Krakow-zakopane: Cable Car, Hot Springs, Cheese & Vodka Tasting

Kuba, our guide on this excursion, was kind, patient and knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly, shared interesting information throughout the trip and was always ready to help whenever needed. His friendly approach made the experience all the more enjoyable. We highly recommend him and thank him for a wonderful trip.

I really enjoyed the whole trip, it was entertaining, relaxing and rich in knowledge. Kuba was a great tour leader.

Very good value for money and well worth the day. Timings could have been a little more precise but didn’t spoil the overall day. Driver took us to the wrong spa but our guide Kuba stayed calm under pressure and sorted it all out for us.

we booked this trip on get your guide.we wanted a trip which was just included the transfer and this did just that. Once you are there you can purchase the thermal baths but we opted not to and had more time to explore the guide himself was really friendly . The only thing i will say is that it said the pick up spot was at the hotel and then on the day you get a message to meet at the train station. Luckily it was not to far from our hotel but still. the guide was really friendly tho and translated in english. Thank you we had a fantastic day

The places you visit and the sights you see are pretty, but considering the costs of tour this was a disappointing experience There was little explanation of the places we visited . Cheese and vodka tasting ? We were not explained the basics of what we were having or any sort of understanding to how it related to Polish culture The tour felt very unprofessional, with the guide even getting the meeting times wrong until we asked for clarifications. The places are worth a visit, but maybe try another tour company.

Lovely day out to see some more of the countryside from Krakow. Gubalówka had gorgeous views and, if you hike down, a nice little challenge. Zakopane seemed a little (lot) touristy and the thermal baths were divine. Only downside was the oscypek and wodka tasting - it looked little like a dressed up parking lot and lasted barely gisteren minutes. We had expected something a fraction more authentic. Pau was lovely and helpful when we had questions.

Hania was a wonderful tour guide, giving us lots of detail about the trip & the history of Krakow. She spoke excellent English & answered any questions we had. We loved all of the tour but particularly the vodka tasting & the thermal baths. Highly recommend doing this trip.

Not overly impressed with Discover Cracow as a company BUT I will say Hannah our tour guide was exceptional. She was welcoming, kind, funny, very accommodating and knowledgeable. Hannah was very patient with the guests who were late and communicated with everyone when there was a delay etc. Hannah made the day a great memory and we are so thankful we had her show us Zakopane and the thermal baths. Discover Cracow the company short notice cancelled another tour we had a couple of days before to Auschwitz. Not only did they give us ZERO time to find another tour but they gave no care about the fact we travelled half way around the world for this ONE TOUR. A simple sorry and full refund doesn’t fix something that is extremely important to people. There needs to be better organizers when booking tours for people and better communication. We also thought for our trip to Zakopane that we had arranged for hotel pickup and hotel drop off and guess what!?? Only hotel pick up is being done and we have to find our way back from the bus station on our own. Another HUGE let down and lack of communication on this companies part.

Had a wonderful day with our driver/guide David. Just a relaxing experience without feeling dragged from place to place. Lots of free time and David was so pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience on this tour. Without a doubt, our guide Antonio made everything much more enjoyable. He was very kind, attentive, and always willing to help and answer our questions. We really appreciated all the recommendations he gave us, as well as the historical facts and interesting details he shared about this beautiful country along the way We were also very impressed by his ability to speak several languages fluently, which made communication feel easy and personal. Antonio truly made the experience special, and we would definitely recommend the tour!

Was a great trip, tour guide Antoni explained everything and gave us history facts along the way on the bus. Had fun at the cheese and vodka tasting. Loved the thermal baths was a great way to end the day.

Great day, definitely worth a visit to Zakopane and the thermal spa. Be aware that tickets for the thermal spa and the Funicular are not included in the basic price. We were aware of this however others in our group were taken by surprise. It is a matter of reading what’s included! Our guide Szymon was absolutely brilliant. He was perfectly fluent in English and Spanish, full of knowledge, approachable and extremely helpful. Couldn’t give him a high enough praise. Would recommend to anyone

My girlfriend and I were really lucky to get Antonio as our guide. Honestly don't think the day would've been the same without him. He picked us up on time and was easy to talk to right away, which set a nice tone for the whole trip. The drive out to Zakopane alone was worth it. Beautiful views the whole way, and Antonio kept pointing things out and sharing bits of history so it never felt like "just" a drive. He also stopped so we could see Kościół Matki Boskiej Częstochowskiej, which we wouldn't have known about otherwise. Zakopane itself was stunning. The mountains and forests are something else in person. What I liked most was the mix: we got a proper taste of the local culture (sheep's cheese, some vodka tasting) but also had time to just wander the streets ourselves without feeling rushed. Back in Kraków, Antonio pointed us to Morskie Oko and Wilczy Dół for dinner, both solid picks and left us very happy. overall the whole day felt well thought out without being over-scheduled, and we left happy. We're actually already talking about going back to spend more time in Zakopane specifically. Antonio made a big difference, would recommend him to anyone doing this trip.

Antoni, our guide, was the best part of the experience. He helped our group both in English and Spanish. He had much knowledge. The experience was amazing, especially the thermal baths. Add on the sauna and massages - so worth it! The only thing that stopped it from being perfect was the minibus. It was very small without much leg room. But after the starting trip, you quick forget this.

Overall a good trip with beautiful scenery. Our guide was very good. Our only concern was the treatment of the valis smallest lamb. Was constantly getting lifted by everyone who passed through including small children. No concern for the animal at all. We voiced our concerns to the guide that the animal looked ill and not moving, hanging its head standing in full sun. Our guide spoke to the owner/staff about our concerns but he basically laughed and said that the animal was fine. This animal was certainly not well. It must have been exhausted and hurt with all the handling. This happened at the vodka and cheese stop.

As a family we really enjoyed this tour. Highlight is the special highlander cheese (oscypek) and the thermal bath. There were plenty of time to spend in each stop. Another plus was we were in a small group of 10. Highly recommend. Kuba our guide told us a lot very informative Polish culture and history
