We absolutely loved this walking tour. The guide was funny, engaging, and full of crazy and interesting facts about Krakow that we would never have discovered on our own. It was both entertaining and informative, and I would definitely recommend it to others visiting the city.
Karolina was excellent on an interesting and well informed walk
Excellent start to our trip to Krakow. The trip was ideal for our first day, allowing us to get a feel for the ancient city, it's history and main landmarks and attractions. Thanks to guide Alex who was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour interesting throughout.
A really immersive, very well informed guided walking tour. Our guide Karolina was a real expert on all of the elements and highlights of the tour, very approachable and personable. I could not score it more highly. 10/10 Thank You.
They canceled the tour when we got there because not enough people signed up. Why couldn't they let us know ahead of time (even an hour ahead of time), as we planned our whole day around it. Extremely rude and inconsiderate.
We had a great time on the trip. Daniel was lovely very knowledgeable explained everything in detail and was so friendly. The length of the walk was just right. The donation that we paid was well worth it for all the information we received.
Very good guide. Made the wss as øking tour Very interresting,
This is a free tour, tip what you feel appropriate, you can just show up at appointed times or register before so we paid a nominal fee on this App that wasn’t necessary. Karolina was wonderful explaining Krakow lore, history and sites with a comfortable pace and break at cafe for 15-20 minutes that was lovely.
Very enjoyable tour with a lovely and well informed guide.
Alex is a great guide. She shared many interesting stories. He is very knowledgeable about the history of his country.
It was a very helpful experience.
Excellent. Alex was very friendly and informative, sharing personal family experiences of the past.
Maciej our tour guide was supremely knowledgeable and inspiring and took us on a tour of the Old Town and Wawel Castle. Maciej is an incredible tour guide who brought the history of Poland and Krakow vividly and entertainingly to life. He certainly knows his stuff, and by doing so is able to explain Poland and Kraków’s challenging and at times chaotic existence. Our guide was proudly Polish and his love and pride for the country informed our narrative journey so brilliantly. The tour is free but please ensure you generously tip your guide. Our tour was 3 hours. There is a welcome comfort break and a place to buy coffee at the University cafe. There is a great deal of walking involved at times at pace. Comfortable walking shoes and stamina are very much necessary! Sadly we left this brilliant walking tour to our last day. We should have done this on day 1 as it identifies places of interest that we weren’t able to explore fully.
I had a good time, the fee was money value, length of visit was very good as we visited all the places listed in the description except I was not able to go to visit the synagogue as I had to rush to the airport. The weather was very good as well as the crown size. Karolina was very patient, humble, kind and helpful. I really had a good time and enjoyed all the trip.
Excellent walking tour with our guide Karolina today. Karolina provided an interesting, engaging and fun detailed account of the city and it's long history. We'd definitely recommend this. Planning to do one of their other tours.
I had an overly verbose guide. I didn’t want to know the history of Poland starting with the Visigoths. If you’re an introvert like me, you’re best to skip this excursion.
Well worth doing / our guide Karolina was excellent / her knowledge and presentation of the information was top class all the way around Kracków. The best way to see where to go and what to miss out on. Would have no hesitation in doing it again and recommending the Tour and our guide.
Such an amazing castle the history there is so interesting
It was definitely a wonderful experience. If you really want to know the history of the town you are visiting and get the vibe of life in Krakow this is the best way to do it. Our guide, Rudolf, was very interactive and made the tour really enjoyable. The tour lasted 2.5 hours with a lot of walking, so if you are travelling with young children it might not be the best choice.
Maciek is a great guide! Interesting stories, cool city
We tried both the Old Town and Jewish Quarter tours on the same day with our guide Dale. Both tours were well conducted, extremely informative and Dale made the experience memorable. His knowledge of the of the city and sites and his passion for history made it enjoyable. I would highly recommend both tours.
Excellent tour with Maciej, very knowledgeable with lots of crowd interactions. A great mix of history and local legends. Thank you Maciej! (Group photo is from the afternoon tour to the Jewish quarter we did with Karolina)
Both myself and my grandson really enjoyed the walk and Dale who was our tour guide was really friendly and very knowledgeable, would 100% recommend.
Excellent tour, good pace and very informative
Our guide Maciek was well informed and enthusiastic about sharing some of the history and legends of Poland. He also provided tips on what landmarks were worth paying for the entry fee, and what ones were best enjoyed from outside. We certainly have a much better idea of the framework of Poland than we did before the tour. Definitely recommend it.
Great walk with Rudolph ! Very knowledgeable and lots of fun.
Excellent guide—great overview of Polish history
This was so so good!!!! Our tour guide Maciek was attentive, informative , funny and we learned so much ! I would go to any tour associated with City walks krakow!!!! Well done , time well spent !!!!
Rudolph was an excellent tour guide. He’s full of enthusiasm for his beautiful city having lived there all his life his love for the it is infectious ! Rudolph is easy to listen to, very clear and concise. I would thoroughly recommend him.
Very informative and enjoyable. Alex was an excellent and very pleasant guide.
The walking tour with Rudolph was brilliant, he provided so much history of Poland and of Krakow in particular as we walked between the main tourist spots in the Old Town. Would thoroughly recommend this Tour to everyone.
Absolutely brilliant walking tour, the guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. I couldn’t recommend him more, it was excellent
Karolina was great-personable, willing to answer questions. It was a great activity to learn more about the Krakow
Very nice walking tour. I learned a lot and loved every moment. Knowledgeable tour guide with a great sense of humour and insight who covered legends and history of the city.
Rudolf was organised, well informed and very informative with regards to history, culture and legends. It was fun and very educational
Amazing tour! Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience really interesting and enjoyable
It was a great introduction to the city and history. It went on a lil longer, but that was great! Finished at the castle and cathedral, so perhaps consider getting tickets right after the tour. Only weird thing is that I was afraid the tour guide was gonna carelessly/accidentally smack someone in the face with his tour stick (it's long), haha... otherwise, loved it!
Great experience with Karolina as the tour guide. Imparted a tremendous amount of really interesting information.
Alex was excellent guide, lot of knowledge and information.
The tour was really good and Karolina was a great guide, funny, engaging and full of great information. Tip based, and well worth putting your hand in your pocket for. The tour ran slightly over, mainly I think because whilst it says it’s up to 25 people, there were at least 30 on our tour. Usually this is a bugbear for me, but Karolina projected her voice really well and we could hear her from anywhere in the group. Only delayed by the odd inconsiderate guest who go away from the group to take more photos and then want the information repeated when they eventually join back. It was a shame we didn’t have enough time in Krakow to book their second tour to the old Jewish quarter, but will definitely return to Krakow in the future and do it then.
It was fantastic. Karolina was a great guide!
Delightful and comprehensive tour. I liked our tour guide’s sense of humor. Poland has a complicated history that is hard to explain. He did a fine job. Please also understand these tours are “free” but you need to tip the guide.
Daniel was an excellent guide. He was enthusiastic and very knowledgable. He made sure that the group kept together and that we had stops on the way. Well worthwhile and gave us ideas of where to go when the trip finished.
Our guide Rudolph was excellent, the length perfect and content and sites very informative. Highly recommend!
Excellent walking tour. Our guide, Rudolf, was friendly, knowledgeable & entertaining.
Alex was an amazing guide. This was a really nice overview of Krakow. Having a passionate guide who cared made all the difference. She loves her desserts.
Great tour! Very detailed and interesting! The sights are beautiful and you’ll learn a lot from very knowledgeable guide with great energy!
This was a great introduction to the city. Karolina was very knowledgeable & witty. Just turn up @ 11am in front of St Mary’s the large brick church beside Cloth Hall. Free experience but we gave her a generous tip as she deserved it
This is a free tour and the small fee is paid for booking. The guide was excellent and showed us most interesting points of the old town. Good to do when you arrive as it helps you familiarise yourself with the Old Town.
