From Krakow: Zakopane And Thermal Baths Experience

Gregory, our tour guide was awesome! He knew so much about Poland, Pope John Paul, Zakopane and its history. Gregory was prompt, funny and a delight to be around. We learned all about cheese from this area, how it is preserved and even had some of this tasty treat. The thermal baths were so relaxing and fun. The views of the mountains from the pools were a great treat. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Was great. The tour guide/ driver Gregory was very pleasant and informative with facts and history of not only where we when but all the locations we passed on the way. He was also very punctual with his arrival, the transport was very clean and modern with the air conditioning and available charging docks. The activities themselves were enjoyable, one of the more relaxing and unwinding experiences in zakopane.

We really enjoyed this trip! The views of the mountains are one of the most incredible things i’ve seen and you get plenty of time to explore the local towns. Our guide, Michal, was very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining, providing us with a great transfer to and from everything and a lot of good advice on where the best places to go were. He was incredibly helpful, making sure everyone was comfortable and even provided me with a portable charger when my phone ran out of battery! We got very lucky to have him as our house and hope we would have him again if we came back. It was a very reasonably priced trip and we would 100% book again!

Great experience visiting the country side! The town of Zacopane was bustling with activity — a joy to discover. The thermal baths were a welcome treat at the end of a cold day. And, of course, Michael was a fantastic guide full of amazing information and personality — we were fortunate to have him.

The trip was great, learned a lot about the area from the tour guide Oskar. He knew was he was talking about and was a very friendly gentleman. Would recommend.

Me and my mum went with Legendary Tours for the salt mine and Zakopane. For the salt mine we had the amazing Michal who hyped us and gave information without spoiling anything. For Zakopane we had Bon Jovi (although he kept calling himself Mayer) who guided us throughout the day and was full of local knowledge. We also used this company when we visited in 2023 and they are just as fantastic as ever

Wot a stunning day out !!! The views from Zakopane are spectacular from the top of the mountains, and to finish the day off at the pools was something else very relaxing and refreshing day and are guide oskar made it so easy and knowledgeable on are 2 hour drive there and back recommend him 1000000%

Matthew was our tour guide. He was amazing. Very safe and courteous driver and very knowledgeable about where we were going, what to do and also gave recommendations of places to go the rest of our holiday. Took us to an authentic vodka and cheese place rather than a commercial one

The tour I booked stated clearly that it includes a vodka tasting and cheese tasting but the tour went fully without any of that and feel a bit ripped off and taken advantage off, paying for something that ultimately wasn't included.

Great tour, got a feel for the culture and good food cheese and Polish spirit. Jacob aka Kuba was great and personable would definitely recommend.

From pick to drop this was one of the best experiences we have done. I must give full credit for the that to our host,Mateusz. From getting us to the ski lift before the buses arrived to general advice for our remaining stay in Krakow he was very helpful and a brilliant tour guide. He is a credit to the company! The tour itself is great, you get the experience of Zakopane and the mountains at your own pace and then an afternoon of relaxation in the thermal baths which I will definitely revisit. We are already planning our next trip to Zakopane and won't hesitate to use this tour operator again.

We had such a lovely day visiting Zakopane and then the thermal baths in the afternoon. Mateusz the driver was really good, he picked us up from our hotel and explained us everything about the tour and answered all of our questions about Zakopane and local products.

An incredible day trip with our host Mayer who was so friendly, made us feel very welcome in Poland and played great music on the drive! The village was so picturesque and the thermal baths so relaxing, I’d recommend to anyone!

Michel was an amazing tour guide was very friendly and a pleasant driver, gave us lots and lot of information out Poland and the culture, he talked us through the day out and exactly what we would be doing. Fantastic trip to Zakopane and Thermal Baths. The weather was snowy in Zakopane, however, the visibility wasn’t great so we didn’t get to see the fantastic views of the mountains but this didn’t spoil our trip as the whole place is so pretty. The thermal baths were fab, great swim up bar which was very reasonable. We hired towels for around £2 per towel. Our driver Piotr was excellent, picked us up promptly and kept us updated of his arrival. He was very friendly and a great tour guide. Would definitely recommend.

Piotr made the trip even better was a very nice tour guide easy to understand in English and learnt us lots about the area zakopane was one of the best places I have been in my life and the thermal baths topped off the best day you can have in Poland if anyone is booking I recommend to ask for Piotr

Michael drove us to the thermal baths but surprised us with his knowledge of krakow/poland and its history. My partner and I would highly recommend him. His story telling is truly captivating and his bright personality is infectious! I have told family and friends that when we're next krakow I want to have a tour of krakow with him. I hope this is something legendary krarkow considers. Thank you again Michael! You were incredible and we hope to see you again.

Everything was exactly as described. Our driver Michael was extremely clear and friendly, and the thermal baths are definitely worth seeing. Everything is sorted for you so there is no need to queue in any way when you get there which is great. We went on a Sunday evening, the drive was less than 2 hours each way, and the pools were not overly busy so would recommend booking as off peak as you can!

We had a great time at the thermal baths! Our driver, Michael, was fantastic - he was really friendly and answered our questions about Poland. It was really easy, we met at the pickup point and then we were driven to the thermal baths where Michael got us our wristbands and explained the layout of the thermal baths. We then had 3 hours to explore the different pools which was fun and relaxing. Michael then drove us back to Krakow, we had a great time and highly recommend!

Me and my boyfriend went to thermal baths with Michal, the best tour guide. Michal was so kind, chatty and friendly.. we were so nervous because we booked this trip the night before departure as we thought there would be loads of availability but when booking we found out it was very booked out, when booking we realized spaces were very limited so the next day awaiting departure from our hotel Michal arrived very prompltly very assuring and very trustworthy we arrived at our destination very efficiently. We really had the best time with Michal he chatted to us consistently on our 2 hour journey and really educated us upon arrival at the thermal baths which were we had such a great experience I would really recommend Michal for future reference this is my second time visiting krakow and when I visit the third time I would happily choose Michal to guide me further :)

Kamil was brilliant. He was very patient with my tipsy sons who had spent as much time at the bar drinking beer as I had spent in the Thermal baths relaxing 😃😃. Would definitely recommend this trip & Kamil.

Transfer was everything you would like, we had the best transfer guy called Michal he was very informative and funny, a pleasure to have him as a driver for us there and back. The thermal bath experience was amazing, such a laugh and fun for all ages. Definitely recommend the transfer company with Michal and the thermal bath experience :) 10/10

We went to thermal spa zacopane. Michael I guide was fabulous . He was very knowledgable on the bus journey and we felt safe on the long ride . He explained what to do at the spa and was brilliant throughout. We had a great time on way home wit music and toilet stops etc as we needed. Highly recommend

Brilliant day, started off with a coffee stop, then we stopped off in Chocohok a quaint beautiful town with wooden houses, church we then followed with a stop tasting local smoked cheese - beautiful surroundings. Our final stop was Zakopane where we explored for a few hours, views were incredible, lots to do for all the family at the top of the mountain including a mini zoo and slide! We really enjoyed the whole day in Zakopane (We didn’t do the thermal paths we opted for a shorter trip of 8 hours as we were only interested in the mountains but couldn’t find it on here!) Our guide was amazing, full of information, told us about the sleeping knight, the stalks who travel from Africa and nest pointing these out. Chatted away - Piotr was great, got involved in the tour made the trip, also very safe driver even on busy roads!

The baths were so relaxing after a day exploring Krakow. They're suitable for everyone from kids to couples. Our driver Kamil was top class so friendly, an absolute gent

Having experienced some incredible thermal pools back home in New Zealand, I was curious to see how the Zakopane Thermal Pools would measure up. While I would describe them more as heated pools rather than true thermal pools, the experience was still enjoyable. One of the highlights of Zakopane Thermal Pools is the sheer variety of pools and saunas on offer. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking to relax in warm waters or enjoy a refreshing dip in a cooler pool. The saunas were a nice touch, providing an opportunity to unwind and detox after a day of exploring. Although the thermal aspect didn’t quite match up to what I’m used to in New Zealand, the facilities were well-maintained, and the overall experience was pleasant. The pools are definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for a relaxing day out in the Zakopane area. A special mention goes to my guide, who was absolutely lovely. She was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, while Zakopane's pools may not be on par with the natural hot springs back home, they still offer a worthwhile and relaxing experience.

Michał was our driver and guide for this all day excursion! He was absolutely phenomenal! His attentiveness and knowledge made this day truly memorable. We saw and learned so much. Highly HIGHLY recommend!!

Piotr was our tourguide for the whole trip and it was very pleasant! He spoke English very well and gave us does and font’s along the way. Chocholowski thermal baths was a bit too crowded for us (better to go very early) and also Zakopano was full of people. I would definitely recommend Zakopane for a half a day getaway!

Me and 5 of my friends travelled from Krakow to the thermal baths. Our driver Micheal was absolutely brilliant. He was friendly, and told us so much about the history of Poland through-out our journey, including the villages and thermal baths. He made us feel very welcome to the country and I couldn’t have asked for a better service. The thermal baths themselves are cheap and very enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone to visit this place!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience. Michael our driver was so careful and caring towards any needs. As our drive was 2+ hours he offered to stop at several service stations with no issue and informed us of local history and how long was left of our journey. He was also very informative of telling us where to go at the thermal baths and where to get drinks/ food. We would highly recommend this service.
