Krakow: 6-course Full Polish Food & Vodka Tour

Together with 4 other people and our guide I enjoyed the Vodka and Polish food tour a few days ago. In the first restaurant we enjoyed Polish soup and a dumplings course and 2 vodka. After this we visited a small shop without seating to enjoy a piece of grilled cheese. The 3rd stop was in the 2nd restaurant, and there we had 3 courses; a goulash, potato pancakes, and apple pie desert, and of course there were more vodka's to try. The guide explained both the history of the food, the vodka and various things about Krakow and all this combined led to a wonderful evening. Highly recommended for those visiting Poland / Krakow and like to enjoy the local flavours combined with a good story.

We did the 6 course dinner and vodka tasting with Dale on our first night in Krakow. What a perfect way to start our stay and become familiarized with the amazing food offered in this beautiful city. I highly recommend booking this tour for early in your stay so you don’t miss out on trying foods you may not otherwise try. Sour soup? Yes, please! Dale also gives a great deal of history and other information about food, customs and the city. Well worth the money!

The best tour I have taken in Krakow. Dale, our tour guide, was welcoming and full of great information about the Polish Cuisine and Vodka. All the food tasted amazing and I came away with so much history on Poland. Would 100% recommend to anyone traveling to Krakow for a visit.

Fun tour of a few different venues including local dishes and vodka tasting. I didn't know that flavored vodka was the preferred style on Poland so that led to an interesting experience.

Lots of fun! We had a good group and ate several foods I would not have necessarily known to try otherwise. The restaurants were cozy and the service was prompt. Alex was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot in addition to eating delicious food.

Wonderful food and drink choices . Dale was great at giving us history lessons of both food and drinks not to mention some local hot spots that are overlooked. Nice evening.

Would highly recommend doing all the tours they cover as you get to know so much of the history of krakow and Poland.

We did the Polish Food & Vodka tour and thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening, even having tried most of the food previously. Dale (our guide) was very informative throughout, providing the background of the dishes and the history of the food and vodka, which greatly enhanced the experience. Would strongly recommend to anyone interested in doing a food and vodka tour while visiting Krakow!

Dale, our guide was excellent. His knowledge of the history of Krakow and Poland in general was impressive ! He has a great sense of humor that he blens into his narrative. I travel frequently and find that these “free tours have very knowledgeable guides. That fact that they work for tips only ensures that they are very capable.

Everyone visiting Krakow should go on this, you will get taken to places you won't find on your own and learn the history of the food as well. Had a brilliant time!

Absolutely brilliant tours of the Old Town, Jewish Quarter and Food Tour with Dale. Sometimes you think that the guides with the depth of history knowledge aren't always the most easy-going. However, he had plenty of Krakow and Polish history to tell whilst making the whole group feel at home. I think everyone was fully engaged in all 3 of his tours. Great detailed background for visits to Auschwitz and Schindler Factory, and for l general knowledge of Polish cuisine which many tourists will miss. His clarity and engagement as a tour guide is simply superb!!

This was an excellent, well organised and very enjoyable tour. Our host, Dale, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the choice of restaurants, street vendors, food and drink was fabulous. He went beyond by giving tips and advice, as we went along, as well as introducing us to a great bar after the tour had finished. Highly recommended.

This tour offers a nice, generous variety of local foods at restaurants off the beaten track. You will have plenty to eat. Loved the vodka offerings, too. Dale kept the tour moving and provided a nice history of food and drink with a perspective of their connection to the political climate at the time. Very informative. Great job, Dale!

We really enjoyed this as an introduction to Polish food and the vodka was good as well! Dale was very friendly, informative and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. He was very accomodating of me being vegetarian and the alternatives for me were really tasty.

It’s not just about the food and vodka, obviously that does help! but Dale our guide was great, told us facts and stories to go with every part of the evening, the history to go with food and drink just adds a real extra part to the night that you shouldn’t miss. Not to be missed.

The polish food & drink experience is thoughally recommended. Went to a couple of different resturants sampling varoious polish dishes and vodka shots. Our guide was Dale. We not only ate and drank but he gave us an insight on how these dishes came about and about polish food culture. The food was very good and we had a fabulous time. Well worth it.

A good way to experience a little local food and vodka and get to meet a few new friends. Dale was a great host and we learned lots we wouldn't have done had we just been out on our own. If you've got a couple of hours to spare I would recommend the tour.

A fun evening. A good mix of Polish staple dishes plus some tasty vodkas that would suit most people. Our group were fun and interesting people, so we left with a very nice feeling about the evening. I would recommend this ir something similar.

It was a wonderful experience where even though it was raining heavy Dale made me and my friends feel wa and comfortable making us feel Polish with the food and drinks that the locals do to get warm.

Dale was fantastic. Very informative, organised and answered any questions that was asked. He enhanced our visit to Krakow immensely and would highly recommend doing this tour and any walking tours (we did 2).

Lovely food tour. All 5 courses were delicious. We went back the next day to get more smoked cheese! I was glad I could take the dessert to go, as I was very full. Not too much walking if you are worried about that.

Excellent tour! Would definitely book it again if I come back in the future. Dale (our guide) was very passionate about his stories and the history of food as the facinating wodka culture of Poland. The tour felt like going to different restaurants/food stalls with a friend who knows everything (keep it realistic, hes not a walking encyclopedia) about the aspects of the Polish cuisine. We've had answers for things we were already wondering beforehand about the city, food and wodka culture of Krakow (Poland in general). A perfect mix of taste, knowledge and fun for groups of all ages and compositions! Cheers to the organisation!

Dale was a great guide for our Polish food and vodka experience, we had 4 courses and 4 vodkas in 2 different restaurants and ended for the final vodka shot in a vodka bar. Dale told us a lot about the different dishes and the history of vodka. A very nice way to spend the evening visiting restaurants that you would not have discovered on your own. Highly recommended.

Kami was welcoming and knowledgeable about the food scene in Krakow. A great night was had and reasonably prices in comparison with competitors. Highly recommend and Kamil also.

We really enjoyed our food tour. It was a nice way to meet people and have a little more personalized attention and ask questions. We took 3 tours with Dale and they were all informative, interesting and at a good pace. Not too fast, not too slow. I like that all the tours meet at the same place also. Makes it so much easier to keep straight and remember.

Was a wonderful way to go to several restaurants and try things. We would have never known some of the places were even there! Dale did a great job explaining everything and sharing polish traditions!

I joined his tour on my own, but felt really welcomed by the guide and the others in the group. I really recommend it, especially if you are only in Krakow for a couple of days and don't have time to try lots of restaurants. It was a great way to learn about Polish food and taste some amazing vodkas. The guide also recommended other bars and restaurants to try the next day. It's also worth mentioning that the vegetarian options were really tasty, especially the soup. I felt like I got a good sample of traditional Polish food, even without the meat.

My group of 7 had a brilliant time on the food tour. Dale is knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We ate a fine selection of different foods and vodkas and learnt the history of each dish. Would recommend this food tour, or any of Dales tours to anyone visiting Krakow.
