Our tour guide Kasia gave us an unforgettable and truly authentic experience on our first day in the city. Kasia is proud of and passionate about her city and brought its traditional food and drinks culture to life for us. Highlights were Kasia's enthusiasm for the history and culture of Polish food and drinks, getting a great introduction to the local area and tasting the iconic perogi dumplings, the zapiekanka street food baguette and the popular rose hip jam paczki doughnut - plus traditional vodka. In summary a great experience. Thankyou Kasia.

Itinerary
We’ll start with a sweet jadłozianka in an authentic local hidden gem — a local twist on the classic open-faced sandwich. Served on soft bread with creamy cheese and a touch of jam or honey, it’s a simple yet delicious treat that brings back childhood memories for many Kraków locals. A perfect sweet start to our tour!
At our second hidden gem, you’ll enjoy a mix of savory pierogi — potato & cheese, cabbage & mushroom, and juicy meat-filled dumplings, all handmade and full of flavor. They’re served with a glass of kompot, a traditional Polish fruit drink made by gently simmering seasonal fruits. Light, refreshing, and the perfect match for this comforting dish!
At this stop, dive into the iconic zapiekanka, Kraków’s legendary open-faced baguette piled high with melted cheese and mushrooms. For an authentic twist, choose from other flavors like savory meats or veggies. Paired with a sparkling homemade limonada, this classic street food is not only a tasty bite but a true piece of Kraków’s culinary history — a hidden gem loved by locals for decades.
Time to say “Cheers!” with a shot of authentic Polish cherry vodka at a cozy local spot. Vodka is a must-try in Poland, and this sweet cherry flavor is a perfect introduction — smooth, rich, and a true taste of Polish tradition. Raise your glass with new friends and celebrate the unforgettable flavors of Kraków!
We’ll finish on a sweet note with a floral pączek — a traditional Polish doughnut filled with fragrant rose or other floral jam. Soft, fluffy, and irresistibly delicious, it’s the perfect treat to end our hidden gems food journey through Kraków.

Zuzu was super engaging with excellent English and very informative we really enjoyed our tour and the perogi were the best!
Fun introduction to Krackows’ amazing food scene with G ! We did this the first night and enjoyed wondering the city to try street food … lots of carbs and sweets!
Having been on many food tours across the world, this one wasn't as expected. Booked with this company specifically as they had the time that we wanted for the tour. Unfortunately they called a few days before the tour to ask that we changed our time. The person that called also didn't get the day right that we were to be there. At the meeting spot there were other companies meeting for a food tour too. They were full and I can't help but wonder if we would have been better with them. We were the only people on our tour and our guide told us that this was her 2nd job. She didn't really listen to us as my friend told her she didn't like plumb but she gave her food with that in it anyway. There were only really 3 stops and the last one was a doughnut to take away. It was like the leftovers from the end of the day. I was disappointed that it advertised beverages but that only meant 1 small alcoholic shot. In comparison to other tours I would probably book with another company as I didn't find this great value for money.
Our tour guide was lovely! There’s plenty of opportunities for getting delicious food accompanied by plenty of opportunity for getting your daily steps in, for sure. Looking back, we feel the tour could be improved by a possible addition of a protein/vegetable-heavy food stop, or two. Totally recommend, regardless.
The tour was amazing! We had Gabi as our guide and she was extremely knowledgeable and nice. Would 100% recommend this tour and ask for gabi!
We did the food tour with Gabi, she was friendly and great to chat to! She had a lot of knowledge of the city. We had just arrived that morning so hadn't explored anywhere yet so it was great to have someone show us around. We got to try some of the local foods, such as Pierogi and Zapiekanka and a homemade lemon vodka shot! It wasn't a tour that was completely focused on food, like I was expecting, but it was a good mix of food, sightseeing and local history. It was a great way to be introduced in to the city. I would gladly do another one of Gabi's tours.
Good value, good mix of foods tried. We had a great time on this tour and would recommend. We enjoyed it
Great food tour in an amazing neighborhood. We had the best pierogies and all the stops were very good. We could see and taste the local culture! Nice guide also!
This was a great way to see parts of Krakow that we may not have visited. Gosia, our guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and passionate about Krakow and the food. Make sure you come hungry though, there was plenty of food!!
Our guide, Kary, was our favorite part of Krakow…she was bubbly with an infectious laugh. She was very engaging and fun. The cost of the event was a bit steep for a 5 person family…maybe a family rate would be nice? Glad we did it!
Karina was a fun tour guide and kept things lively with discussion and information about the food and culture of Krakow.
Great way to experience a new city. A bit of walking, a bit of history and plenty of yummy food and drinks. My guide Kary was warm and friendly and shared lots of interesting local stories. All 5 stops offered a different type of local delicacy which were all delicious 😋 Make sure you arrive hungry, as you’ll definitely be full and satisfied by the end of the tour. Thanks Kary for a memorable tour ❤️
Go hungry, plenty of tasty treats both sweet and savoury. Gabby our guide was very informative, extremely personable, and went the extra mile with information and recommendations for the rest of our time here.
Very cool walking through the Jewish area of Krakow, packed with amazing history and great food along the way.
Gabi on the tour was brilliant! We started on Easter Sunday with some polish traditions (sharing an egg which she had prepared), being from krakow her knowledge was first rate and she had even more surprises in the city for us. Our group of 6 had a great time with her! The traditional food and drink was very tasty.
We went to 5 different hidden gems. We had tasty food with a friendly guide that explained lot of histories about polish food and culture.
I really enjoyed the drinks and the food. It was a great combination of sweet and salty flavors, and the drinks were excellent as well. A very enjoyable experience.
We had an awesome time eating local Polish food, every stop was delicious. The guide was fun and very helpful, he gave us a los of good tips.
Good food and company. Aida was a delightful guide. They were very accommodating with our tour being on Christmas Eve.
Great experience. Our guide was charming, knowledgeable, and super entertaining. The food was fun, the walk was moderate, the restaurants clean and yummy.
Uninspiring food tour. Our guide was lovely but not a local (or even Polish) and so the food and history information provided was little more than we had already read, and lacked the personal and family touch that can make the experience worthwhile. If we had known that the guide was going to pop into a couple of bakeries that we had already walked by, to buy a pastry and donut, we would have done it ourselves and saved a fortune. Wish we had just sampled the street food ourselves at the markets around the city.
Just as a heads up, the meeting place is not near the hotel Polski. Rather follow the link for directions that they give you because it’s about 15 minutes away from the hotel Polski by car. But once we found the fountain and met our guide, it was a great tour! Aida our guide was very sweet and very personable and knowledgeable. She let us to a couple of hole in the wall time food places where we had some very delicious authentic Polish dishes. She knew a lot about the foods that were selected for us and also told us about some of the neighborhoods we were walking through. She gave ia great tour, and I am craving more of those pierogies and Polish donuts!
I did this tour with friends and we had so much fun. Delicious food and great histories from the knowledge guide. All was nice and fun!
I loved every minute of this food tour! It was a perfect mix of traditional Polish dishes and local insights. The guide made the experience super engaging and personal. A great way to connect with Kraków beyond the tourist spots.
This tour was the highlight of my trip to Kraków. Every stop had something unique and tasty — especially the zapiekanka and traditional Polish dessert! Our guide was super friendly and full of interesting stories. It felt like exploring the city with a local friend. Don’t miss this experience!.
Great guide and delicious food! The pierogi was fantastic, fresh, flavorful, and the perfect taste of Kraków. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the city through its food and stories!!!
The tour went very well, we loved em pierrogy and kompot, the guide was very friendly and told us a lot about the history. I totally recommend it!
The tour was very good, the food and the guide was very friendly, we loved it because we had the opportunity to feel the local culture, we fully recommend it!
The ruqisima food I liked the pierogy and there were vegetarian options, which served me a lot! Everything was amazing! Every great stop!
