We were taken to a big wooden chalet type building where we were greeted with cherry vodka and shown to our table, which we shared with others doing the tour. Musicians, singers and dancers performed typical Polish folk music. It was a pleasure to watch and listen to. We were then served a three course dinner consisting of traditional Polish food. We started with Zurek, a soup followed by fried potatoes, breaded chicken and pickled cabbage. There was a choice of desserts including apple pie and ice cream. There was also a buffet table with various choices of filled dumplings and an assortment of finger food, sweet and savoury.Beer wine and apple compote and soft drinks were included in the price. The musicians did three separate turns and during the last one we were invited to join in the dancing. It was a fun evening and we enjoyed it very much.

Unlimited beer and wine tasted like flavored water. Program was ok. Food was good.
This was so much fun. The dancing, singing and playing were all wonderful. And this who wanted to participated were able to which just added to the fun. The was good but go for the show. Totally worth it. What a great night out.
We first were greeted by a girl standing outside the bus in a sports bra, didnt feel like that was very professional. Once there we were hoarded in quiclly as we were the last group to arrive, seats were sparse and everyone ended up at different tables. The establishment was very very hot, not enough water glasses or jugs of water. Our table had about 30 people at it all of the cutlery and napkins were at the opposite end of table. The bread and spread on the table was not enough for the amount of seat there. We sat with our plates for 15 mins until we were able to ask for cutlery. 80% of the seats you could not see the dancers. They performed 3 dances ant the tour bus had us meet on the his before the last dance was done... also annoying the 50 people getting up and leaving during the dance. It was a 3 course meal one served every hour, they never told us a dessert and charcuterie buffet had opened or another buffet where the perogi and Sausages and other dishes was open or where it was. Id say 90% of the people had no idea they were even there. I was fairly disappointed when I saw the unlimited drinks that included pop in the advertisement as I don't drink alcohol. To find out no pop was free was grapefruit apple and orange juice that was free. We also had to visit the bar for water refill. The amount of money we paid for this very underwhelming experiencewas disappointing. Save your money, your time do something different.
We had a great time talking to other couples and watching the traditional dances. The food is not the best Polish food we had but it was good. If you are looking for a fun night out in Krakow, book this tour.
We had a great time at this event. It was fun to speak with other couples and see the traditional dances. The food wasn't the best Polish food we had but it was good. I would definitely recommend it and do it again.
The food and show are fabulous! All of the staff were kind, warm and so accommodating. It truly was an evening to display the beauty and happiness of the Polish culture. After the show ends get to your hotel yourself. Unless you want to be stranded at a bus stop at 10PM possibly in inclement weather, I suggest getting yourself to the restaurant, only 20 minutes away. The taxi fare is $27 and includes tip.
Had a great time here but not because of the great show nor necessarily for the fine meal that was served, but we were seated at a table with ladies from Netherlands, Belgium, a couple from USA, and another couple from Wales and Eire. The evening flew by as we all engaged in conversation with each other. Of course the flow of wine helped but so nice to chat to strangers from all over the world.
Well worth the money. Great time had by all. Food and entertainment was really good. The Trip is very well organised.
Organiser has communicated well and everything went smoothly. The show was good and they would encourage you to join in the show. Food was a 3 course meal and it was edible. The highlight is the effort made by the dancers to make the evening memorable.
Very joyfull experience, everything very coordinated. Good polish food, god service and intertaiment. Lots of happy people who took part in the show.
The worst meal of our 7 day visit. When booking, you are not told that the show is actually not in Krakow. We had to take a taxi to a remote meeting spot where a huge bus waited for us and drove us 35 minutes outside of the city. There, about 6 other huge busses filled the tiny parking lot. We were ushered in to a pretty restaurant.... and then told to go sit upstairs, tucked into a dark corner by a child's play area. All English speaking people were put up there, away from the downstairs birght area, main floor, and action. Horrible location. No one told us what food we are eating and we received overcooked kapusta, a mediocre cutlet, and some soup with overcooked kielbasa. Krakow is a food mecca! Eat somewhere else. I was so embarrassed in front of my guests! If you are here for the show you will be so disappointed. We were sat with our backs to the tiny dance corner, where the singers came upstairs foe TWO songs and then left! Absolutely not ok. No interaction, no real dancing, just hundreds of people crammed into the most touristy experience ever. So disappointed. We left in a taxi.
This is fantastic great food great atmosphere and lovely people. Definitely worthwhile going you won't be disappointed. I guarantee it.
Great evening, good fun for all ages. Dress up, dress down it doesn't matter. Lovely welcome, live music and dancing. Go, you'll enjoy yourself!
This was such a fun experience. The atmosphere, food, and entertainment were wonderful. The amount of food they give is a lot. You definitely won't leave hungry.
Fantastic night great music, dancers were amazing, food gorgeous plenty drinks just wish it was longer.
Highly Recommended - what an excellent night! The dancing was very good, the atmosphere was terrific, the Polish food was good, you could also help yourself to as much snacks as you wanted, also the drinks were good too. Lovely Polish style cottage, well organised.
What a fantastic event for the whole family! Honestly, everything was great. We have two kids, 15 and 12, and they loved it all. From the bus ride to the food and from the folk music to the dancing (yes, there’s a lot of dancing and it’s interactive so be ready to dance), the entire thing was a blast. Note: the bus is located across the street and railway tracks from the lingerie shop/GPS meeting point.
Everyone visiting Krakow should go here as it will be one of the best nights whilst there. Brilliant staff and fantastic band/group. Welcome drink, free flowing wine/beer and soft drinks. 3 course meal then typical Polish buffet. Fantastic evening.
It was a wonderful experience, local food unlimited drinks and good entertainment the place was amazing got to meet other people dancing I would recommend it ,transfer was good everyone had great time
I had a great time, fun and entertaining. The food was great and atmosphere was wonderful. I enjoyed the experience. When the dancers ask you to dance don’t say no, get up and enjoy.
It was fun. Pick up and drop was convenient. I am not too happy with the food. Being a vegetarian the choice were not enough. Else to that everything was great. Nice ambience, music and dance… You should visit if schedule permits
Found this to be the perfect ending to our day. At the pick up point 2 coaches were laid on for everyone and should have left at 7.30 unfortunately a lot of people were late, their coach then went on its way leaving us to wait a further 15 mins for more late arrivals so it was a bad start. Once seated at the venue the mood picked up, the food was served super quick, we had rye, potato and sausage soup which was really tasty, schnitzel, sauerkraut and potato wedges, for dessert we had apple pie with cream and ice cream. There was unlimited wine and larger and soft drink. The cold buffet had a good selection of food too. Polish dancers got people up to dance but you weren't forced. It was good fun plus we had a great time with the people on our table as did all on the other tables. The event was about 2 hours and a further hour return trip. Would recommend.
This exceeded our expectations and is well worth booking! We had great hosts in a lovely coach where we were driven the short 20 minute drive to a really lovely traditional restaurant. The meal, unlimited food and drink buffets and meal were all very good and the inclusive entertainment something we won't forget!
Wonderful food and entertainment. The unlimited beer and wine was convenient. Outstanding Polish dishes. So easy to do!
I would recommend to anyone touring Krakow. Easy to find, people from driver, guide and folks at the event were outstanding. Well worth the money and the value was amazing. Very colorful and photogenic. Only recommendation would be just a little additional room to move around and not feel so confined. Great job.
Beautiful location, lovely friendly staff and guide, the folk troupe, just wow. Gorgeous outfits and show. The food was delicious, we had some picky eaters with us and they all managed to leave full! The location for the evening was perfect, we didn't want to leave. Definitely worth going too.
The best evening it was the last night of are holiday and what a brilliant way for it to end the staff were fantastic and the dancers excellent recommended to all
Fabulous show with lovely food and drink. Bus pick up in Krakow and drop back off again. Definitely recommend
Great night with dancing and food, food was yummy.well worth the money to see traditional dancing and costumes and here some songs ,highly recomend
After reading mixed reviews was a little nervous having booked on behalf of our friends as well. I suffer from multiple food allergies and had emailed Viator ahead of time to ask them to provide food appropriate to me. I was told that they had no control over what was served so I was prepared not to eat. However, on arrival at the double decker the agent asked if there were any food allergies and on arrival a young woman came and placed a piece of paper on my table listing my allergens. Surprisingly a beautiful large salad arrived complete with roasted sunflower seeds, followed by a large portion of very tasty vegetable rice and later a fresh raspberry sorbet..perfect. The rest of our party were served a polish mushroom soup, breaded chicken breast with fried potatoes and sauerkraut. A large piece of apple crumble pie and ice cream to follow. They could also go to the buffet for polish cheeses, meats and coffee with polish biscuits. The staff were quick and efficient. Cherry vodka was served to start then you could go to the bar and collect wine or beer as often as you wished. The log cabin was beautiful warm cosy and decorated with lights and wreaths. The dancers were excellent appearing 3 times in beautiful colourful costumes with musicians and energetic light footed dancers. The whole evening was charming and great value for money. The bus was on time and efficient for the 25min trip back. I need not have worried and can thoroughly recommend this evening and think some of the negative comments of others are unjustified.
Great evening. Food very good. Plenty choice and served hot. Floor show enjoyable. Dancers danced a few dances and then had a break which meant it did not become boring.
Really good evening , would have preferred an extra 30 minutes to finish dessert etc but would definitely go again.
Although the pick up and return to Krakow on the Double decker bus was great the evening was a bit of a let down...Traditional dance was okay I guess but not much variety, no costume change nor change of tempo.. All the dances seemed the same . The food was far from traditional or Polish.... Dried Chicken Breast and fried potatoes with Apple Pie and Ice cream...Traditional Polish ?? I think NOT!! The whole experience was very short we left Krakow ..Dinner..Back to Krakow two and a half hours.. Not really worth the money nor effort
My friend and i booked this trip a couple of nights before the event through TripAdvisor. We received our confirmation email and was advised to meet the transport at the bus stop opposite the Raddison blu hotel. We arrived 5 minutes before, as per the instructions on the email. Another couple arrived 5 minutes prior to us and had not seen a bus the whole time they were waiting. We contacted the agency number which was on our confirmation email and was informed that the big red double decker bus had stopped at the bus stop we had been standing at, and had departed on time right beneath our noses without us realising, baring in mind at this point we had been standing there for over half an hour by this point in -2C temperature. The agency on the phone couldn’t have been any less helpful if he tried. He informed me all he could tell me is that we had missed the bus and offered to give me the address of the traditional night to make my own way there! Being accommodated 15 minutes away from the bus stop however, meant that we had already paid for a taxi to get to the bus stop and having waited for a return phone call from the agency, we would have already have missed 45 minutes of the show. This lead to the agency informing me to contact TripAdvisor and request a refund. However, seen as the company are adamant we completely missed a big red bus drive past us, I’m sure this refund will not happen. What a complete waste of time and money. Very very disappointed as this was our last night in krakow and would have been very nice to end the holiday with a traditional night. It doesn’t even deserve one star.
We wanted something a bit different and we got it. Here, we found the perfect balance of tradition, excitement, schmaltziness, and cheesiness. Warning - this is a drive from Krakow; it felt like 30-45 minutes on the bus. Once there, you are not eating right away... so don't wait all day to eat at this dinner. The restaurant is set up family style and the entertainment happens in the middle of the floor. There are better seats... those seated on the sides have very obstructed views. The dancing was fantastic. The music was strong. Everyone was happy. And the food - it comes in waves... but the best is set in the Polish buffet...save room for the polish buffet. That is where you eat the vinegar potato salad, the sausages, the pierogi, the slaws. After you eat, everyone gets up for an overcrowded group walk in a circle that eventually breaks into the chicken dance. Everyone does it, so don't be shy. It was a fun evening. And its a great chance to party with fellow tourists. (Did I mention the dancing is amazing?)
great performances, the food was delicious and enjoyed the cherry vodka . Enjoyed the entire night. One problem was that our bus broke down and you had to wait 2-4 hrs for a replacement. We took an uber. You might consider having a bus ready to go in case there is a problem.
For a lighthearted evening, it was a great night! Food was ok, but grab your drinks quickly as it’s a race to the wine 😂 Entertainment was fantastic and well worthy a trip to see.
Pick-up point was centrally located and easy to find. The music was very nice and the interaction with the dancers made this a memorable experience. The food and pace of the evening was good. Upon our arrival we were served an aperitif and immediately seated. We were promptly served a delicious soup, and a full meal (ours included schnitzel, cooked cabbage and potatoes). After the main meal, they open up the buffet - so we were already pretty full. The buffet provides a variety of sliced meats, cheeses, salads, fruits, bread and deserts. Our only complaint was that due to the tight space of the venue, it was impossible to access the buffet and drink bar during the entertainment.
Fun night out with my wife, more than a enough delicious food with drinks. I would highly recommend.
We found the pick up point early, so waited around in the park. We could see a few others referring to pieces of paper like ours so assumed they were going too. When there was a fair crowd, we wandered over and a woman took our confirmation and we waited for the bus. The bus ride ends at a beautiful wooden cottage restaurant. There we were greeted by staff in traditional dress who gave us a welcome shot of some cherry liqueur, and we found our table. Music and dancing were excellent and done between courses. It was very entertaining. The food was very nice and the free drinks were plentiful. All in all, it was a fantastic evening of good food, drinks and entertainment.
It was a very nice entertainment. The folk dancing was fun and the interacting with the crowd was fun. Dinner was great. A well organized evening.
We had a fab time! Everything was organised well and the cottage was beautiful! Lots of food value for money!
Food was average but the surroundings and entertainment was very good. Although advertised as drunk as much as you like it was difficult to access due to the arrangement of the tables and the number of people present.Would have been good fun if I'm a group but just ok if you are a couple
The food is amazing especially the soup! The staff attentive and the right amount of time left between courses. The entertainment inclusive and lively and fun! Would recommend this to anyone! Possibly the best thing I've spent my money on. Considering we have transport, food, drinks and entertainment included it is amazing value for money!

The song and dance was wonderful. The food really needed an explanation-- many at our table hadn't heard of pierogi and would never have tried them if we didn't encourage it. Signs by each buffet dish would have helped. And more guidance about when to go to buffet. And maybe not having the drinks behind the musicians since we could not access for much of the evening.

Walking into the restaurant, we were met with a band playing Polish music and a shot of wisniowka, Polish cherry vodka. The venue was very quaint. The show was fantastic. The dancing and singing made for a fun evening. I was even asked to dance by the gentleman dancer. I have two left feet but the memory will last a lifetime. The food was delicious and very plentiful. I am so glad that I saw this trip on Viator and would highly recommend it for a fun night in Krakow.

Very nice evening - transportation from Krakow was very easy by bus, and the restaurant was lovely. The seating was a bit difficult as there were wooden columns in front of some of the tables so our view was blocked. It was very crowded so dinner was served in shifts. The food was plentiful and very good, and the dessert was outstanding. This was a very good value for the money.

We visited this excellent restaurant on the Cottage Style Evening with Folk Show and Traditional Feast from Krakow booked through Viator, it was excellent service fro start to finish.

Despite being a 15 minute drive from Krakow Old Town our taxi driver knew exactly where to drop us off when we showed him our paperwork, the open top tour bus was already waiting for us, clearly signed and with our guide waiting to book us on, the journey to the restaurant took about an hour through some pleasing countryside to a beautiful Swiss style log cabin of huge proportions next to a beautiful lake where we were able to watch the Sunset later in the evening.

Welcomed by the waiting staff and the Folk performers with a song and a nice shot which I think was cherry Vodka we were shown to our table along with all the other guests, beer, wine, soft drinks and hot drinks were free all evening on a help yourself basis.

We were soon brought our starter, a traditional Polish vegetable and noodle soup with bread and dripping on the table, I opted for just the bread dripping not being my cup of tea.

The folk dancers/musicians then started the first of their routines entertaining everyone with traditional Polish folk dances and folk music performed by an accordionist, Violinist and Flutist. It was most enjoyable.

Our main course followed which was Pork cutlet with potatoes and side, all very nice followed by a delicious apple pie and ice cream with more performances by the dancers and musicians, this time with much audience participation.

After all that food the staff brought out the buffet made up with many traditional Polish dishes which I cannot really comment on as I was already too stuffed to try them.

A final performance by the artists rounded off a brilliant evening, we then wandered down to the lake to watch the sunset before re-boarding the tour bus.

The building itself is beautiful all made of timber, inside is very clean and comfortable, the artists where excellent and the whole night was enchanting.

We highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommended. Enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Show was very entertaining. The food was good but not wow. Will definitely do it again if we return to Krakow.
