Częstochowa Black Madonna And Lagiewniki Tour From Krakow

excellent tour guide. most of the tour was self paced but guide set up each stop with details of each visit

We had a woo pool derail time seeing the black Madonna and visiting Jasna Gora Monastery. Also in visiting the shrine of Divine Mercy. They are both incredibly important sites and we are thrilled to have been able to see them. Our guide, Dawid, was friendly and helpful and professional at all times. If I did another tour here, I would want to request him by name.

The driver was excellent. Pick up at the hotel on time. To view the Black Madonna and attend Mass was a heavenly gift.

Dawid is fantastic all around! Great and thoughtful driver (safe, charging phones, need drinks, facilities); once we were at Jasna Gora, Dawid lead us through the church, waited as we paused for prayers and pictures of the Madonna, took us up to a balcony for a viewing of frescoes and the Stations of the Cross. He also related the backgrounds in the paintings (Auschwitz prisoners, important figures). He guided us through several museums, made time for souvenir shopping, ending with a safe and lovely drive back to our destination. Booking with Dawid is a must!

Dawid is an excellent guide and driver— kind and considerate. The van is clean and most comfortable. We had plenty of time to see Jana Gora, the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, The Shrine of Divine Mercy (so beautiful!), and as a bonus the neighboring Sanctuary of St John Paul II the Great. We highly recommend this trip with Poland is Beautiful.

We came here together to see Jasna Gora Monastery and surroundings on Friday 21st May and came by train from Krakow. There are no indicators on how to.get there so a little time was wssted trying to find out as train station is being upgraded so diversions everwhere! We found a bus stop for Bus 31 and went to Jasna Gora stop and disembarked and walked to arch before entering main area. Visited Basillica and took photos of main alter and side ones too before venturing outside and visiting gardens and viewing statues. Came here originally in 1971 on way to Katowice with parents so was quite rushed. After lunch we went back to train station which sadly lacks toilets on any platforms nor places where you can get drinks especially on warm days . Be prepared!

You get to see so much of the beautiful landscapes and forests along the way to these amazing religious sites. We had the opportunity to attend Mass and receive holy communion at the Black Madonna Church. At the Chapel of Divine Mercy, we had the opportunity to go to confession! We will never forget this awesome religious experience. Our driver gave us all the time we needed at both places and was extremely helpful to us with suggestions and supplying maps for us. Well worth the cost-a chance of a lifetime!

The Black Madonna is a beautiful religious icon tobe seen if you are religious or not. It is about a 2 hr ride from Krakow. Dawid our guide was awesome. He showed us the best way to see the icon. A great day thanks!!!

Travelers need to familiarize themselves with Czestochowa beforehand, since the on-site brochures are not thorough and the guide did not give enough helpful information beforehand.

Dawid was our driver/tour guide. He was an excellent driver and provided water for the ride which was considerate. He toured us through Czestohowa because without him we may have missed the stations of the cross around the Monastery and a few other sights. He was extremely knowledgeable about this sight.

The private tour was truly an inspiring and spiritually enhancing experience. It was truly worth it for devotees of the Black Madonna and Divine Mercy and for all the Catholics as well. We had a wonderful day in this pilgrimage tour with help of Thomas our driver. Thomas was very patient and knowledgeable, he gave us clear instructions on where and what to see (highlights) which helped us get around the churches we visited easier. Thomas gave us a chance to explore on our own and we did not feel rushed at all. We were able to attend mass at the shrine of Black Madonna and at the Divine Mercy Shrine. He also took to us to Center of Pope John Paul II Pontificate as a side trip. Also gave recommendation on where to eat traditional Polish food and we had a wonderful dinner at that restaurant he suggested which was very close to our hotel, I highly recommend this tour

Tomasz from “Poland is beautiful” confirmed the pickup time the night before and he showed up on time the next day. He explained about the tour and what to expect before we left At the first stop, we arrived when the service started . He told me to wait and join the service as the Black Madonna is veilled after the mass . I was glad I did , it was a beautiful mass . I also had a change to try local food nearby on his recommendation . On the way to the chapel of Devine Mercy, he included the John Paul İİ centre . He gave plenty of time for me to explore both sites , I was so happy to join this tour , I would highly recommend it.

Tomek offers an incredible tour at a GREAT value! He picked me up directly from my hotel, and got me to the Jasna Gora monastery just before the image the Black Madonna was veiled until later in the afternoon; it would have been a huge disappointment to miss seeing this image. Tomek gladly included the John Paul II Centre along w/ my tour of the Chapel of Divine Mercy. No hidden charges, and his willingness to allow me time at each site, was greatly appreciated. Understand, that this is not a tour but it is an informed and delightful drive to these amazing destinations!!

The tour driver, Tomasz Borkowski, was on time, offering options to stop to grab a drink or use the restrooms, and more importantly, tweaked my itinerary so that I could visit the Shrine of St. John Paul, which is next to Divine Mercy Shrine. Totally recommended!

Well thought out tour! The second stop at the Łagiewniki Sanctuary is a wonderful addition. Tomasz is very professional, personable and definitely a great driver. He knows the area very well and is able to answer most questions about Krakow and most of the nearby attractions. Also, this is the only tour company I found that doesn’t require multiples of 2 travelers!!! So if you are a solo traveler, you are paying a single price, not double. I had a great time and I would highly recommend his services. Thank you Tomasz!
