The guide walked too fast . She should have given us headphones for birkenau. I saw other guides sharing much more information

We booked the tour a week ago, Igor contacted us yesterday to say what time he was picking us up from the hotel between 6.45- 07.00 and asked if we required a packed lunch, which we didn’t We had a early start at 6.45 and Igor was there on time in a very clean Mercedes minivan 6 persons, Igor explained what the itinerary for the day, we thought Igor was just the driver however on arriving at Auschwitz he explained that he was the tour guide for the day, . Igor is a very experienced and very knowledgeable person explaining everything from start to finish in the museum rooms and around the grounds of Auschwitz we were not rushed in any way and on completion we had a 20min break before we went to Auschwitz 2 , again Igor explained everything and again not rushed. On completion he then drove the 6 passengers off back to their own hotels, We could not have asked for a better tour and guide this was a great experience and good value for money.
Really good but sad experience. You can't imagine what they went through. And I think it's important to learn about it. Tour guide was really good. But I felt it was rushed. We will definitely be visiting again but without a tour guide. Our driver was good too.
Highly satisfying experience. Everything worked as promised. Thank You.
A very well organised incite full and thought provoking trip. Igor our driver communicated well throughout and got us where we needed to be in a friendly and timely manner. Renata our guide at the camps was very passionate and knowledgeable. Very glad we took the trip.
It was a very good experience and our tourguide Igor was very nice and explained everything really well. Really enjoyed it :)
Tomasz was a great guide and driver. Perfect communication and very helpful and accommodating for our group.
We had an early tour ( hotel pickup at 6.30am) so as to miss the crowds. The minibus was spotless with a very competent driver (unfortunately he didn't speak much so it was a quiet trip). The guide at Auschwitz and Birkenau was excellent, quite a lot of walking at Birkenau.
Absolutely fab day, super organised! Was an added bonus that our driver Igor was able to arrange a packed lunch for us too - excellent value, well worth it! Totally amazing trip, excellent contact, comfy van for travelling too. Highly recommend :)
Excellent from start to finish , picked up right outside our hotel and dropped back again , also would highly recommend you get the packed lunch really worth the money . We went early in morning would recommend as we were back to hotel around 13.30 and were picked up that morning at 07.10 .
Everything went very smoothly from booking through to pick up, our driver Igor communicated all the details well. Our guide at the museum was excellent and our transfer journey home was fine. The museum itself was powerful, somber and heartbreaking. An experience that will stay with me always.
Igor, what a legend. He provided information as needed prior to the tour and answered all questions asked in good time. On the day: Picked us up directly from hotel and provided an effective brief on the dos and don’ts of the site whilst en route. Then he provided an excellent tour of both sites. He also offered and provided a basic packed breakfast and lunch for a reasonable cost (60pln per person). Igor’s English is great, and you can definitely tell he takes his role to educate very seriously, he delivered the tour with no notes.
Igor, our tour guide to Auschwitz today was excellent. He was friendly, took good care of us, was always easy to hear and very informative. He was highly respectful of us and the site and I found the whole trip very impressive. I would highly recommend Igor as a tour guide without reservation.
An very well organised trip from the pick up at the hotel to the guide taking us round the camps. Lukasz was our driver and was a great driver and communicator re the arrangement of pick up time the day before on WhatsApp and option for lunch as we were leaving early to beat the crowds and would miss breakfast. I was thinking there may be some hold ups before entering re tickets and passports etc but our company has it well organised and there was no waiting on arrival at Auschwitz and our guide was also really informative, she was with us round both camps which you go back in the minibus to be driven 5/10 mins away to Birkenau and then head back into krakow from there. 2 to 2.5 hours round Auschwitz and an hour at Birkenau. The time at each camp was deeply emotional and chilling to see the gas chambers and remnants of crematoriums. I’d recommend this company as there was no problem with any part of the organisation and the day could not have been any better planned. It was also great value for money at £44 each and the packed lunch was really good too and also really good value for money 👌
Good trip. Early pick and then when you arrive you journey a queue of about 30 mins to get in. When we came out about 11am no queue. Guide was informative. Due to the amount of people you did not get time to take in everything you were shown.
Excellent trip Picked up on time although very early Comfortable minibus Fantastic guide who talked for five hours Really good value and very informative
Had a guided tour with John on 12th March with friends, we are from Britain, our tour guide John was very friendly, professional, respectful and knowledgeable, could not fault anything, would recommend to everyone who wants to experience this life changing event.
The tour was great, Igor was very knowledgeable and provided an amazing commentary at both camps. His commutation prior and on the day was excellent. We would highly recommend him and the small van option.
Igor was such a good all round guide, from the first communication to being picked up, the information given during the journey, the excellent detail and knowledge of the tour. His polite approach and manner at all times. Would not hesitate to recommend Igor for first class service throughout. Thank you.
Definitely book this trip with Igor, the whole trip was well organised, communication to pick you up etc was excellent. Igor was brilliant an excellent driver and guide, he was so knowledgeable on providing the history. He is very pleasant and friendly and made the trip a total success. Definitely get the packed lunch it was delicious we had a freshly made baguette with cheese, ham and salad, banana, apple, water, crisps, choc bar, juice, cake so worth it as you don’t have time to get from the restaurant We were blown away by what we learnt today at the camps a horrific ordeal for everyone who went through there, but we showed our respect to them in understanding what they went through. Shame we haven’t learnt from our past. Igor made it so easy and put everyone at ease thank u Igor
Great experience and extremely knowledgeable guide with igor, this trip is a must do when visiting krakow
A very good day on the Tour Konrad was a fantastic host along with the translator he was very knowledgeable and did a great job showing us around highly recommended Konrad and his team
Igor our guide was, from start to finish, very professional, respectful and knowledgeable. We learned so much from our experience, do not hesitate to book this tour you will not be disappointed
Very well organised and informative tour, pick up was punchual and the small group was nice to do. As for the two sites I can only say that the enormous size of what went on need to be seen
Having been told to expect collection from our hotel between 6 and 8am, we were surprised that our driver didn't arrive until nearer 11am. The guided tour started at 12.30pm and it was more like a route march from the visitors centre around the Auschwitz camp and the component parts of the Holocaust memorial. Our guide, whilst being very knowledgeable rushed us around the exhibition despite me asking him to slow up as my husband was struggling to keep up with pace plus we were missing out on the commentary in the relevant areas because of this and were unable to read any of the information boards or just stand and reflect on the enormity of it all. I think it's important that the tour officials point out before booking that there is a huge amount of walking involved, perhaps consider offering golf buggy type transport for those less able to keep up, no disabled facilities offered at all. Disappointing overall especially considering the gravitas we felt during the whole experience.
Excellent tour and the guide was very good and knowledgeable. Lots of walking but worth it. It was freezing the day we went but it made you appreciate how awful it was for the poor people in the camps
Igor took us on the trip and we felt in good hands. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Ana was our guide inside the museum and she did a great job in escorting us around. Would highly recommend
Had an amazing time today visiting Auschwitz & Berkenau. Booked the tour as a package with hotel pick up, skip the line, tour guide and a packed lunch. We were picked up by the amazing knowledgeable driver Igor on time. He had messaged the previous day to confirm details and to order the packed lunch (sandwich/salad crisps, croissant, chocolate bar, apple, banana, water and juice) which was very good value for money (60 zloty). He dropped up to Auschwitz, gave us our tickets and waited with us until we had cleared security and met our tour guide. The tour guide was also very knowledgeable and kept us all engaged. Igor met us after the first part of the tour and took us to Berkenau, again waited around and then dropped us all back to our hotels (6 people in bus). Travel time was approx 1 hour 20 minutes. Bus was very clean and comfortable. Thank you we will definitely book this tour again and recommend to friends / family.
Excellent trip. Timely pickup from hotel with friendly knowledgeable staff and guides giving a moving account of the holocaust Very good and lots be of walking so wear good shoes
Very well managed visit by Tomasz. The early start was especially good because we were able to avoid the bigger crowds later in the day, and we were back in Krakow by early afternoon. A very humbling visit, and remembering all the people whose footsteps we trod in.
Konrad and Thomas were extremely incredible, especially with communication - so clear, console and fast to answer. The tour was moving and beautiful. Through this company, it’s so simple, and you avoid busy crowds. You’re at both the camps for about 3-4 hours and it’s well priced (you pay through this company). I couldn’t recommend this experience enough, it’s so important.
Book trip to Auschwitz on 20th November with Get your guide for 10 am The night before got a what's app message saying due to the large amount of people visiting the camps your trip is now going at 5 30am be outside the main shopping mall train station for 5 15 am So me and my partner got there for 5am Just after 5 30 coach's and mini buses started arriving we ask everyone that pulled in are we on your coach minibus no was the answer We were still there at 6 o clock last two people no more transport arriving So we went back to are hotel About 8 o'clock we got a phone call off the driver saying he was there at 5 15 He said he got off his coach shouting my and my partners name I said you are taking rubbish we asked every driver that pulled up His answer to that was well you don't get your money back I have given Get your guide a review up to now not head a word from them
A fantastic trip, from pick up to drop off , highly recommended, great tour guide, well worth the money
A must see place to visit when in krakow - If ever there was a place to experience what Hell on Earth looked and felt like , Go visit the camps - Brought 2 teenagers and I was a bit worried that the younger one would be effected , she was fine . The tour operator was really good from start to finish - what’s app messages for all information - well in formed byThomas and Arthur - pick up on time from hotel entrance - they also offered to provide a snack bag for lunch , handy if you don’t want to pack a lunch yourself - Tickets were booked in advance - Overall it was a good experience and would recommend to others coming to krakow - Thank you Thomas and Arthur - Rita from Ireland 🇮🇪
Had a excellent trip . I at was heart wrenching but also incredibly emotional but informative, so glad we visited this attraction, learnt a lot about our history
Very well organised, most friendly efficient driver and tour guides, a seem less great experience and truly recommended.
The whole tour was excellent from the driver who picked us up from our hotel and made sure we were where we needed to be on time, to our guide Anna who took us through Auschwitz and Birkenau. It was a very moving experience and I highly recommend this tour.
Organisation was excellent. A very good guided tour, done with utmost respect for the victims. Fully recommend the tour, but prepare for it to be emotionally demanding.
What a sad thing that happened in our world, it was a long tour about 1.5-2 hrs ride each way. History that our generation or younger generations should study about and hope it’s will never again! Please reserve a tour as early as you can and must bring your passport with you, security are tight, I suggest to get a private tour just for your group, it will smooth and quicker and more personal than a 20-30 people per group. Still have and old stuffs such as shoes, hair, baby clothes and place that they sleep and got killed. Hope we are in the better world now.
This was a trip that everyone should do - we all need to understand the horrors that happened during war time, and do everything in our power to avoid these atrocities happening again - be that at home or abroad. The sheer scale of the site, and the belongings left behind by those who were murdered is mind blowing.
Thomas was an excellent driver and the whole entire experience was so organized. He even came back to our hotel after I left a jacket in his van. For how gut wrenching visiting this dark place in human history this company made things go very smoothly. Anna is a wonderful tour guide with a vast knowledge of this awful time period. Please utilize this service!
Have been before years ago but still gets to me. I feel all school children should visit here instead of what seems non sensical trip.
The trip was very we'll run, the driver provided great service just like the company when they were contacted. He gave details of lunch packages. The English speaking tour guide, Charles, was extremely knowledgeable and well understood. Nothing was too much for the company who as stated provided a fantastic service.
What a great tour thank you very much Kate it was fantastic. Informative, emotive and expertly delivered. Added bonus was the efficient transfer from Krakow.
Our visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau was a profound and moving experience that left a lasting impact on us. Our guide Monique was exceptional, providing insightful context and sharing stories that brought the history to life in a respectful manner. The solemnity of the site, combined with the guide's knowledge and empathy, created an atmosphere that honored the memories of those who suffered there. It was a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of remembering the past. Highly recommend this tour.
A very insightful trip that was made stress free by doing the day tour. We were led to exactly where we needed to be and the guide who took us around the camps was excellent. We paid £40 each for the middle of june which I think is an amazing price for what we got. I only wish we had a longer break to have our lunch but apart from that it was a 10/10.
So we've been waiting years to visit Auschwitz and Birkenau as it's been on our bucket list for a very long time. Our tour guide, Lukas, was exceptional ! Very VERY informative and had fantastic stories etc, he made the tour feel very real and definitely opened our eyes to the history of the place and for what people went through so a huge HUGE thankyou to him and also to Matty for picking and dropping us off. The tour is a lot of walking, as expected. What definitely lets the tour down is the time given to take in surroundings and appreciate what you're travelled a very long way to see. This mainly being the sites inside the buildings. There is so soooooooooooooo many other tours going on that you're basically forced through locations at speed and don't get time to properly see artifacts and possessions etc We looked forward to seeing and appreciating things like the hair, shoes, baggage etc but were forced passed the displays due to many tours behind us and our tour guide being ahead. This really let it down. The venue really should account for the volume of people and LET people see what they've paid good money to appreciate. It's not on racing people through just to gain as much income as possible....let people have more time to stop, see and absorb the displays and areas i.e standing or starvation cells etc Aside from this the tour guide was simply AMAZING ! the headsets helped a lot to hear what was being told to us at all times, maybe a couple of times it broke up but most of the time we were able to hear. Oh and we had very very veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy little time i.e less than 5mins to go into and buy stuff from the gift shop(s) which again was hugely disappointing as we wanted to take gifts back and things for ourselves.
Great company! Excellent communication and the driver advised of pick up time the day before. He arrived on time, was helpful and friendly and made meeting up with our personal tour guide at Auschwitz easy. For an extra fee you can purchase a lunch box that’s waiting for you in the car. You are then dropped back to your hotel when you’re finished. Highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to see Auschwitz.
though provoking, humbling experience. felt the whole process was very rushed and no time to take it all in. nobody's fault as the sheer volume of people dictated the speed of the tour.
very fast paced-long walks, trouble keeping up with the group, large distances traveled by foot with a lot of steps up and down
