This was the worst guided tour I have had. They overbooked so the guide who were supposed to have went ahead while a second buggy came who was the worst guide ever. He hardly spoke English and just played an audio of the attraction while pointed and drove around. We started our tour about 15 minutes later than our original guide who appeared to talk to her group in detail of each site, while our guide just pointed and said nothing and relied on the audio. We finished ahead of our original guide but started 15 minutes later. Such a disappointment. If I could give zero stars I would. It’s a shame we didn’t get in the group of our original guide. We would have learned more of the city.

Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint Stanislaus the Bishop and Martyr Basilica, also known as Skałka, which means "a small rock" in Polish, is a small outcrop in Kraków atop of which a Pauline monastery is located, a place where the Bishop of Kraków saint Stanislaus of Szczepanów was slain by order of Polish king Bolesław II the Bold in 1079. This action resulted in the king's exile and the eventual canonization of the slain bishop.
This square is part of the original market square of the city of Kazimierz, created in 1335 when the city was founded. It used to be as large as the Krakow market square and served similar functions - trade took place here, and there was also a town hall, where the highest administrative and judicial authorities of the city of Kazimierz had their seat. Other public buildings were also located here: stalls, scales or a shearing room. The present name of Plac Wolnica derives from the Latin Forum liberum (the right to free trade in meat outside stalls) and has existed in this form since the end of the 18th century, when Kazimierz was granted the privilege of free trade.
The basilica was erected in stages beginning in 1340 until about the mid-15th century. It was intended as a monastery church, which explains the large plot of land on which it stands, and the presence of a monastic cemetery next to it. In 1404 King Władysław II Jagiełło gave it to the Canons Regular of the Lateran, a congregation which he had brought in from Kłodzko
Until the nineteenth century, there was a so-called Libuszhof, a complex of streets and buildings. The current shape was established in the regulatory projects of 1808 and 1844. On the northern side of the square, along the defensive walls of Kazimierz, there are houses that used to belong to the Jewish hospital at the Kupa synagogue
The Tempel Synagogue (Polish: Synagoga Tempel) is a synagogue in Kraków, Poland, in the Kazimierz district. Tempel Synagogue is not only a major place of worship, but also a booming center of Jewish culture, which hosts numerous concerts and meetings, especially during the Festival.
Kupa Synagogue (Polish: Synagoga Kupa) is a 17th-century synagogue in Kraków, Poland. It is located in the former Jewish quarter of Kazimierz developed from a neighborhood earmarked in 1495 by King John I Albert (Polish: Jan I Olbracht) for the Jewish community, which has been transferred from the budding Old Town. Kupa Synagogue serves Kraków's Jewish community as one of the venues for religious ceremonies and cultural festivals, notably the annual Jewish Culture Festival in Kraków.
The Izaak Synagogue (Polish: Synagoga Izaaka), formally known as the Isaak Jakubowicz Synagogue, is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue from 1644 situated in the historic Kazimierz district of Kraków, Poland. The synagogue is named for its donor, Izaak Jakubowicz (d. 1673), also called Isaac the Rich, a banker to King Ladislaus IV of Poland. The synagogue was designed by Italian-born architect Francesco Olivierri.
High Synagogue is an inactive 16th-century Orthodox Jewish synagogue located in the Kazimierz District of Kraków, Poland. Also known as the "Tall Synagogue", the name corresponds to its height or, alternatively, because the prayer hall was situated upstairs. It is the tallest synagogue in the city and is an example of Late Renaissance architecture.
The Old Synagogue (Polish: Synagoga Stara) was an Orthodox Jewish synagogue situated in the Kazimierz district of Kraków, Poland. In Yiddish it was referred to as the Alta Shul. It is the oldest synagogue building still standing in Poland, and one of the most precious landmarks of Jewish architecture in Europe. Until the beginning of the Second World War in 1939, it was one of the city's most important synagogues as well as the main religious, social, and organizational centre of the Kraków Jewish community.
The Wolf Popper Synagogue (Polish: Synagoga Poppera (Bociana)), located in Kraków, Poland, used to be one of the most splendid Jewish houses of prayer in the old Jewish quarter of Kazimierz established in a suburb earmarked in 1495 by King Jan I Olbracht. The Synagogue was founded by Wolf "The Stork" Popper in early 17th century. Its entrance was once adorned with openwork doors depicting four animals: an eagle, a leopard, a lion, and a buck deer, which symbolize the main traits of a devout man. The synagogue, featuring porches, annexes, Aron Kodesh, rich furniture and decorations, went into a decline not long after the passing of its founder and chief benefactor. At present, Popper Synagogue serves as bookshop and also as an art gallery in the women's area upstairs.
Rubinstein was the eldest of eight daughters born to Polish Jews, Augusta – Gitte (Gitel) Shaindel Rubinstein née Silberfeld and Horace – Naftoli Hertz Rubinstein. Her father was a shopkeeper in Kraków, Lesser Poland, which was then occupied by Austria-Hungary following the partitions of Poland in the late 18th century. The existentialist philosopher Martin Buber was her cousin. She was also the cousin of Ruth Rappaport's mother.
The Remah Synagogue (Polish: Synagoga Remu) is a 16th-century Jewish temple and the smallest of all historic synagogues in the Kazimierz district of Kraków, Poland. The synagogue is named after Rabbi Moses Isserles (c.1525–1572), known by the Hebrew acronym ReMA (רמ״א, pronounced ReMU) who's famed for writing a collection of commentaries and additions that complement Rabbi Yosef Karo's Shulchan Aruch, with Ashkenazi traditions and customs. It is currently one of two active synagogues in the city.
Ghetto Heroes Square (from around 1880 Mały Rynek, 1917–1948 Plac Zgody) - a square in Kraków, in the 13th district, in Podgórze. In the years 1941–1943 it was within the Kraków ghetto. It was a place of concentration of the Jewish population before being transported to concentration camps. At number 18, there was the Pharmacy "Under the Eagle" by Tadeusz Pankiewicz, the only non-Jewish inhabitant of the ghetto.
The Eagle Pharmacy Museum is located on the southwest edge of the Bohaterów Getta Square, under number 18 (formerly Maly Rynek, then Plac Zgody) in Kraków, Poland. Since 1910, its proprietor was Jozef Pankiewicz and after him Tadeusz Pankiewicz (21 November 1908 – 5 November 1993), his son who ran it since 1933. Before World War II, it was one of the four pharmacies in Podgórze district. Its clients were both Polish and Jewish residents of the district. A frequent customer was, e.g., "Bikkur Cholim" charity. In March 1941, the Germans established a ghetto in Podgórze for Kraków's Jews, Pankiewicz's pharmacy was the only one within its borders and its proprietor was the only Pole with rights to stay in it.
Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory (Polish: Fabryka Emalia Oskara Schindlera) is a former metal item factory in Kraków. It now hosts two museums: the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, on the former workshops, and a branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Kraków, situated at ul. Lipowa 4 (4 Lipowa Street) in the district of Zabłocie [pl], in the administrative building of the former enamel factory known as Oskar Schindler's Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik (DEF), as seen in the film Schindler's List. Operating here before DEF was the first Malopolska factory of enamelware and metal products limited liability company, instituted in March 1937.

Not the most informative tour but still enjoyed it, helped to get a feel for the city and guide was nice.
We ended up sitting at the rear of the golf cart and were driven around backwards which made my partner a little queasy. We saw parts of the city that we wouldn't have but the young driver seemed bored and only stopped once for a photo stop at a church. The plastic sheets over the sides of the cart weren't clear enough to take photos through, also we were supposed to be touring for 90 minutes but finished in 75 mins
Amazing city tour, was great for seeing the city and being given lots of good information about what we saw. Our guide was fantastic, would definitely recommend.
This was great fun. It was a great way to see the city. The golf cart was covered so we didn’t get wet as it was raining! There were lots of photo opportunities and our guide was informative and helpful. Highly recommended.
Brilliant informative tour of krakow, both new and old parts. Our tour guide, Bartek, went above and beyond.
Anthony was our driver. Friendly and knowledgeable. Your was in the rain so it was more difficult to see when the plastic sides were down as everything steamed up! He rolled up the side which was great for viewing - not so much for staying dry. Worth the your tour to see the Jewish district.
The meetup location was clear and easy to find. The tour was just OK. I noticed options that others were able to book around the main squares that were more interactive/informative. This was a recorded audio tour that we listened to with headphones. If that’s your thing, then I’d think you’d enjoy, but it wasn’t clearly stated in the tour description and I prefer an actual tour guide who is able to answer questions.
Great way to see the best parts of Krakow without walking miles (I did that on other days!). Easy transport in and around the city. Stops at several churches. Primarily focused on Kazimierz and the ghetto, not the Old Town (which is better on foot as primarily pedestrian.
We met Jakob at a pre-arranged point and he was instantly informative and friendly which continued throughout the tour. His driving was safe negotiating a very complex road system! The tour gave us a real good insight into the City and its history and helped to orientate us for the rest of our stay. The commentary was clear and Jakob provided additional information which was brilliant, stopping at appropriate places for us to take photos. He answered all our questions and provided brilliant recommendations of where to eat and at the end of the tour dropped us at a brilliant restaurant where we enjoyed a fabulous meal. Thoroughly recommend this experience and our fabulous tour guide Jakob.
I recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your holiday to get some background information about Krackow and it's history. The audio guide was good although the volume wasn't enough to hear it properly at times when the buggy was travelling at speed or when we were on busier roads. The guide stopped to help with it a couple of times but of course it sounded ok when we were stationary. The guide was knowledgeable and had plenty of interesting information to supplement the audio guide and was happy to answer any questions.
Although the audio that described, some of the places is good, it would’ve been better to have either more of it, or a guide who could tell us more about what we were seeing. But to get a quick perusal of that area, it meets that standard.
It whizzes you around the main sites. Emphasis on Churches & Synagogues. I didn’t feel the guide was very passionate & unable to answer relevant questions about the sites.
Easy to book and got the time we wanted at short notice. Our driver and guide Natalie was brilliant. A good confident driver with great knowledge of the areas we visited (mainly Jewish quarter) and a good sense of humour. Her explanations of what we were seeing along with the English commentary was really helpful and she stopped and allowed us time to look around a couple of churches. Great value for money and highly recommended.
Nice overview of the beautiful city of Krakow. Thank you.
Very interesting and informative. A great way for an introduction to the city. Our tour guide Andrew was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.
Great way to see the historic Jewish Quarter. Great price excellent guide/driver, thank you Tim! We’d definitely recommend this trip if visiting Krakow.
This is a great tour of the city. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and caring for her passengers. Martyna Was our tour guide and she is the best tour I have had anywhere!!!
Our tour guide was fantastic. We learned so much of this beautiful cities’ history. He is also an excellent GLC cart driver managing Kraków’s never-ending traffic.
Knowledgeable guide with good insights. Excellent tour of Jewish Quarter and Ghetto. Personal insights helped understand the history.
Unfortunately our tour started very quickly with a stop by the police. After much conversation with the driver and an examination of the vehicle, particularly the lights and turn signals he received a ticket. He gave brief explanation mainly saying very nice police and when questioned said he got ticket but not why. The rest of the tour seemed rushed. Anyone sitting more than one row behind him could not hear his speech about things we were seeing as it was not amplified and his accent was difficult to understand even up front. He was friendly and asked frequently if everyone was okay and happy.
Well informed, we managed to see a lot of the city, the driver was very helpful and polite English speaking guide
A very interesting tour ideal for short-stay visitors to Krakow. I found it via Tripadvisor having decided to shop around after being quoted what appeared to be a very high price by our hotel and this tour was 60% cheaper and excellent value for money. Our guide was Rock, a very pleasant and informative young man and a very smooth driver. He gave plenty of information in addition to that provided by the audio recording.
Easy to locate pick up point. Buggy arrived on time.Chances to get off and take pictures was a big plus. Our guide/driver was amazing, would highly recommend.
Interesting and informative tour mainly around the Jewish quarter. Natalie was a good guide.
Excellent, low stress way to learn about Krakow. Martina was knowledgeable, engaging and funny. A really good experience all around.
Couldn't find the a rual one I had booked with, so went with another company. The guide was fantastic
It was a great overview of the city and explained all the buildings, that you would otherwise walk past. Unfortunately, the headphones were very low volume - and unable to hear when cart on road. This should have been checked and resolved before the cart started moving. Hearing the audio is the main reason for the tour. I recommend doing this when you first arrive ( if the audio works)
Don’t take this tour. The audio is interpreted by the driver. We were the very back couldn’t hear the driver or the audio well. Terrible. We did a lot of drive bys
Very nice tour of Kaźmierek area. Our ride was a few minutes late because of traffic so the man checking our tickets brought us to Żabka and bought us all coffees
The tour was excellent - really informative and a lovely guide called Natalie. She was knowledgeable and fun - the tour was relaxed, interesting and unrushed. Highly recommend, especially if you can be on Natalie’s tour!
Great experience with the tour guide. Very informative and friendly, great vibe. Will recommend to family and friends.
Very interesting and saves a lot of walking
The tool was comprehensive and excellent
Very good guide , very knowledgeable, funny and polite . The tour ran on time also was very comfortable
Natalie was very knowledgeable and professional. We enjoyed hearing the history and cultural facts about Krakow. I would recommend this tour.
Andrew was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the area. Answered all our questions. Very enjoyable tour which allowed me to get my bearings around the city and great recommendations for the rest of my visit.
Good tour Driver was very knowledgeable Friendly, placing you stop off gives you time to.look around Would highly recommend
Our guide Natalie, was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We learnt so much about the city without feeling rushed. We would highly recommend booking this company and if you can request Natalie as your guide I certainly would.
a disappointing tour...apart from one stop it was a drive by and there was too much coverage of the jewish quarter which became repetitive
Excellent tour mix of audio and live commentary would recommend
It was an unforgettable experience exploring Krakow’s historic sites and learning about the city’s fascinating past. Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable while doing an excellent job of keeping the tour on schedule. What made the experience especially meaningful was the way the stories and history brought the past to life, allowing us to truly connect with the people and events that shaped Krakow. It was fascinating, moving, and thought-provoking. A wonderful and memorable tour that we greatly appreciated and highly recommend!
It was a Great And comfortable tour. Knowledgeable, thx to our driver highly recommend to have this tour
The guide was very informative and made our trip enjoyable, would highly recommend, book in advance.
It was a good overview of the old town of Krakow with an emphasis on the persecution of the Jewish people. Very informative.
This was a tour of the Kazemierz section only. Our guide, whose name I have sadly forgotten, was very knowledgeable and spoke to us in Polish as well as English…in addition to the headsets we all had. Excellent tour!
Excellent value for money with Natalie as our tour guide would 💯 recommend went round very interesting places with time fir a wander too Thank you😊
Olivia was a fun and knowledgeable guide. Her commentary combined with the recordings provided a good overview of the area.
Olivia was the literal best. Great driver and great tour operator. There’s a young guy that helped me out at the start of the tour - I booked the incorrect time earlier in the day. He was super helpful. Everyone was The tour itself breezes you through the Jewish quarter while giving great and succinct history. To actually go deep into the Jewish history would require a couple of days, but this allowed you to speed run it and get a couple of good pictures The catholic part of the tour was as good, with am opportunity to get out of the golf cart near the end at an Amazing church. If you have a limited time in krakow like I did, this is a must.
Great way to get a lay out of the city. Certain historical sites are revealed that perhaps you would not have been aware of. Comfortable and fun.
