We booked this tour 4 weeks in advance, only for Crown Tours to cancel 3 days before the booking. Their reason for cancelling was that they couldn’t secure us tickets to Auschwitz. Cancelling three days before the booked date means we missed out on all other tour options as everyone had sold out. Crown Tours never informed us that our tickets weren’t guaranteed so we didn’t have any opportunity to look for a 2nd operator when there was still availability.

Very disappointing experience – Tour cancelled at the last minute. I booked the Kraków to Auschwitz Guided Tour with Ghetto Visit and Transfers on 3rd October for 19th October, only to be informed on 17th October that my tour had been cancelled due to a supposed system connectivity issue. This is completely unacceptable. I booked and paid for this tour well in advance, and the cancellation came just two days before the scheduled date, leaving us with very little time to make alternative arrangements. We had travelled to Poland and planned our trip around this experience, so this caused unnecessary stress and disappointment. What makes the situation even worse is that I had previously booked another Auschwitz tour and cancelled it because I had secured a booking with Crown Tours. As a result, we were left without a tour altogether. The explanation that availability had not been updated correctly is not an acceptable excuse. If a company accepts bookings and payments, it should have a reliable system to ensure that customers’ reservations are honoured. If there was an issue, we should have been informed much earlier, rather than at the last minute. Offering a full refund does not make up for the inconvenience, wasted time, disappointment, and the difficulty of finding an alternative tour so close to the date. There was not any tour available at all. I also contacted Crown Tours to ask whether they could accommodate us, but this situation should never have happened in the first place. I would not recommend Crown Tours based on this experience. The lack of planning and last-minute cancellation have seriously damaged my confidence in the company. Customers deserve better communication, reliability, and respect for their time and travel plans.

I had a great experience today on the tour! Both the tour guides Ilaria and Krzysztof were so friendly and kind! Ilaria was very organized and helpful with all questions, while Krzysztof provided great history and information. The Polish man who also drove us to the location was great! The staff were all so great and made the experience wonderful. I’d recommend this tour to others! Thank you!!

Shocking experience to realise how sick a human mind can get! Every person should visit this dark monument of humanity, to prevent from reaching the edge again… As far as Crown tours, Matteo and our guide Eva were polite, communicative, and very eager to answer all group questions and make our eight hours tour pleasant. Really clever time management with explanations about the camp sights during our journey to the place! Definitely recommended!

A splendid day with an incredibly knowledgeable guide who conveyed a complex history in an exemplary manner. A big thanks to Maddalena as well, who safely guided us throughout the day—from meeting points and bus transports to the overall service. We did the tour of the Krakow ghetto and visited Auschwitz-Birkenau in a wonderful sunny October day. The bus transport was comfortable, and all our expectations were met to the fullest! We would highly recommend Crown Tours.

We got 2 tickets last minute and WOW these guys at Crown Tours were great! They needed to get the names on the tickets changed at the last minute without any problems. The walking tour of the Jewish ghetto was very informative and interesting. The drive to Auschwitz was as smooth as could be and comfortable too. We saw 2 separate parts of the camps on a very thorough tour. It was an unforgettable and emotional experience. I would highly recommend using Crown Tours for any excursion you might be interested in.

I booked this tour from Crown tours together with my partner. Matteo was very accommodating and ensured that everything went smoothly. The small group size was good, we had plenty of time to ask questions. Compared to most other tours, this tour starts with a guided walking tour through Krakow’s ghetto which provides even more historical context. Our guide for the ghetto tour, Christoph, knew many details and explained everything to us very well. During our transfer to Auschwitz, Christoph also gave more historical context around the rise of the Nazi regime. Apart from visiting the camps, we also had the chance to see further landmarks around the camps. The tour was very well organized and we highly recommend it.

I received my confirmation tickets also details on the day where to meet. Done the walking tour but when the other guide came to scan our tickets he said they never had one for me. This was for husbands birthday and they had let me down 2 days previous when I booked through booking.com. Just a sorry and you will receive your refund. Why sell tickets when they know they can't get them.

Sadly we never made it on the tour as they cancelled the evening before our trip. We had to beg GetYourGuide for a refund and crowntours took no responsibility for the inconvenience. Because they cancelled our tour so late we were not able to book anything else and therefore never made it to Auschwitz. It was the only reason we came to krakow and therefore we were very disappointed and sad. They even sent us all the info about meeting location and what to bring right before they cancelled it….

Crown Tours cancelled our tour at the very last minute and did not offer any alternative solution. As it was our final day in Kraków, we had no opportunity to book another tour. The cancellation came so late that all other tour operators were already fully booked. When we contacted customer service, they showed very little understanding of the situation and essentially told us that it was our problem. This was especially disappointing since the main reason we came to Kraków was to take this tour. Overall, a very frustrating experience and poor customer service. I would not recommend booking with Crown Tours.

Guide during Krakow ghetto tour not always easy to follow. Time in Kampen unfortunately too short. Even more impressive and well organized.

Totally recommended. Both Magdalena and Cristofer were attentive and had very good explanations. We return delighted with this tour.
