Our trip to Zakopane was truly memorable despite the rainy weather. Our tour guide made sure we got to explore many beautiful places, and surprisingly, the rain made the town feel even cozier and more charming. We really appreciated our guide’s effort in making the most of the day. Definitely worth the long drive and highly recommended!

Lovely journey especially the little wooden houses on the way. Enjoyed sopping for smoked cheese and cherry vodka.
The weather was not the best but this did not stop the day being amazing. Pick up directly from the hotel. Kriss was such a lovely enthusiastic tour guide and nothing was too much trouble for him. The pace was relaxed. The views was outstanding.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC Our tour guide Kristian was an absolute joy...he was fun but very knowledgeable took us to places we would never have found 100% recommend Lisa and John
This was a brilliant tour, our guide Kriss was very informative and friendly, there were only 6 in our group so it was even better. We had several stops on the way to Zacapone which were all interesting and Zacapone itself is well worth the visit alot larger than we thought.I would definitely recommend this tour to see other parts of Poland other than Krakow.
Paul was great and I really enjoyed myself. Sometimes these tours tend to drag on or have too much time in one place but this tour was perfect. Pick up was very easy too. Highly recommend!
We had the most amazing time, our guide & driving (Lukas) was very knowledgeable and made our day that much more special. Thank you Lukas.
What an amazing trip, made so interesting by the tour guide Kriss! He was knowledgeable, entertaining and professional, going the extra mile to help. The trip was a wonderful insight into life outside of the city, with stunning views. Every step was perfectly timed by Kriss, making it a packed but relaxed day. I would definitely recommend, especially if with this tour guide and driver!
Intermediate stops were fun & interesting. The 3 hours at Zapokane was just right. Many different restaurants and an enjoyable tram ride.
Lovely day out and very well organised. Friendly tour guide. Sent us best places to eat and attractions while in Zakopane
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip to Zakopane and the Tetra Mountains. Our guide Dawid was the best and even took us over the border into Slovakia. We enjoyed cheese smoked in a real fire with vodka. Several hours free time in Zakopane. Time to explore the wooden house village and the amazing church on the edge of the forest. The other people on our trip were lovely too and we all chatted and enjoyed our day together. I would highly recommend this trip and Viator .
A lovely day up in the mountains, spectacular views of the Tetra Mountains. Lots of little stops as well as the main one in Zacopane so lots of photo opportunities throughout. Kornel our driver was lovely and was happy to answer any questions as well as giving us information at each stop. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great day visiting Zakopane. Our driver Dawid picked us up in a very comfortable vehicle and drove to all the spots you want to see. I chose this company as it said it was a small group tour and it did not disappoint. There was less messing around picking others up or waiting for people to return so everything was much more streamline than other tours I've been on. The cheese was great, the vodka was great and the scenery was beautiful. I fully recommend.
Fantastic day! Dawid took us to see the oldest wooden houses in the area, cooked us Oscypek cheese on a fire, served with cranberry sauce and a cheeky vodka shot to wash it down. Next onto zakopane mountains where Dawid was very knowledgeable and so helpful. Finished the day off going to a 200 year old wooden church which was stunning. A wonderful day and very good value for money. I would highly recommend.
Dawid our tour operator was nice and efficient. Communication was perfect as well as guidance and trip. Thankyou
Good trip, was a bonus to have really good weather. Nice to experience the polish cheese and see the wooden homes. The mountains were a sight to see, enjoyed it. Lots of stalls at Zakopane, might not be everyone’s choice.
Amazing day, Lucks our guide was very helpful and informative. Picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Amazing day
Travelled from Krakow on Sat 31st. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and the scenery on the way to Zakopane was stunning and postcard-pretty. The one downer was the power cut that shut down the funicular just as I was at the head of the queue! Most of our group didn't get to go up, and the one's who did had to be rescued. Obviously not our tour guide's fault, and the whole town was without power for a period, but that should have been the highlight of the outing.
This was a fantastic tour to the beautiful town of Zakopane. The guide was very engaging and helpful, the town was beautiful with the added bonus of visiting the wooden chapel. I would highly recommend this tour.
Absolutely amazing experience, we had Dawid and he was absolutely amazing. He told us all about the different history of Zakopane and the different mountains. Truly a bucket list moment, when we next come to Krakow, I'll definitely be booking again with these.
Zakopane was beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Our tour guide was lovely but didn’t give us much information at all about the area etc.
Very disappointed with Zakopane itself - reason the whole place is full of stalls selling tat like fridge magnets and girlie wrist beads. The tour started well and pickup on time. Unfortunatly our driver/guide (Staszek) struggled with his English. Only 15mins stop in Gogolowka (the most beautiful wooden housed village) with little info from guide. In Zakopand we were led to the centre of the main carpark and told "to the right is the High Street and to the left is the funicular railway and your tickets for the railway I just posted on your phone - you have 3hrs, will see you back here". That was it - no info nothing. The High street was full of stalls selling tat and cheeses. At the top of the funicular (Gubalowka) was the sme - stall after stall selling tat. Although the view from up there was very nice. During the walkabout I only saw 2 ladies and 1 man dressed in the local attire we were told and expected to see. On the journey home we stopped at a little church hidden in a forest clearing which was beautiful and quaint. So generally a very disappointing day not made better by a poor guide.
The whole day was full of different sights, tastes and experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Tatra mountains and Zakopane are spectacular, with wonderful views. Our driver and guide - Lucas - was delightful and most customer-friendly. He made our day.
Had a great trip to Zakopane. Tom was a was good guide who provided various facts about Zakopane and Poland in general. I also received recommendations for where to eat which was very good (Karczma Zapiecek on the Main Street).
We had a great experience of Zakopane and Tom provided excellent background information of the region and Polish history. Tom came with great sense of humour which made the journey plesant.
We had a great day trip to Zakopane! Had time up the mountain seeing the views and also down in the village, and stopped at attractions on the way home. Tom was a great guide, creating a fun atmosphere and providing a lot of background information. He took us to the places at the quieter times and gave clear instructions for timing and activities. I would recommend!
Excellent day out with fantastic sights at Zakopone, well worth the travelling from Krakow. Our guide Tom was very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible with the itinerary which worked well.
Wonderful day trip to the mountains, with amazing views of the mountains and the country side, Cheese tasting as well as vodka tasting stop on the way . the tour guide NIKO was great , friendly and very knowledgeable on the area . we had a great day out would highly recommend this tour, a great day out
Very nice experience, the places visited are really beautiful. The route is well divided so as not to be too long. Tom was a careful and engaging guide. Thanks
Excellent trip! Thank you for a wonderful day. We enjoyed the trip with a small group very comfortable and unique places
Great way to combine many sites into one day if you’re limited on time. Wish I could have spent more time at Zakopane, so I guess I’ll just have to come back. The cheese tasting wasn’t for me, but gave it a go and was interesting to learn about. Dawid our driver was lovely. Fully recommend!
My partner and I had a fantastic time on the Zakopane tour. The experience started right on time and lasted the perfect amount of hours. Our guide, Stanislaw, was incredibly dynamic and shared a wealth of fascinating historical insights throughout the journey. The tour covered many beautiful spots around Zakopane, each more picturesque than the last. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! Florencia
It takes around 2 hours to get to your destination going was full of little stops and experiences. Our driver Piotr was full of knowledge and was very chatty. We were a mixed group from lots of different countries but all felt at ease with each other. Love the what’s ap information for tickets etc and a way to keep in touch if we experienced any issue. A long day fabulous value for money
Stanislaw was a fantastic guide, he went above and beyond for us, I would highly recommend. The views are amazing from the top
While the sights we saw on this tour were enjoyable, we were very disappointed with our ‘guide’ Lukasz. He was totally disinterested in his passengers and barely spoke to us at all and acted more like a taxi driver than a tour guide. He only imparted the most basic information at each place and seemed keen to send us off on our own and be left alone. On the return drive, he spent the entire time on personal phone calls, often driving with only one hand!! With a more enthusiastic and friendly guide this tour would have been much more enjoyable
Lovely day out. Roughly 2 hours outside Krakow, visit a beautiful old church, then have cheese tasting with wonderful cranberry jam and cherry vodka. Onto the mountains, up the funicular railway to where there are lots of food and market stalls. Back down to Zakopane, a lively square with more stalls on the way and loads of places to eat.
Ivan was such a fun guide! Mixing modern understanding with history we were given a great mix of communication while having a laugh along the way. Ivan made the process of picking us up and dropping us back to our accommodation so smooth. Zakopane was a beautiful location and we highly recommend visiting.
Driver was absolutely brilliant 👏 will definitely use company again...very knowledgeable and very friendly...plenty of stops and local knowledge of areas visited and history...couldn't do enough for us..really helped
Everything went well from start to finish. We got picked up from the hotel and Petir introduced himself and told us we had a couple of pick ups on the way. We met a nice set of people to share the day with. As we went through the day Petir was very informative and interesting. At one point I'd left my hat in the toilet and he was going to stop off on the way back. We were at Zakopane for 3 hours and when we got back to the bus he presented me with my hat!!! He'd gone back and got it for me and I was over the moon!! Lovely trip made extra special with Petir who went above and beyond!!!Well worth doing!!!
A totally superb day. Our driver Dawid was great.and we couldn't have enjoyed our day more. Dawid gave us all the information we needed to make sure we got the most from our day
Great way to spend the day! Luka, our driver, was exceptional. He took us to several places on the way (to tour a village of old wooden mountain homes, to sample smoked cheese with flavored vodka, a historic wooden church, and to see the sky jumps) before arriving at Zakopane. Drive back was 2-hours. We had a fun time!
We enjoyed our day tour out to the snowy Zakopane. The tour to Zakopane is via a 9 seater van. Tomas was able to answer many questions about Krakow and Zakopane, as well as other questions. There were several Interesting sites we were taken to before reaching Zakopane main street and the gondola up the mountain. Although the day was cloudy and snowy, it was still a great time. Tomas is also a great chef at cheese grilling!
Excellent, well organised trip to Zacopane going via Chocolowskie where there are wooden houses plus visited a shepherd's hut where we tried smoked cheese & local vodka, very nice. We had 3 hours in Zacopane , travelled the 'cable car' to see gorgeous views of Tatra mountains & have lunch. Also shop at local markets. ✨️ Would definitely recommend & definitely book again with Poland is Beautiful ✨️
Small tour meant our guide Lukas could answer everyone’s questions. Great being picked up and dropped off from accommodation.
Great day out to see a different side of Poland, lovely views over the mountains, great photo opportunity.
Not only did the trip deliver everything promised but we had lots of good conversations during the drive and David added a short side trip we requested as a bonus. It was a good day!
As a solo traveller, I was nervous about making the trip to Zakopane alone. Thankfully the trip was a lovely experience and I felt comfortable and at ease the whole time. Kris was so lovely and really knew his stuff about the history of the area. Out of the whole experience, visiting the top of the mountain was my favourite. I also loved seeing the old churches. Thank you so much Kris for a great time :)
The drive up helped us see Poland outside a city. We both liked the stops along the way where David put guide told us more about the history of the region. Sat for quite awhile at the top of the funicular enjoying the 360 degree view. The tour company(Poland is Beautiful) was top notch and made good on all that was promised especially time of pick up, and hotel pick up, covering all the itinerary etc. our driver, David, was excellent. Don’t expect Zakopane to be a shopping Mecca - think hordes of same trinkets found throughout Krakow.
We pre-booked this tour before we left home, as it was one of the places we wanted to see in Poland. We were picked up on time at our hotel. After around an hour our courier Max, gave us a comfort stop at a small service station. From there we made our way to Chocholow to see the wooden houses built without nails. It was very interesting. Our next stop was at a highlander's house to taste local cheese and sample some Polish vodka. After that we made our way to the Ski Jump at Zakopane. Unfortunately when we arrived it was misty, but the mist cleared so we could see the top of the ski jump. From there we were taken to a Wooden Chapel surrounded by trees. We then went onto Zakopane and the Gubalowka funicular which was included in the tour. We had a walk round and then had a stop for some refreshments. We had waffles which were very good. Then we got the funicular back to the bottom and had a walk around the main street. There were so many souvenir and other shops to see it was difficult to know where to go. After all the rain, the sun finally came out and showed Zakopane in completely different light. The trip back to Krakow was uneventful but it was interesting to see the scenery, then got dropped off at our hotel. It was a very interesting trip. Thank you Max and your driver on 10th June.
Fun tour. Thank you. We liked it. It was fun. Different scenery from the cities. Please continue to offer this tour.
