We were picked up at location of our choice, our driver was lovely and there was great communication regarding pick up point etc. We had a private taxi with another family but it was very spacious with 7 of us all together. Our guide was lovely, she was so knowledgeable and her English was brilliant. Would definitely recommend. Auschwitz is something everyone should see in their lifetime.

Itinerary
Your trip to Auschwitz will start with picking up from a previously determined place in Krakow from a hotel or apartment. The journey from Krakow to Auschwitz takes about 1,5 hour. Information about the driver who will pick you up the phone numbers to him and the color of the vehicle that will pick you up, you will receive the day before the planned trip.
When you arrive at Auschwitz, you will meet your guide. Together you will enter the museum and in less than 2 hours of walking he will show you one of the darkest places from the World War II. During your visit to this place you will see: the gate "Arbeit mach frei", the last one gas chamber that survived and a lot of exhibitions with photos and remains of prisoners
After the break, the driver will take you to the second camp, Auschwitz II Birkenau. You will meet your guide again in front of the entrance gate. During the more than an hour walk, your guide will show you the second camp, which was the largest concentration camp built by the Nazis. In this camp you will see: "Death Gate" with the tracks leading to the camp, the unloading ramp where the trains with prisoners arrived, the ruins of the gas chambers and crematoria, the monument to the victims of the Holocaust and buildings where prisoners lived.
After completing the tour, the driver will drop you to your hotel in Krakow

Annoyed that I booked a 8.10am pick up and they changed it with no notification so we had to wait in the cold for over an hour
As a solo female travler, I felt safe going on this viator excursion. The communication was great. The directions to the pickup location were concise, and very convenient. The driver was punctual and welcoming. The other tourist on this trip were all punctual and respectful. I would 100% go on another viator excursion. I highly recommend these tours.
We had a great experience. Our driver Iza was so good and picked us up and dropped us back at our hotel. Out tour guide Kate was also extremely good. Would recommend to everyone
The trip to Auschwitz- Birkenau was a deeply thought provoking and disturbing experience. It’s something I’ve read so much about and wanted to go but faced with the atrocities that took place there really hits home and can be very emotional. There is a considerable amount of walking involved and very little time to yourself for breaks or browsing yourself. The day lasted over 7 hours from start to finish.
A somber experience and one I won’t forget. Everyone should visit the memorial so moving. Unfortunately I felt that we were rushed through the museum and the camp. Better going on your own to take it all in rather than a group although the guide was excellent. Both venues were so crowded that it I didn’t have time to reflect in peace about what happened. So many younger groups talking loudly and not respecting were they were. But asides from that I would go back But not in a group.
The driver and the guide were both knowledgeable and efficient. I’d recommend both
An extremely worthwhile and important trip to undertake. The tour guides provide a sensitive tour to explain the history.
Great communication from the tour operator and smooth tour altogether. Driver, Iza, was great and our guide at the museum was very knowledgeable
Everything was very well organized from start to finish! The driver was friendly and professional, and our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and respectful. Auschwitz is understandably a very emotional and heavy-hearted place to visit, but our guide did a wonderful job sharing its history with such care and compassion. They made a difficult yet important experience truly memorable and meaningful. I really appreciated the entire experience and wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you!
Very well organised trip. Tour guide Alexandra was great. Just a shame it got dark quickly whilst still at Birkenau.
Outstanding service, from being picked up and being dropped back off everything was well organised and clearly communicated. Friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Great tour operators!
A very good trip, hightly recomended. Very nice chauffeur and the guide was extremley good. However remember to bring something to drink and eat cause there is hardley any time to go and buy something.
Really communicative about pick up, bus could have had better air con but we did go on a very hot day. The guide was very good, informative and held up to all expectations.
It was a great experience from start to finish, our driver Michal was so friendly and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable
Excellent from start to finish. Kept in touch prior to visiting. The time given was stuck too and no problems with pick up. Superb day with excellent driver and tour guide. Thank you
The pick up was on time and driver was very lovely and welcoming, the guide also very friendly and informative! Would highly recommend :)
Excellent trip! Picked up at our hotel by a friendly & professional driver. Guided round both camps by a guide who was both informative and respectful of our surroundings. A moving experience that everyone should have.
Very well organised and good communication regarding the transfer and timings, making you aware no time for lunch, etc. I think the only thing I would have preferred is being told once you pass a certain part, you won't be going past it again - mainly relevant to the Birkenau part as our guide pointed out the train tracks and the wagon cart and gave us the story correlating to them but we did not get to see them up close (others were close so it's not that is was restricted) and we walked past and onto look at where people slept and I asked if we would get to see the wagon cart and she said no there is no time to go back. It wasn't the end of the world but just be aware the guides don't leave much room for reading all the literature etc, it's very fast moving, again I get that as it's a long tour and a lot of walking, but a heads up to manage expectations would have improved the tour.
The trip is very organised and the narrative of what happened in the camps so sensitively told by the guide . Although difficult to hear and see , I feel it is something we all should do and will Stay with me forever .
This is a trip I believe everyone needs to go on. I have watched, read and listened to lots of stories but nothing prepares you for the harsh reality of what the people sent there went through trying to survive. It makes you appreciate how precious life is to us all, from every corner of the world. Our guide was very try informative, knowledgeable and passionate throughout the tour.
Definitely recommend to book with this company from start to finish the experience was great transport on time and the tour guides where so informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Also these guys where the cheapest we found and the whole trip was perfect
amazingday from start to finish. guide Anna was A* plus. Driver isi was great. knowledgeable and compasion excellent. cant recommend these enough. you will not be disappointed.
Our tour guide was very knowledgable. Unfortunately we felt our group was far too large and felt too rushed, with not enough time to read any literature or spend enough time to really see exhibits.
Excellent trip all ran like clockwork
Viator was excellent - great communication from the company about the whole trip, kept well informed, great organization for getting there. Pleasant friendly driver. Venue/museum is VERY busy. Tour groups are large. Tour too rushed, not enough time/opportunity to read things or take in the exhibits, which was disappointing. Whilst our guide was very knowledgeable and gave lots of information, he was totally oblivious to those in the group who found it difficult to keep up when walking around the grounds. Would have preferred a less manic pace with time to really appreciate the museum.
Exceptional service, professional well organised. The driver was very helpful and the tour guide was informative l, passionate and made the trip memorable. Thank you
The tour was very well organised. Driver was professional and friendly. Guide was excellent. Very knowledgable and spoke extremely well. He was respectful and well spoken. I wouldn’t change anything with the tour
The tour was very well organised. Driver was professional and friendly. Guide was excellent. Very knowledgable and spoke extremely well. He was respectful and well spoken. I wouldnt change anything from what was provided
Would absolutely recommend Welcome in Cracow for this trip. Competitive rates, communication ahead was excellent and very friendly. The trip overall and guides, whilst emotional, was excellent.
A very emotional experience. The visit gave me an appreciation of the scale operation - pure evil. The hotel pick up was very well organised and the guide was excellent
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Auschwitz-Birkenau Guided Tour from Kraków We had a very well-organised and informative trip from Kraków to Auschwitz and Birkenau. The tour operators were excellent, and our driver, Adam, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The timings were great, and everything ran smoothly throughout the day. The tour guide at Auschwitz was amazing, knowledgeable, and respectful, providing a moving and insightful understanding of the history of Auschwitz and Birkenau. It was a deeply emotional and memorable experience, handled with great care and professionalism. We also ordered the packed lunch, which was good value for money and a convenient option for the trip. We booked through Viator, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kraków who wants a well-organised, informative, and meaningful tour. Thank you to Adam and the entire team for making the day run so smoothly.
We were picked up by Kuba and given a very friendly and informative drive to Auschwitz. All was very well organised and informative. Would really recommend booking.
Excellent trip. Everything was delivered with high quality. The whole system is a bit strange though, that you book a time slot, but they then can give you another time slot.
Very organised tour and it was easy to follow at each pick up point.
Piotr was on time, very welcoming, friendly and professional as well as an excellent driver. Patricia who was our guide during the Auschwitz tour was excellent. It is an emotional & harrowing tour and having a guide who is knowledgeable and passionate about the history makes a difference to the experience. Would highly recommend
We had a great day everything went clockwork Michael and Renata were excellent guides. Couldn’t have asked for better Thank you Pat and Dalia
A lot of walking, around 10,000 steps in total, but well worth it. Our guide was really informative and conveyed the necessary info without sensationalism. I really did not want to go on this trip, it was my partner who wanted to do it, but I am glad that I did. Very sad, but a warning from history.
We had an excellent day with this tour, really clear instructions for pickup and Michael took great care of us. Smooth pickup, bus nice and comfortable, and everything as it had been explained. Our tour guide was lovely, got the tone and detail spot on. We booked the packed lunch which was tasty and good value for money. Definitely recommend.
The communication leading up to the trip was outstanding, the coach was on time and the driver was very informative. On arrival the instructions were clear of where we needed to be. Our guide was amazing.
Fabulous trip from start to finish. Great community, friendly staff and the trip itself is an absolute must for everyone, but also very harrowing and hard to believe the evil and cruelty that is in the world 😥
Driver was very friendly & helpful. Nice guy! Our guide was very helpful, informative and clear speaking English and took the time to wait for us before giving out information to the group which was great as we were very slow keeping up as the terrain was sore under our feet. Thanks again & very much recommend your services x
Very organised Tour . Pick up was on time and the communication beforehand was excellent . Fortunately for us we had a fantastic guide who showed empathy throughout the tour and came across very knowledgable . We weren’t rushed at all. We also had an option to purchase a packed lunch which was very handy due to the length and timings of the tour .
Very informative tour , well organised although very crowded. Our guide tried very hard to work around the crowds and gave clear instructions
This is a very touristy and busy place with lots of other groups and you are moved on very quickly without really having time to process and read the various signs . There are 2 sites you visit and obviously it is a very harrowing experience but also very rushed. There are multiple tour companies doing this it seems that the tour time you select can be changed without consultation … apparently it is due to the museum times they say …. so don’t have other plans that day ! Despite all this it is a must do experience to appreciate the horrors of the past .
A fantastic well organised tour from start to finish. We received clear pick up instructions the evening before. Our driver picked us up from where we were staying on time. Our driver Kuba was very friendly and provided lots of advice and recommendations about the area. The tour guide was very professional, respectful and empathetic which made this a very moving experience. We have no complaints and would use for further tours if visiting Krackow again
What ever reservations you have, this trip is thought provoking and definitely worth it. You may need some tissues
We received excellent service and response from the team . I accidentally cancelled my tour and they reinstated my original pricing and time . The driver and guide was very good and I would recommend this company!
This experience gives travellers the opportunity to visit two of the Nazi concentration camps from WW2. The guide provided clear context to what we were seeing and moved us through the camps without rushing us. Her commentary was factual and respectful, not sensationalising the experience at all. Given the context, it can be a difficult and emotional experience, but my daughter and l were glad we had visited. There is a lot of walking and numerous steps to navigate. The terrain is uneven and broken, so those with mobility concerns should prepare for a tiring day. Walking shoes / boots are a must. The coach travel to and from the sites was comfortable and well-organised. Highly recommended.
It’s a very long day, big queues and no time for refreshments but I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Our guide was excellent very clear and interesting and the driver was also very good.
