as a museum and cultural center dedicated to the life and work of Tadeusz Kantor, one of Poland’s most influential avant-garde artists and theater directors. From the water, guests will admire the building’s unique industrial-meets-modern architecture, which reflects Kantor’s bold artistic vision. Inside, CRICOTEKA houses exhibitions, performances, and archives that explore Kantor’s experimental Cricot 2 Theatre, known for its surreal and thought-provoking productions.
As travelers cruise along the Vistula River, they will get a fantastic view of the Kraków Eye, the city’s iconic Ferris wheel. Standing tall on the riverside, this attraction offers panoramic views of Krakow’s historic skyline, including Wawel Castle, the Kazimierz district, and the surrounding riverbanks.
As travelers sail along the Vistula River, they can also spot the area near the Casa Museo de Karol Wojtyła 1938-1944, the house where Karol Wojtyła, who later became Pope John Paul II, lived during his time in Krakow. This museum, located in the heart of the city, showcases the early years of Wojtyła’s life, when he studied at the Jagiellonian University and took part in various social and religious activities. The house offers a deep insight into the young man's formative years, including his experiences, struggles, and connections that would shape his future path.
During the boat ride along the Vistula River, travelers may catch a glimpse of a quirky and fun sculpture known as "Pig in the River". This playful piece of art is located near the Tadeusz Kantor Centre (CRICOTEKA) and has become a beloved and somewhat humorous part of Krakow’s riverside landscape. The sculpture features a large, whimsical pig lounging in the river, and it serves as an unexpected and delightful sight for those cruising by. Though it may seem out of place, it adds a touch of humor and lightheartedness to the historic setting of the city. Visitors can take photos and enjoy the unique charm of this peculiar art installation, which has sparked conversation and curiosity among locals and tourists alike.

A different way to see Krakow, particularly liked seeing castle and different bridges. Multiple languages of recording so sometimes didn’t know we had passed what they were talking about. Also it was dark so that didn’t help lol! We all felt it was an enjoyable and worthwhile thing to do.
Just turn up at 11 to buy tickets direct- we went for the one hour cruise up and down the river wisla to get a perspective on wide Krakow.
The trip ran on time and the staff were lovely. It was magical seeing everywhere lit up whilst travelling down the river. It was beautiful.
Great experience. Lovely trip, length of visit was one hour. Admission fee was around £17.60 per person around 88PLN. Atmosphere was so good and crowd size wasn’t too busy which was good for moving around. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Best for an hour out of travelling to see the views by boat.
Seating needs to be monitored as people were standing while others were using seats for bags which is unfair
Do it when it isn't raining because we was stuck bellow deck and couldn't really see anything worth looking at
Multiple language narration. A good language practice. Nice relaxing evening event . It was fun to watch people along the river having a lovely time with family.
Brilliant experience in such a beautiful city. Very relaxing including a free alcoholic drink if option chosen.
Really good time and atmosphere was great, a little busy but seating for everyone.
Wasn’t very good English. The boat was very busy with people not being able to sit where they wanted to
It was great. We sat at the top & we had a free drink. Good value for money but the audio guide didn’t come on for 20 mins
I had a cruise booked, on the day I was advised by WhatsApp that it was ‘postponed’; we couldn’t make the earlier time and replied to the WhatsApp to say that we couldn’t make it. When I asked for a refund it was declined because we did not cancel!
Group of 4 joined the 6pm evening river tour on 13/12/25. Purchased via Get My Guide, ticket included a drink each. We were delayed leaving, very disorganised, only option was for us all to sit separately. We needed to queue to get our drink for at least 15 minutes during which we missed everything we passed & couldn’t hear the commentary. Many people also paid for their drink as crew did not ask customers what ticket they had purchased. We have no idea what ‘landmarks’ we passed & saw as the commentary didn’t seem to match up to the rows of hotels & apartments we sailed past! Complete waste of over an hour & definitely not worth the money.
We had to have a refund. There was no captain to sail the boat and we were unable to wait due to other events planned. There was no communication. We pretty much had to find out ourselves. And this was after we had been on the boat for an hour. Would not recommend
Awful experience. No sailor, boat didn’t even leave harbour. We got off, as many others did, as we had dinner reservations
Friday 5th December 18:00 river cruise. Big line of people waiting for the boat. Boat came alongside 18:15. We went onboard and sat on the upper deck. We then sat for over an hour waiting to depart and it was freezing. The 19:00hrs cruise passengers came onboard also even though the boat was full. People had to stand on the upper deck as there was no seats available. All exits were blocked. No safety message from the crew was given. (This is a requirement under ISM Code) even on a river! Boat finally left at 19:20 and no excuse was given to passengers on the upper deck. As for the cruise it was as exciting as watching ice cream melt!!! Save your money and avoid!
Quite a reasonable price - however the previous trip was late coming in, so had longer times waiting in the cold, followed by a crush of people trying to push their way on at the same time. We managed to secure a space on the top deck, and there were blankets available to keep warm. Some good background music. The audio description was a little confusing, as it did multiple languages one after another. So was difficult at times to know which landmark / attraction it was referring to. Quite pleasant but overall not seeing a lot of sights. There were toilets and a bar on the boat available too.
Great time had by all. Having blankets was a treat. Lovely to see the city at night from the river. The boat was lovely and cosy.
Great boat, bar and tour. The team were really friendly and helpful Good way to see more of this beautiful city. Lovely people and beautiful views of the city
Very nice evening boat trip along the river with informative information on speaker along the way with lovely photo opportunities. We went when it was dark to see the sights lit up. Now has an on board bar and toilet facilities Very good value and nice evening out.
The trip was ok. Worth doing if you have nothing else planned. The riverbanks are quite dark and there’s not much to see on route The translations often took place a few minutes after passing something. Was nice but not spectacular
Enjoyed the short cruise but missed out on the wine that was 'sposed to be incl. ? Just sat down with everybody else. Saw some tables with cloths on at the front but weren't told where to sit. After waiting hopefully we just bought a drink at the bar ! Ah well, never mind.
It was ok didn’t see much of buildings light up which we hoped for but was nice to relax for a bit after loads of walking
We did the 7.15 trip as it was lovely going from day to the evening, very good trip and well organised 😊
Although the view was nice and the weather was ok, this tour was rather pointless. You went back on yourselves and there was very little commentary or information given. Had it not been for the walking tour earlier that day we would have not known much about krakow at all.
Regardless if the rain, Sat on top deck to take in the night sights. The scenery from the river was impressive. The cruise was very calm and general. Would definitely recommend
Great experience. Beautiful scenery. Well organized and friendly staff. On time service! All the lights were beautiful
Booked via Trip Advisor, tickers easily accessed and great communication. Booked for 7:15 so just as sun going down. Boat is clean, small bar if you want a drink and toilets. Very informative commentary. Would recommend 👌
I'm not happy 😕 that i was told my tickets were for the 17th and not the 16th got taxi to the boat and and told its tomorrow night it was my wife birthday on the 16th so know boat trip and had to walk back to the hotel and was very upset.
Dont have high expectations for this experience. Was nice for something to pass the time, but lacking in atmosphere and character. Lost its charm after 10 minutes, tour commentary drowns out any conversation being had and wasn’t always aware as to what landmark the “guide” was referring to as there were several different languages being played. Good trip if your expectations are low.
Nice evening cruise along the river. Prerecorded guide in multiple languages meant you had often passed the landmark before your language was reached but otherwise really interesting.
We had a lovely cruise along the river sipping cocktails and watching the world go by . The boat trip included tourist commentary on the main sightseeing points along the river. This was in several languages and was interesting. Staff were friendly.
We booked the 1 hour 9.15pm evening cruise so we could enjoy Krakow lit up at night. On our arrival, they were running behind schedule, and our cruise time was now 9.30. This turned out to be 9.45 by the time we set off. We set off, and some background music was played for the first 10 minutes until a man onboard complained and asked why there was no commentary that had been advertised! The music was then stopped, and a pre-recorded commentary commenced all, be it a bit late as we'd missed some things. The whole trip was very underwhelming. Most people looked bored and were queuing to get off before we'd even got back. This trip could be so much more, but the staff need to engage with the customers and make the trip more interesting.
The boat ran on time and it was interesting to see Krakow from the water. I gave it 3 stars as the commentary was provided over the intercom in about 5 languages. Surely they could have a head phone system like the hop on hop off bus where you can choose tor language and get more information. There was no interaction with staff on board
The only disappointment of our trip, too many people allowed on at one time, unless you're one of the first on you're not getting a seat outside, the noise of the engine is so loud inside you can't hear the recorded audio guide over the speakers, and the drink on board is even more expensive than in the Old Town Square, not recommended.
really enjoyable river cruise, however the English interpretation was played once you had passed the landmark. would definitely recommend sitting on the upper deck of the boat to see everything, however get there early to get a seat upstairs as the seats go quick. really relaxing and really enjoyable - couldn’t fault it otherwise.
A very relaxing and enjoyable evening cruise along the river, seeing the beautiful city of Krakow from a different perspective
The boat trip itself and the organisation and timings were spot on. But wish I’d done it during the day, the pictures don’t quite match the actual thing and didn’t really see much at all!
Didn't go far, very boring not much to see and hardly no information about what your seeing don't think it's worth doing atall
Good tour with some beautiful scenes of Krakow to be seen at night time. Starting not far from the castle, the tour is set in town parts, with the first part taking you west along the river, where there is not all that much to see, while the second part takes you east, past the Castle and along Kazimierz. All in all its a great way to kill an hour, but could be a little more exciting.
A very bad experience. The ship hasn't been able to set sail. And they won't answer us to pay us back. We've had an hour and a half inside the boat without being able to get off and without making the route. Within an hour and a half we were told to get off that they couldn't set sail. That they felt the inconvenience
Have a nice walk but not many monuments to discover on the banks The rhythm is nice. Made in Krakow, is it better in Warsaw?
We arrived a quarter early and as the clock approaches our time for departure at 20.30 we get to know that it has been made into a private self and we can therefore not come with. We get offered a second trip which is with a second slaughtered boat without dish as well as shorter, this we do not want. The company we should have been with has asked us to write to Tripadvisor and ask them to refund the amount we are now waiting for. But disappointing that they choose to priot a private company and let us and others stand behind without info and tour.
