From Krakow: Zakopane, Tatra Mountains & Gubałówka Day Trip

We had a brilliant time on this trip. Very well organised, nice small group of 7 people, our guide Lukas was enthusiastic and had lots of interesting info about each of the stops, plenty of free time in Zakopane, enough for time at the top of the funicular and grabbing a hot chocolate and then going back into Zakopane and exploring and having lunch. ✨

We had an amazing day and our guide Krystian C was brilliant from start to finish. He was knowledgeable and he was also very friendly and fun. The sights were amazing and the cheese and vodka tasting were great. We had such a lovely day and learnt lots of things about the different areas, the houses, churches and the locals. This excursion with Poland is Beautiful was one of the best parts of our trip! There were four people total on the tour, our guide was knowledgeable, and there was so much to see. We were debating doing this on our own and I'm so glad we didn't as we would never have gotten the full experience like this. Pick-ups and dropoffs were also very clear. Thank you for a great time!

Myself and partner did this trip with poland is beautiful cracow tours on sat 26th september for my 40th birthday. Couldnt have asked for a better day - communication was brilliant before and during the day. Our guide Dawid was lovely - explained everything, friendly, funny, approachable- we didnt feel rushed at any point during the day. Will def book with this company again when we return- couldnt fault them.

A brilliant day in Zakopane We had a lovely day from start to finish. Kuba was a fantastic guide—friendly, helpful and full of useful information. Everything was very well organised, and we really enjoyed the cheese and vodka tasting and the beautiful views of the Tatra Mountains from Gubałówka. A great experience that we would happily recommend, and we would definitely come back!

I visited Zakopane last year but I couldn't resist to revisit it this year, as I travelled to Krakow for my holidays. Amazing view, so beautiful and picturesque atmosphere. Our guide Dawid was great, funny and explained everything so good. I highly recommend the trip guys, everything was absolutely worthy. Poland is so beautiful, I hope I can visit other cities there too🤍❤️

We went on this trip with Poland is beautiful tours at the end of August, collected on time from our hotel by Dawid. Comfortable mini van and it was an enjoyable day at a price lower than some other operators for what appeared to be the same itinerary that many companies offer. Be aware that Zakopane and Gubalowka at the top of the funicular can be very busy at peak times.

The trip went exactly as described. The pickup was perfectly on time and at the exact location we requested. Our driver was incredibly polite and friendly. The vehicle was comfortable and clean. The explanations in English were perfect, and the driver made sure we understood everything. The stops were well-chosen, and the cheese and drink tasting was presented with great courtesy. They checked in on us throughout the trip to see if we needed anything. The instructions and information upon arrival in Zakopane were perfect. Recommendations for places to eat sent via WhatsApp, as well as advice and details regarding the funicular, were spot-on. The scheduled pickup time was met with total punctuality; the service was excellent, and the driver was very friendly. We were dropped off at the same location where we were picked up. Highly recommended: perfect timing, friendly and polite service, excellent explanations, and constant care for the travelers. We would definitely do it again!

A lovely day out - we were collected from our apartment at the time stated and the communication was excellent. It was a lovely drive in the air-conditioning as it was over 30 degrees when we visited. We had a stop for cherry vodka and cheese which was very enjoyable before continuing on to Zakopane. The views from the mountains were incredible and we enjoyed the ride on the funicular even though it was very crowded. Our guide was very knowledgable and friendly. We would definitely recommend this trip.

Yes you can do this trip independently but getting picked up at the hotel, getting your driver / guides knowledge throughout the day. Showing all the little quirky things on route. Tickets for railway all sorted. Matthew was brilliant and looked after us perfectly all day… thank you Matthew. All we had to do was enjoy our day. Matthew sorted everything else out for us. 100% recommended and so worth money paid.

Our guide Tomasz was friendly and very knowledgeable. The trip itself includes so much to make it a delightful day for a family. I had my 7 & 11 year old children with me. I had planned several activities during the 3 hours in the city and we had plenty to do and see there. Again, about our guide, Tomasz, he went out of his way to be helpful and I appreciated the great communication, punctuality and area recommendations he offered. We had a wonderful trip with “Poland is beautiful” tour and our guide. Memorable and informative. Very comfortable, safe ride and plenty to see and do!

I had debated taking the trip to Zakopane and I’m so glad we decided to. You know it’s gonna be a great start when they pick you up right at your Airbnb. It rained a little on our way there but as soon as we got to Zakopane, the rain stopped and the clouds cleared. What a delightful area and so beautiful. And one is never at a loss for cheese there lol. Our guide Dawid was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this provider and would use again.

Booked this for our last day in Krakow..and it turned out to be the best thing we did! Dawid picked us up from hotel and we were taken to the stunning Zakopane. Via a small Polish village where we ate some amazing grilled cheese. Went up the mountain in a funicular (tickets were included) the views at the top were unreal, loads of places to get a drink, ice cream, chill or look around the various stalls. We had 3 hours here. Tbh we could have stayed all day it was that good. Dawid then took us to a small wooden church to take a few photos. Which was beautiful.. also showed us the Zakopane ski jump. He then took us back to hotel in krakow which was about an hour and half away. Fantastic value for money, and dawid was such a good host Highly recommended if your staying in Krakow

This was a family trip with my wife and my father who is in his 80s from the moment we were collected at our apartment our Driver/ Guide, Oskar, everything went perfectly. Oskar was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had the most enjoyable and fun day. This is an all day experience with plenty of stops at interesting places along the way and some beautiful scenery. Our trip could not have been better and a very big thank you to Oskar who made us feel like friends instead of customers.

Good trip - some parts a bit rushed, like the wooden huts and the cheese/vodka tasting. Good venicular ride/car up the mountains from Zakapane giving about 3 free hours to see the Patra Mountains, Zakapane and the shopping streets. Overall about 7 - 8 hours. Good driver - just the two of us escorted by car.

We had a great day visiting Zakopane. Our driver Dawid picked us up in a very comfortable vehicle and drove to all the spots you want to see. I chose this company as it said it was a small group tour and it did not disappoint. There was less messing around picking others up or waiting for people to return so everything was much more streamline than other tours I've been on. The cheese was great, the vodka was great and the scenery was beautiful. I fully recommend.

Amazing trip out of Krakow! Great communication with the operator and had the best guide Szymon for the tour! Szymon was simply amazing host for the group and he had the best hospitality on display! He was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. The sunny spring weather made it a perfect day visit to the mountains. A must do trip for one visiting Krakow! A great trip indeed!

Excellent trip to Zakopane with our guide Lukasz. Stopped at the lovely village Chocholow and then sampled the delicious local cheese and vodka. We then carried on our trip to Zakopane where we enjoyed 3 hours of free time to enjoy the fantastic views of The Tatra mountains. Good communication from the operator and guide.
