Despite it being chilly, we had a great time on this tour. They gave us a lap blanket and the driver was friendly, funny and informative. It was a great way to orient yourself to Krakow for further exploration later.

Itinerary
This is the place of the most “mosts”: the most important public space in Kraków, the most expansive Market Square of medieval Europe, it gathers everything most characteristic of the city and has its most distinctive hallmarks, and last but not least: the most beautiful, the most important, the most charming, the most…
One of the symbols of city, a pearl of renaissance architecture, Krakow’s oldest “commercial centre”: Sukiennice or the Cloth Hall is one of the most important elements of the architectural heritage of Kraków.
70 metres (230 ft), 110 stone steps, the executioner’s dungeons, and 700 years on the Main Market Square: this is the Town Hall Tower, the only remnant of the original seat of the city authorities.
A history spanning over eight centuries, a high altar by Veit Stoss (Wit Stwosz), a bugle call, the star strewn murals by Jan Matejko covering the vaulting: all this in a single church! Moreover: in the very centre of Kraków!
One of the most famous and most recognised Polish stages, it has operated continuously since 1893. The building of the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre is counted among the most precious examples of theatre architecture in Europe.
The pearl of Krakow’s fortifications, the Barbican is one of the most exquisite examples of medieval military architecture in Europe. Never captured during a siege, it passed into legend when its defenders repulsed the attacking enemy forces with – believe it or not – a single shot!
Once independent, the city situated south of Wawel was the hub of Jewish life in Kraków for centuries, and today it is one of the greatest tourist attractions of the city.
The Tempel Synagogue is worth a visit for at least two reasons. Firstly, the stained glass windows, which are among the best preserved of their kind in Poland. The other is its “non-orthodox character”.
Standing on Szeroka Street Street, known not only as the stage of the final concert of the Jewish Culture Festival but also as the centuries-old centre of Jewish life in Kazimierz, is one of the oldest synagogues in Poland preserved in such a good condition.
Szeroka Street is the heart of Jewish Kazimierz. Let a testimony to its significance be the fact that four synagogues used to stand on the street, which was unheard of anywhere else in Europe.
The smallest of the seven synagogues of Krakow, it has long contrasted with the others due to its decidedly more modest decor. After the renovation completed in April 2016, it became the main site of prayer for the members of the Jewish community in Krakow.
The parish church of St Joseph is a distinctive, widely recognisable sites of devotion. It dominates over the surface of the Podgórze Market Square, a central point of the town which only in the 20th century was incorporated to Cracow.
See a small fragment of the original wall around the former ghetto, preserved to our times, with a plaque commemorating the fate of the inhabitants
Situated in the Podgórze district, which in 1941 was turned into the Krakow Ghetto, the former Plac Zgody [Concord Square] was designated 'Umschlagplatz' under the Nazi occupation, the place where the Jews had to congregate to be deported.
Tadeusz Pankiewicz could not possibly have foreseen while taking over his father’s pharmacy that he would make history together with the enterprise.
Where the tumultuous history of a world war meets everyday life, and private lives – a tragedy that affected the whole world.

This was an amazing experience, our tour guide was great and he gave us so much information about each place he took us. We done the Jewish Quarter and the ghetto first, I think it is so sad what happened to these people and it should never be forgotten. We then travelled to the old town and it was absolutely amazing. Krakow is full of history and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We cant thank him enough for such an amazing tour.
Great overview to the city and Ghetto. Helps you get your bearings and places you want to explore later.
We had a great tour guide. She was very nice and informative. We stopped at many sites. I would have liked to stop and be able to take pictures at each site. That was my only negative. We did stop at 2 sites like Wawel and a church and were able to walk around for 10 mins. However, stare miasto was very crowded and at times it was hard to see the sites because of other tours carts parked. I would have preferred longer at each sites for the money we paid. I would also recommend earlier time slots because later in the day it gets busy with other tours happening and congested. Overall it was a nice tour.
Wonderful trip and a great way to hear the history of the various areas and get your bearings, our driver/tour guide Rockh was brilliant.
Amazing tour because of Radic, he was so attentive and informative, for the short amount of time we had in Krakow it gave us a glimpse of how people live now and the history of it
The guide was very good. It was a bit difficult to take pictures due to the covers on the buggy. Weather was great although cold of course.
A good way to get around the City and see a lot without having to walk between places. The tour guide was friendly and informative and there was recorded information about each location. I would recommend it as a simple way to get an overview of the city and see where you'd like to re-visit on foot. The main issue was that the tour itinerary said we would stop and get out to explore but the Golf Carts are not allowed to stop and passengers not allowed to get off. The other passengers were disgruntled by this and then insisted on having the plastic sides rolled up so they could take better photos. As it was raining and cold this was not, in my view, a great idea! We also found ourselves stopping for 15 minutes to pick up other passengers as the tours were rearranged due to numbers. Again, not what we were expecting.
I highly recommend taking this tour. Our guide Filip W was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was very interesting and explained lots of things which were in addition to the audio guide. I must say it was a great tour. Filip was the icing on the cake!
the entire tour was well worth the money. It was more personable being that it was only 6 people and the second part of the tour extended was just my group of four. Guide was extremely knowledgeable as well as the driver
What a wonderful way to see such a beautiful city. We took the full tour which included the Ghetto and Jewish quarter. It was magical and we saw so much more than we would have on foot. Our Driver was wonderful and the other people didn't turn up so it was a private tour. Worth every penny!
Our guide, Michael was excellent. He was very informative and knowledgeable. We enjoyed this excursion immensely.
We booked last minute on our last day in Poland, we had seen many golf buggies around so knew they were popular. We were shown around by Micheal and he took his time explaining different parts of the city and was a fantastic tour guide. I would highly recommend
Great place to come with friends. Great restaurants and bars. old town is better for restaurants and Jewish quarter has Ltd of great bars.
The trip was very comprehensive with every site possible being visited and it’s history explained in a very entertaining way. Well done to our very pleasant and friendly guide Peter.
Our tour guide Tom was exceptional , his English was perfect and gave us loads of information . He was also very happy to answer any questions we had and stopped to let us enter places and take photos. Was great for myself as I’m unable to walk for longer periods
If you are looking for a quick tour around Krakow, then this would be a good option. The guide used an audio to describe the different areas and monuments we visited. You will have to inform the guide if you would like to hop off the cart for a quick visit into a cathedral for example.
Absolute loved this tour by far one of the best things to do within Krakow the driver is so so clued up and informative it makes it super more fun and enjoying booking this through Viator was easy
Informative for getting started and getting ideas on where to go and what to see at a leisurely pace and in more detail. I highly recommend it
On January 1, 2026 I must say that we came across an exceptional guide! At the small care with us and full of good explanations and information! Without him the visit would have been nice but with him she was SUPER good. So thank you instead it was very rewarding!
Passeio maravilhoso com um guia top, peofundo conhecedor da história da cidade. Boa atividade para quem terá uma hospedagem de 1 dia.
It was a great tour! It was worth it. You can learn a lot about Krakow in a short time. It is also convenient to drive the small mobile through the streets.
