Reviews
We were picked up by Frank, and were lucky enough to be told only us booked for that day, meaning we had a private tour. Throughout the drive Frank informed us of loads of history, facts and points of interest for the areas we were driving though and seemed very knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. At our first stop, the chapel he explained the key points of the visit, and gave more detail and had in depth discussions as we asked questions and explained the local history. At the funicular we had time to explore and enjoy the views from the top - the top however was highly commercialized which was disappointing for the amazing view points being disturbed bounce castles and attractions, and the gravity slide not opening at 10am as advertised. However we did manage to have a coffee with Amazing views in one of the cafes. We continued on to the cheese and vodka tasting, which again Frank gave us a good explanation of the history of the area and the cheese and vodka including to smack the demons out of new bottles, the cherry was my personal favorite, and the cheese tastes amazing with the jam. Finally our final stop at the thermal spa was a relaxing end to our visit to Poland, and a much needed rest for legs! It wasn’t too busy with beautiful views over the mountains, the cold air outside the external heater water allowed for good relaxation and the ease of being able to purchase drink without needing to take a phone or wallet poolside was refreshing and increased the ability to relax without distraction. When we had completed our time in the spa we called Frank to advise we were at the pick up area and he quickly returned to drive us back into Krakow, providing more information along our route about points of interest. Highly recommend this tour
I booked this trip after previous reviews. I wanted to go to the mountains but wasn't bothered by the thermal baths really, but it came as a package at a good price and a decent departure time so I booked. Peter the driver/guide was well presented, polite and a confident driver. Just 5 of us in a very clean comfortable Mercedes van. First stop the wooden church. Very pretty, worth 15 minutes. Second stop Zakopane. Wow! Super busy and touristy!! Not quite what I expected to be honest, but I'm glad I saw the mountains in winter. And the funicular was fun up and down. Just close your eyes to the tourist stalls all selling the same things at inflated prices. I've been spoilt by skiing in the French Alps 🙄 Zakopane Town was pretty, lots of music and busy again. I walked to the park for some space and took a picnic bought in the local bakery. Stop 3 Thermal baths. As I said, it's not my thing but it was clean, well organised BIG! And VERY BUSY!! I hired a towel for 10 PLN, didn't bother with flip-flops, put everything in the locker to be safe. The views of the mountains from the outside pools were stunning. Stayed in for an hour then chilled in the sun at the front of the building with a coffee. Overall I am glad I did the trip, but I wouldn't repeat it. It was a personal thing that I just don't like crowds. But Mr Shuttle /Peter was excellent. Couldn't fault communication both before and throughout the day via WhatsApp. I'd use them again.
We did the Zakopane Mountain Thermal Baths Tour on the 23.02.2026 for my 40th birthday and many thanxs to our driver Kamil that we had the best day. Kamil was very punctual, polite and friendly. He made my day special. I wish that all future trips that we take have a tour guide like Kamil as he went above and beyond with everything. Many thanxs.
Excellent tour. We loved Zacopane and thermal spa was amazing. The driver was very good and he took as early in Zacopane before the crowds. I strongly recommend
Fantastic service again. Pick up on time and messaged day before and morning of pick up. Loved the trip and ending on thermal baths was just tremendous. Friendly driver and clean and comfy transport. Will definitely use again
I really enjoyed this day trip. It was well organised and beautiful to see different parts of Poland. The mountains are beautiful. The spa was lovely, you can take your own towels or hire them there. I have two small points that I wish I’d known before: 1. The journey to and from Zakopane is quite long (2 hours ish) and the roads are quite bumpy/windy, plus we didn’t have the opportunity to stop for the toilet. I’d have like a bathroom break and also I get a bit car sick when the roads are like that so I’d have taken a tablet beforehand. 2. We were told by our guide at the spa that you had to pay if you wanted to use the Sauna as well as the pools. This isn’t actually true and we nearly ended up paying when we wouldn’t have had to. If you go to the baths on the lower ground there are free saunas to use there. Other than that all was great, our guide was lovely, and the trip was well worth it.
Have used Mr Shuttle twice this week and have to say it's great service, updated collection times the night before, collected on time, great tours which cut out all the queuing, tody we had Mark (I believe this was his name) our guide to Zakopane, he is a complete asset to Mr Shuttle Tours, such a knowledgeable guide who chatted with us all from start to finish even answering questions that were not associated with the tour, highly recommended going above and beyond.
We had the pleasure of having Piotr as our driver with Mr Shuttle, and we honestly couldn't have asked for better. His driving skills were 10/10 – calm, confident, and safe throughout. He was also incredibly punctual, always arriving right on time, which made everything so stress-free. The car was spotless, and you could tell he takes real pride in keeping it that way. When we (accidentally!) dropped some food on the floor, he was extremely reasonable and understanding – a real gentleman. On top of that, Piotr went above and beyond by giving us helpful recommendations for places to visit beyond our planned route. He clearly knows the area well and genuinely wants travellers to enjoy their stay. Highly recommend Mr Shuttle – and especially Piotr if you can request him!
When booking, for the Tuesday, the estimated pick up was 8:30/9am. The night before we were told 7am which meant we were unable to have breakfast as hotel breakfast wasn’t opened. We were driven to Gubalowka hill around 1.5 hours way and told by the tour guide we had 3 hours there. Everything was closed. I messaged Mr shuttle as we couldn’t buy as much as a drink on the hill. They advised this isn’t the case and everything was opened (I was there, it wasn’t) finally, things began to open 2 hour later! Our tour guide then messaged to say it was 1.5 hours on the hill and to come back down using the funicular we arrived it. Only, he hadn’t given us the return tickets. Luckily he managed to send them via what’s app. When we arrived back down the tour guide was annoyed that the other group of 4 we travelled with, were not with us. As he hadn’t given them the tickets either, which meant he had to call the office to obtain their number as they hadn’t taken his mobile - we were two seperate parties. He then walked us across to the town which again was mostly closed and told us to come back after another 1.5 hours. We wandered around aimlessly ourselves trying to find somewhere to eat. Eventually we did. It was very unorganised, nothing was explained. The tour guide then explained it was his first time doing that trip but it made our experience bad and he should have been briefed by Mr shuttle. All that being said the thermal baths was just ok, not what I expected. A massive leisure centre most floors are busy and aimed for kids. The minus 1 level was great for adults though, we loved it there. Very relaxing.
Great time with our guide!! It was just me and my friends so it was even better, lots of talking about Poland. We went to Zakopane, did the funecular which gave a great view of the mountains! We strolled through the main streets and tried the smoked grilled cheese (serki) which was excellent. We then drove to some thermal pools and were able to stay a bit longer as guide was flexible. Pools were not crowded and very relaxing, there is a restaurant inside which is excellent!
My wife and I were in krakow from 13/5/24 until 17/5/24 , booked 2 airport transfers and 3 tours all with Mrshuttle . The 3 drivers for our tours all turned up at our hotel (Pod Wawelem) when they were supposed to and on time in vehicles that were spotlessly clean. Big thank you to Olaf (saltmines), Peter (Zakapone) and apologies to the driver who took us to Auschwitz (forgot his name but he was excellent and professional also). We paid for 3 packed lunches which were excellent also and well worth it. My wife and I really enjoyed our first trip to Krakow, big thank you to all our drivers and Mrshuttle.
Only trip with Mr shuttle that really disappointed. The areas we visited were amazingly beautiful and picturesque but the ski lift was closed, visit to zakopane was extremely short and rushed. Would love to repeat trip in a hire car to have more time
Driver were friendly and had a wide range of knowledge regarding the area. He was helpful in arranging the tickets and to talk to the organizers
‘Tour guides was less of a tour guide and more of a driver. I’m not sure whether he was supposed to be on this tour or not? No information or interaction whilst driving (which is a lot of your day!) and when at locations you are just dropped off with no info. Would pay more next time for experience as this was cheapest Tatre from Krakow I found... actual locations were beautiful and I would 100% recommend the activities themselves.
From start to finish our day was great. Bart was a fab guide doing a great job of something that must be repetitive for him. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this trip.
Pickup and drop off at hotel was convenient. Tour stops included the sheeps milk cheese making which included tasting, the wooden church, then to Zakopane. We were able to explore on our own at our own pace to enjoy the hilltop views or shopping or restaurants. I liked the choice of how to spend my own time there.
We had been travelling through a number of cities and we were looking for something a little different. The Tatra mountains are stunning and Zakopane is a mountain tourist village nestled in the valley. We went by cable car to Gubalowka for a spectacular view over the valley. You could imagine what it would look like buried in a metre of snow. We ate a roll for lunch provided by KS overlooking the valley and then had a coffee and icecream from one of the many cafes. It was a sunny day and there were lots of people just sitting and enjoying the view. Our driver Jacob stopped at a number of places for photos on the way and the day also included a ticket to the top of the ski jump in Zakopane. There are little tourist pop ups behind the Cafes and at the bottom of the mountain there is a market as well. We were up the top for 1.5 hours but you could come down earlier and shop a bit. We fell asleep on the way back as it is along drive but the views were spectacular and we have some amazing photos and memories. We were well looked after by Jacob who got us there and back safely.
On our way from Krakau to Zakopane we had a nice chauffeur who drove safely. However the chauffeur on our way back was a crazy kamikaze. Braking late, not keeping distance and last but note least he didn’t listen to us when we asked to slow down. The bad experience did not compensate the trip to Zakopane.

Great trip but be prepared for a long bus trip 2-3 hours. Tour guide we had was great.

Trip was amazing. It snowed the night before our trip and while we were in Zakopane, which made it even more memorable.
Our guide Jacob went out of his way to ensure we could spend as much time as we needed in each place to see the sights and get some great photos. Lunch was great sampling the local cuisine, including sour soup and potato fritters.
Would highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful trip. Our driver and guide Christopher was young, energetic and very well informed.
It was punctual and we felt we received more than what we expected.

Great tour. Our young driver, Michael, was very sweet and helpful. We were only two couples so it seemed like a private tour. The views were amazing.

Picked up at our hotel in a Mercedes van. The drive had very pretty scenery and it was quite peaceful. The weather was comfortable with snow capped mountains. Stops included tasting freshly made sheep's cheese in a mountain cabin. A cable car ride up the 90/120 meter ski jump. Freeway turnout views of the snow capped Tatra Mountains. Another cable car ride up Zakopane's mountain for more beautiful views and a lot of vendors, restaurants, and even carnival style games. You finished with a couple of hours to walk around Zakopane, which is like walking around an older Aspen Ski resort in Colorado.

Now the Tatra mountains was great, fantastic views, but a lot off market stalls selling tourist tack !! Witch spoils it a bit,
Now once again we had a lunch option, or lack of it ! As one of the Luther travelers with us explained, we could choose what we wanted, and the driver will reimburse us, 25 polish zlotes, so we didn't eat, and just got the refund.

Amazing Tour! My wife and I loved every minute of this adventure and we have memories to last a lifetime!!!

Our guide was twesome!! we were the only 2 on the trip that day, and when I realized this, I wasn't sure what to expect. Would it be totally awkward? but Tomasz picked us up and took us to the mountains, and before long we felt like friends. The day of our trip it was very cold and snowing, so unfortunately we didn't actually see much of the mountains at all.. a risk you take in November. We visited some different areas, stopped for lunch, visited the market. Tomasz obviously loved the area and knew it well. Like all Polish people we met, he was so gracious and wanted to share all he could about his country. He wanted us to try a traditional Polish cheese, and said he'd bring us one when we met back up at the van to leave. Which he did. Lovely..

Great trip, our guide, was great and Zakopane was beautiful.Spent all most the whole day there. Our guide was very knowledgable and sweet. Great little flea market there.
