Slavo was great. Picked us up on time in new vehicle and helped us meet our tour guide and was waiting for us when we finished. Highly recommend!

Very emotive tour but definitely worth the very early start. Our guide provided packed lunches for a reasonable price, which were perfect as it was a tight schedule.
Good tour but both Auschwitz and the salt mines felt a bit rushed. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable but again it was a little rushed and very very busy. The walk to the lift at the end of the salt mines tour was absolutely crazy long, certain people would struggle.
An educational eye-opener, one that I think everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime
Prior to visiting Krakow I had read a lot of horror stories about companies offering Auschwitz-Birkenau tours and either cancelling, letting people down last minute or not being able to provide tickets. I found recommendations for auschwitztour.co.uk and it gave me confidence to book a tour with them. We booked the auschwitz and salt mine combined tour. The communication from Slawek was excellent, advising a driver will pick us up on the day agreed (exact time tbc) and payment is to the driver on the day (unlike other tours that want money up front). The day before we got an email confirming our pickup time and further details of the itinerary. We also got a WhatsApp from our driver Bartek who offered to do a lunchbox for 15 zloty each which we kindly took up his offer of. The morning of the tour we were advised our pickup would be 6:15-6:20. We stepped out or hotel at around 6:10 and Bartek was already waiting for us. We then proceeded to Auschwitz with 2 other couples where the admittance to the museum was quick, simple and organised. We only had to queue for around 10 minutes in the short queue compared to the main one and went straight in to begin our guided tour organised the museum. On completion of Auschwitz we got our excellent lunchbox with freshly made baguettes, fruit, drink and snacks. We then were taken straight to Birkenau and again it was well organised where we went straight in with the same museum guide. Bartek then took us to the salt mines and assisted us through the queue for the guided tour and advised us to message him once completed and he would come and pick us up (the exit is a few hundred metres from the entrance). Bartek then took us back to our hotel (or offered to drop off somewhere else in krakow if we wanted). Both myself and my partner were very impressed with how well the tour was organised and how smoothly everything went. I want to thank Slavek and Bartek for an excellent (but sobering) day and I would recommend Auschwitztour.co.uk to anyone wanting to do a tour. I would definitely use them again if I wanted to do the tour again in the future.
Highly recommend this trip, great communication from the Company and then the driver who collected us. Our driver was excellent, professional, friendly and polite. We ordered the lunch bag from him which was good value and very tasty. We were very concerned after reading lots of posts on social media about trips being cancelled last minute or having to leave at 4:00 am to queue for tickets but our concerns were completely unfounded. We were picked up at 7:40 am as arranged and our driver Bartek had our tickets for the 9:30 tour. He then met us with our lunch in the 30 minute break before the shuttle to Birkenau. After the shuttle returned us to Aushwitz Bartek was waiting for us to take us to the salt mines.
Very well organised. Communicated well by text and email. Pick up was on time. Guide (Mario) was excellent, coach was good, transfer from Salt Mines to Auschwitz went smoothly, them Mario came into his own with a respectful but passionate commentary around Auschwitz and the Death camps. Arrived back at Krakow where we were picked up.
When I see the thousands of hair. And shoes of Jews murdered by German SS soldiers and my experience when we went down to salt mine
Well organised tour. Daniel picked us up on time and was very friendly and informative about how the day would run. Eva , our guide at Auschwitz, was great . Very passionate and knowledgeable and always open to answering of any questions. Salt mines are amazing and again our guide was full of information about the history and always welling to talk. We had the lunch through them too which was good value . Would highly recommend this tour
Brilliantly well put together trip, The driver Daniel was amazing, friendly, helpful & punctual, great value for money.
For us, having a Dutch tour guide was important, hence using DutchPoint. This full tour-day is a must if you are interested in the history of WW2. Having a Dutch (experienced) guide from DutchPoint helps you to fully grasp the events which happened in the best. The tour is not for fun, but for a life experience which you will never forget. Even if you would want to...
We did the full day 11 hour tour incorporating Auchwitz, Birkenau and the Salt mines. Very long day but well worth it. Daniel our driver was on time for pick ups, very polite and knowledgeable, he even dropped some guests off at a restaurant of their choice. Comunication from the company was good. Top tip - Take a packed lunch as the breaks are as and when between tours, we got ours from a local supermarket.
The communication regarding pick up and the option of a packed lunch was great! The driver was really helpful & knowledgeable and the tour guides were fantastic! (And spoke good English) Be prepared for a lot of walking, we were shattered by the end of the day but would thoroughly recommend
We booked this tour for Auschwitz-Birkenau and Salt Mine with a local guide from Krakow. This company provided transportation from our hotel to Auschwitz, then to Birkenau, then to the salt mine and back to our hotel. 8 of us in an 8 passenger van. They were on time and delivered us just fine to each location. I would rate their efforts 4 stars. But the tour company does not accompany you to any sites. However, the guide we had at the two concentration camps was poor. Extremely difficult to understand when she used the Vox, impossible when she didn't. She had a attitude that she was an old school teacher who took no questions and punished you if you didn't know the answers to her questions. I would rate her a 1. The guide at the salt mine was very good. 800 stair steps on the tour, most down, elevator at the end to bring you back to the surface.
The all day tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Salt mine was very organized and educational. The communication from our driver, Daniel, in advance of the tour was very good and appreciated. We were picked up at our hotel at the time specified and we preordered a box lunch which was very helpful. The tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau was very educational and the guide did a great job of sharing the difficult subject in a compassionate yet factual manner. The Salt Mine tour was very interesting and allowed plenty of time for pictures throughout the mine. Would highly recommend this tour.
The day overall was enjoyable and extremely well organised. The Auschwitz guide was knowledgeable but delivered the tour as if it was a race and a chore. It felt unemotional and an anti-climax and I struggled to connect with the devasting and traumatic events that took place there. I was a little disabled by a knee injury but the guide wasn't able to pause even one minute for me to catch up with the group which left me feeling embarrassed and a hindrance. The Salt Mines were a revelation. The tour guide was excellent, fun and interactive. The 800 steps and vast area we covered were not a struggle. It was a great end to an exhausting, full day.
Couldn't have asked for a better tour. We were given 24 hours notice via email and whatsapp as to what time Daniel would be picking us up at and he was fantastically on time and chatty (which was perfect given how early it was on a Sunday!). We were offered to have packed lunches prepped but because my partner is fussy we bought pack-ups the day before from a corner shop. We were in a small VW people carrier that comfortably held 8 passengers and the driver so we could meet up with the rest of our tour at all the different locations but always returning to the same vehicle to ensure no one got left behind. We were able to leave coats and bag in the van. Nothing felt rushed, we were able to explore at our own pace. The tours were well planned and very informative. Having the sombre Auschwitz-Birkenau tour first was well thought-out because it gave you the chance to feel the gravity of the atrocities that happened there. I had been before but did really get to feel what happened there. For Auschwitz we were given head phones so there was no guides shouting over each other. At Birkenau there was no need for headset, due to the space and quietness the guides were able to spread out and just talk to you. The only issue we had was another tour guide at Auschwitz trying to wrangle her tour of teens and cuts ours in half so we had to track down our guide but that's not our guides fault, just the impatient guide in the pink hat and scarf. Doing the Salt Mines after was perfect, it some horrible way it lightened the mood perfectly. All in all, would highly recommend.
Our driver Daniel was very knowledgeable and professional. Communication was great before and on the day. A very good and safe driver. The tours were absolutely fabulous and informative. I would highly recommend doing both in one day as it was quite uplifting visiting the Saltmines in the afternoon. Daniel got the timings during the day spot on for us. Pick up at 7.20am and drop off about 6pm. You do alot of steps during the day so it was nice to get back to Krakow to relax in the evening. I would highly recommend the tour and guide.
Fantastic tour, would definitely recommend doing this. The driver picked us up on time ma, was friendly and made the journey enjoyable.
The guide, Daniel, was knowledgeable and professional. He arranged lunches for us in advance, showed up on time and was a very good driver. The entire your was coordinated perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!
We had a great driver in Daniel and the whole day went really well. It was so informative and humbling at the death camp and the mines were beautiful. We would recommend the tour and guide to anyone thinking of going.
Very nice tour. All was perfect. The drivers David and Lukasz was amazing and to the point. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience. Our driver was punctual and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this service.
Auschwitz so informative and excellent guide , and friendly save driver Daniel would recommend booking
Daniel was the most professional tour guide. He picked us up on time, gave us all details needed for the two tours and made sure we stayed together as a group. I highly recommend him.
I thought I knew alot about Auschwitz, and I did/do. But seeing up close is horrifying. I took it all in, every bit of our amazing knowledgable guide’s information. I bought a couple of books & a video at the gift store. While I’m not Jewish, my family members were taken as children to 4 different camps b/c they were Slav’s. They were used as slave labor. They never talked about their experience. I also had a tailor at home who showed me his arm (with his tattooed identity, & I took care of a patient in the hospital who was a child in Auschwitz the only camp where they tattooed). The experience was amazing, educational & reverent. I come back to my hotel, looked at the back jackets of the books I bought there, read & cried. Never forget the evil that is in this world. We must all remember the atrocities that mankind participated in. Never ever forget b/c as the saying goes, history repeats itself. This tour was educational, well preserved & Im grateful that I was allowed to see this place as it was, somber & a place that is now sacred b/c of the many lives tortured & lost there. May they rest in peace!
A great tour. Very well organised. Contacted the previous day and asked whether we wanted a packed lunch, pick up from our hotel by a very friendly, helpful driver who arrived spot on time. He was knowledgeable and happy to chat. Pick up points/times were clear at the different stages of the day. The tour of the camps was very well organised and the guide was excellent. Very thorough. The salt mines your is very good. The whole family enjoyed the day.
From the first contact with our driver, Konrad, through the 2 tours and final drop off was an excellent day. The reverence, respect and knowledge was top notch. I will be recommending your tours to anyone who will listen.
Daniel was an excellent driver, very kind and helpful in explaining all the details of the experience. The experience books the tickets for you so you don’t have to worry about amything but your document to bring! Selected guides were very helpful and thorough in their explanations. Super recommended!
We booked this tour, but were informed that the tour to the Salt Mine part would not go ahead due to it closing early. The Auschwitz part of the tour was very good & moving. The only criticism is that despite the fact we were promised a 60% refund for the Salt Mine part the full payment was taken & to date have still not received the refund. Ray Northey
The driver danial was very polite and informative. We were picked up on time from our apartment.Contact was made from our driver prior to the trip.excellant day out.would definately recommend to family.friends.and use trip advisor again in the future.
Extremely well organised the driver Daniel was prompt and friendly. We knew exactly what was going on with regard to where we were going and being picked up, couldnt fault it. Tour guides took over at both Auschwitz 1 and Birkenau and the Salt Mines. both very informative and readily answered questions. Auchwitz and Birkenau are a must see but sobering and horrifc at the same time. The Salt Mines are again a must see with a spectacular chapel some 100 metres below the ground. Absolutely amazing and the best part of the tour. The day is long 10 hours in fact but good to do both in one day so you can get on with seeing the square and old town. There are a mass of restaurants with outdoor seating and on a weekend especially it is buzzing. We stayed at the Xerion Hotel which is a short walk from the old town and is very nice with a restaurant and bar. Plus there is a small fridge in the room. I would definately recommend it.
I thought the guided tour at Auschwitz was very rushed and there was not enough time to take it all in It was however a very moving experience We enjoyed the tour at the Salt Mines but at the end the guide left us to find our own way back to the car park
Extremely well organised. Great value. Brilliant communication about what was going to happen. Would have liked to have known before the day about the possibility of a packed lunch
Very good tour with Sofia at Auschwitz and Dorothy at the salt mines. Our driver, Daniel, was excellent too. Very attentive and packed lunch well worth the 35zl. Long day but would recommend doing in one as the salt mines were a good cleanser following the harrowing stories at Auschwitz.
We highly recommend this tour from Krakow. Our driver promptly picked us up from our hotel and, during the ride to Auschwitz, played a video (difficult to watch but necessary) which gave us an overlay of what we were to experience during our tour. Once we arrived at Auschwitz, we were quickly put into our tour groups. Our tour guide (wish that we remembered his name) was nothing short of excellent. A difficult tour, to say the least, but he handled it throughly with compassion and knowledge. Once our tour of Auschwitz was finished, our driver gave us our bagged lunch and then off we went for a tour of Birkenau, with our same guide. I cannot say enough about our excellent guide. We then proceeded to the Salt Mine which is quite interesting and definitely worth the visit. Our driver met us after our tour and delivered us to our hotel.
We had an amazing experience with this company. Easy booking and refund process if needed. We got an email a few days before with information and then a WhatsApp message from our driver. Our driver was on time, really friendly, reliable and informative. Our tour guides were very well informed and approachable. We were particularly moved by the Auschwitz tour.
I loved what was included in this trip. The communication for the pick up was effective and it was beneficial having all the transport included. I would recommend choosing to have a packed lunch offered. There is a cafe in the salt mines but you would be here quite late in the day! Everything was well organised and I have recommended this trip to others.
This was a well organised tour, our driver was bang on time, jovial and friendly. There were 4 of us and he organised a lunch bag which was well worth the money and a lot cheaper than the food places at Auschwitz and Salt Mines. Day started at Aushwitz then on to Birkenau. The local guides there were very informative and conveyed exactly what went on at these horrific places. Shame a few people have to get their picture for the “gram” and posing like they are Poland’s next top model. The second part of the trip was the salt mines which were simply breath taking and the local guide there was really good with a very dry sense of humour. I would thoroughly recommend doing this tour.
Adam was very friendly and took great care of us when transferring us between tours. We would definitely use Adam again. The tours themselves were also very interesting. Auschwitz was very insightful and eye opening. While the salt mine was very beautiful.
Adam, thank you for amazing trip we had experienced with you. We get so much new information about history, we had so much pleasure going with you. Your crew is so friendly and professionally prepared. Highly recommended to visit Auschwitz, salt mine in Wieliczka, Zakopane and Tatras mountains, and other places as well. Adam keep going that way.
Outstanding trip not one to be missed, Thomas our driver was lovely a well organised trip would highly recommend it.
Can’t recommend highly enough. Guides are brilliant and the drivers to the tours are very friendly and informative
Was picked up directly from our hotel in a very nice vehicle, after two pick-ups we were driven directly to Auschwitz. Straight on the tour avoiding the queues whilst our driver waited for us. We were then driven to the Salt Mine and had time for lunch before embarking on another very good tour. Again our driver waited for us. Long emotive day but very good and highly recommended.
Must do tour when in Kraków. Great, friendly and informative tour guide. Pick up and drop off from outside apartment. Very friendly bus driver who gave excellent recommendations for places to eat on the way home.
very prompt service and would highly recomend this company. they did exactlly as they said in terms of pick up times and places. v,v,good
We did the Auschwitz Birkenau and Salt Mine Tour all in one day and although this is a long day it is well worth it and very reasonably priced. Our driver was Marco who had also collected us from the airport previously, was always polite, helpful and very informative. Marco picked us up from our accommodation promptly at the agreed time and drove us to Auschwitz where we joined an English speaking tour. After the tour we were driven onto Birkenau where we re-joined the tour with the same tour guide. In the afternoon we went onto the Salt Mines. I can not fault this very professional company and would highly recommend them. We were so happy with their service that we then booked our return transfer to the airport. Thank you for making our trip to Kraków so memorable.
Very poorly organized, guides both the bus and the very unfriendly visits Nothing empathetic I preferred a self-guide for this.
